392Caffe

This is my favorite coffee shop in the QC. This is the place to go if you appreciate strong espresso/coffee and handcrafted flavors. My favorite drinks are any with the vanilla creme, and any of the fall/Winter drinks.

They also offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They taste very clean and homemade. My personal favorite is "the brunch", my husband likes their breakfast burrito as well. They have smoothies (including a kids size), which my toddler appreciates.

The only downside to the Utica location is that it's pretty small on the inside. There are a handful of tables.

Love the ability to order ahead online and the drive through.

The BEST coffee I’ve ever had I’m in the area with my mom for the day and I had to leave a review it’s so amazing!!! The coffee has flavor and the workers are so so kind!!

I am normally a dark coffee type of person but this coffee is so phenomenal that I was perfectly ok with a more light to medium brew. Paton was so helpful and patient with me as this was my first time and I had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere, the customer service and the coffee all amazing. I am rather picky when it comes to what is in the coffee and where it’s sourced. I know that most coffee is full of mold and pesticides, so I was happy to find a place that had great ethically sourced coffee. What a great find. I will definitely be back before I leave town. Paton even told me about a great coffee place closer to where I live! Thanks for the experience and the coffee!

Carefully prepared espresso drinks. They know coffee here. The espresso is on trend in that it's a brighter/lighter roast which most people currently prefer. They also have a slightly earthier espresso available on request. Still a medium roast but with less brightness. Nice latte art.

Incredible cortado! Delivered with sparkling water. World class. Reminiscent of how Onyx Coffee Labs presents their coffee. I also ordered their Power Puck. Excellent energy bomb! Happy that I found them and will return when I’m driving through IA!

I'm not sure when 392Caffe started in the area. I only noticed it during a recent visit to the area for lunch at Pancheros. Truthfully, I didn't even recognize it was a cafe until I looked it up online. I needed something to cap off my meal and subsequent dessert at Cold Stone, however, so I decided to stop in for a quick tea.

The space is definitely bright. The majority of the walls and ceiling are white with small decoration, while the back wall near the restrooms, part of the coffee bar, and the menu are all black. The overhead also has a combination of exposed HVAC ductwork and accent lighting that contributes to this harsher design contrast. The flooring is also mostly unadorned, just a simple concrete slab. None of this detracted from my experience or is being leveled as a criticism, though. The space is clean, both in design and hygiene, and I quite like the industrial appearance.

I knew I wanted a tea and the barista helped walk me through their selection. I'm a mostly green tea drinker, so, I decided on a Himalayan Mountains green tea. A few minutes later, he brought me my drink, which came in a combination of a small carafe and mug. On the whole, I have no complaints about the tea. It's definitely different than I'd normally get - a bit more grassy and tannic than I'd prefer, but good nonetheless.

The one drawback to the whole experience during my visit was the overall noise level in the space. The entire time I was there, generic modern pop music was playing at a level above my general comfort. Personally when I'm going out for a hot beverage at a cafe, it's either alone to read/study or with one or two people to sit and quietly visit. This detracted from either of these possibilities. Maybe I just don't get it - some people probably like the louder experience and party-like aesthetic with their latte.

The tea was good and I'd probably stop back in if I were in the area for a meal again. It's an interesting space and everyone I talked to behind the counter was really nice. Thanks 392!

First impressions (of this location)

Outside looks standard except that slick roof for the drive through 👍

I enjoy the fashion forward interior with all the sharp edges of the seats, counter, logo. Color choice is nice, black and white with a splash of a neon sign in pink.

My go to “rating drink” is a cappuccino.
-Latte art on point.
-milk temp on point
-shots not acidic, just a tad lighter than what I prefer but am enjoying the overall experience. Maybe I need to get a cortado instead. 🤔🙃
+ bonus points for the pink mug and tiny black spoon, lol

-sweetness just right!
-if I had to guess I’d bet money they use butter which is THE way to make cookies.
- price point 😢 too much for my taste but I paid to check it out. 🤙

Edit: back after a few months, low key suggestion, had the breakfast brioche sandwich. Flavor on point, brioche is amazing, sandwhich was a little too much bread for me, maybe adding a little more spinach, for extra texture. :) coffee still on point!!!

