Great place to deal with for your vintage auto. The staff are craftsmen at what they do and are very meticulous. A full service shop from repairs to restoration at the highest levels. These folks genuinely care about the customer, there needs and expectations. I can say that I totally trust in there advice and recommendations during the repair/restoration process. There is no salesmanship here, just honest advice and concern for a proper, well executed, professional and expert job done. I highly recommend Competition Motors LTD at the highest level. Give them a call on your next project.

I took a vehicle to them with the goal that the engine was gone over and ensure that it starts/runs consistently. After 10 months and over 8k in shop fees - they charge by the hour and not the job, I went to pick the vehicle up. Not only did it not start (the new battery i put in there was dead), after finally getting it started, put it in gear, i couldn't make it up the loading dock ramp where they parked it. It died.. After waiting for awhile they finally got it up and out. i was dissatisfied and the only solution they could offer was if I decided to work on it myself, they could help me purchase discounted parts. After I got home I realized that they left the interior door panels in shambles (they took it apart to test the automatic windows) and some of the interior panels were off. The brakes were super soft (were perfect when I brought it in) The least they could do is put it back together they way they found it. If you are rich and have a bugatti or other rare car, you will be guaranteed they'll put in enough work for a 5 star review. They told me at the beginning that it wasn't the case, I trusted them, and ended up with what I started with - a car i can't drive sitting in my garage. This was a couple years ago.

Dropped my 1974 Cadillac Eldorado off to have some engine work done along with some minor switch repair and a couple of front shocks installed. Vehicle was brought in on or around begining of March and the roof switch repair was done in the first month i felt a long time for five hours of work. The issues i had were i was quoted a price of between three thousand and fourth five hundred for the engine leak repair and re install. The car sat for three months when after repeated calls all the work was done in the last nine days three and a half months later!!! bought the car to be in two weddings and missed them both. Oh and the cost was closer to nine grand maybe more. i was lied to but you can't prove it because it's a forty year old car and let's face it you could replace every nut and bolt in the engine if you wanted too. The car ran pretty well but it had two leaks hence the repair. I will never take another vehicle here and suggest you get in writing not that it will do any good. The engine mechanic is close to eighty years old and they charge over 120.00 dollars an hour for him and he moves at a glacial pace. Go elsewhere save yourself the aggravation wish i did.
