Take Care is a gem in Georgetown! The owner, Becky, and her team are welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. I always get great recommendations without the pressure to purchase products I don't need. The product selection is curated by Becky, whom I've come to trust over the years. She's consistently looking for the best clean products, even before "clean beauty" became a mainstream viral category. It's my go-to place for skincare, makeup, hair, and wellness products. Even if they don't have a particular item on their shelves, Becky and Karin are always willing to check and order them for you, if needed. Customer service is the best you can get. Their spa is also a great place to get facials and they recently added massages and Reiki. Master aestetician Erin's facials are incredible and her scalp massages are to die for! Definitely worth a visit!

I wish it was possible to give more than five stars to both Carolyn and to the amazing products that she used for my Rose Quartz Reiki facial. These products were the most luxurious I've ever felt on my face - and I've had many facials! You honestly will not believe how your skin feels with these products on it. In addition, Carolyn has a gentle, soothing nature that translates into her work. My facial with her was an hour of total relaxation and escape for me, and I highly recommend her services and the rose quartz products she used, regardless of your skin type! Thank you, Carolyn!

This is a gem of a shop. Their selection of clean beauty is excellent and they have a lovely selection of essential oil infused candles. Their facials are also outstanding. All of their estheticians are wonderful, but Erin is next level.

All store associates are quick to help and very thoughtful with their recommendations! The makeup section never disappoints, and that's why i come back again and again! It is always on my must visit list of Georgetown!

If you have not been to Take Care yet, I suggest you RUN there. It is such a gem and we are so lucky to have them in DC. The shop itself carries the absolute best of natural beauty and skincare.

I also suggest you book an appointment for a facial treatment at their in-house spa. I went for my first facial yesterday with Regina and truly don't have words for how amazing it was. I have had facials all over the DMV and this one was by far the best experience I have ever had. The environment itself is clean, approachable, and calming and Regina took time to ask me about my specific skin goals before starting the service. I LOVED knowing that they are using extremely high quality and natural products in the service. This facial was the perfect mix of effective skin treatments and the most relaxing facial massage you'll ever have.

I can't wait to go back again soon!!

I moved out of DC but I still buy products from her online. Becky does her research, is very knowledgeable about the lines she carries and understands what the active ingredients do. Take Care Shop also has a great Instagram page that is fun and educational. If you have time I also highly recommend a facial as well. It’s such a calming place to experience and Erin is fantastic!

I absolutely adore this place. I’ve gotten a few facial treatments done by Regina and I cannot recommend her or the shop enough. Usually I don’t fall asleep during facials because it’s hard for me to relax that much, but I passed out during my most recent facial because I was so relaxed. If you’re looking for a relaxing and comforting experience, I’d go here!

One of my favorite shops in all of DC. I love how knowledgeable Becky is about all of the products and she’ll be honest and tell you if something might not be right for your skin needs. It’s just such a joy to shop in the store. Don’t even get me started on the spa services. I’ve gotten a few facials (post-COVID) and they take so much care to make sure it is a completely safe experience. But the facials are literally out of this world. I get transported to another planet during them I swear. And Heather and Regina both gave me really great advice based on what they noticed about my skin.

Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Love the aesthetic and love the products-- tends to be organic and/or plant based, minimal additives.. My wife got a lip scrub here she really likes and I bought the Laurel lip balm (lavender) which is really moisturizing without the excessive shine of most lip products. Also, the owner and employees are friendly and attentive, answering questions and making suggestions. Best part, they have a beautiful sink where you can try out many of the products. Highly recommend this place if you're in the market for personal care products!

I ordered two products online to have shipped to my house. The shipping was super fast, and the package came with some awesome samples and a sweet hand written thank you note. I will definitely purchase from here again!

This store is genuinely wonderful and one of a kind in DC. All of the products I've tried have been truly effective and it's especially nice to know they're all cruelty free, eco-friendly and non-toxic. Everyone in the store is kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the brands. It's my favorite store in Georgetown.

I visited Donahues resturant which is below the shop shown. I had dinner there. A basement resturant is a surprising place. Reception area a long bar and an intimate small dining area. The menu was upscale caviar interesting sea food choices but a balance with duck and barbecue ribs crab grilled pate and also a chocolate desert with interesting texture. A pine Apple tangerine desert with cream and mint. Wine and mixed drinks. Service was efficient and the doorman Lo very helpful old school. The chef was in evidence to greet customers and check on our desires. Worth a visit. Has a web page and menu.

I absolutely love this place, very friendly and knowledgable staff with great natural products. I come for baking soda free deodorant, specifically Meow Meow Tweet. They also allow you to sample the products before you buy.

The interior is absolutely lovely. Staff is super welcoming and are really able to advise you. All the product is high quality and you get to discover many brands that feel very natural and organic.

I love this place, very friendly and informed staff. Plenty natural products to choose from, I come here for natural baking soda free deodorant in which they ha e helped me find the one that works for me, a little expensive, but worth the money in quality.