Edit: Nov. 3 keep it up I’ve gotten the turtleneck latte and the pumpkin drink, 1/2 less of sweeteners. Good stuff. Cappuccino still my go to and still consistent! 👏👏fall drink menu says 6 - 8 price point. Mine was 6 plus .50 for oat milk plus 15% tip totals $8 for a small, looks like 12oz cup.

Edit: Dec 19th had a hiccup with a plain coffee refill, confirmed with the owner Jay that emailed me back that there are $1.50 refills on coffee as long as you are drinking in house.

Update: Jan 2023 happy new year, having a mug of “diamond” coffee. So smooth. So enjoyable. Today might be my last time in a long time to come here :’(

392 is hands down the best caffe in the QC.

Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. They’re happy to answer questions, make recommendations, and guide you along your caffeinated experience whether you’re coming over from Starbucks or deeply into craft coffee.

They have a wide variety of beverages on tap and offer breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and other treats as well.

But most importantly, their coffee is delicious! Whether it’s a pour over, cold brew, nitro, espresso, or milk based drink, it just tastes phenomenal!

My hubs and I are traveling across the country, and when he realized we were stopping in Davenport for lunch, he wanted to check out the coffee shop, "Seth Rollins owns." I don't normally drink coffee, but I asked the batista what he recommended if I like really sweet stuff. He had me at... "homemade caramel and vanilla!" I had an ice latte with caramel and vanilla. It was soooo good! Tasted just like coffee candy or coffee ice cream... if that makes sense. They also had nice apparel for sale that was reasonably priced. I surprised the hubs with a shirt for $10. Now I wish i would have gotten the shirt in black too for myself! Service was great, the staff was really friendly!

I did drive thru. It was a different experience compared to what I'm used to. There's no menu with a speaker to order at. They have a drive thru door instead and hand menus. This pic is from the drive thru. Love the art. I think this place strives more inside customers though. Still a pretty cool place! I got a iced mocha/bourbon latte. Pretty tasty!

I’m obsessed with the breakfast burrito. This place is the BEST! Everything here is just amazing from the drinks to the food! Super cool vibes inside too.

I tried the honey cinnamon latte with oat milk and a chocolate chip cookie.
Warm welcoming space, modern and simple design, friendly and personal service… the coffee is excellent. Smooth and perfectly roasted. Latte was Balanced in sweetness and flavor. And the chocolate chip cookie is bold on the chocolate, Just the way I like it.

I’m at the 4750 Utica Ridge location and whoever you have working now are AMAZING. The barista talked to me about the different types of coffee (I bought two bags) and gave me a sample to try in addition to the one shot and one cortado I had… the other person was so sweet and kind and talked to me about the area (I’m not from here). I *wish* I lived here so I could come back every day. Thank you for being here!!

Lovely new upscale coffeehouse in Bettendorf! My latte was great and my daughter enjoyed a sprinkle sugar cookie and almond croissant.

Very good iced vanilla latte. Would go back to try more. No seasonal menu at the time we went.

atmosphere is actually relaxing. Food is really good. I suggest the breakfast burrito or burrito bowl. The staff also are excellent.

Excelente place to relax and get a coffee. They have great different styles and the baristas give great advice on new things to try.

Absolute favorite coffee spot in the QC. The salted caramel latte is to die for! The food always tastes fresh. Comfortable environment to dine in, eat outside on the patio, or take to go. Service is always 10/10 the staff is incredibly friendly and I always look forward to going.

I come to this place 4-5 times a week. The baristas and staff are wonderful and welcoming, the coffee is the BEST in the QCA, the food... OH MY GOODNESS! Get the breakfast burrito with chorizo added and you will NOT regret it!! Also, the owners are some of the sweetest and most intentional people you will ever meet!
