Mavis Tires & Brakes

While in town for weekend we realized an issue with a tire on our vehicle. Stopped by Mavis where we met Aaron. His knowledge and expertise of our issue and the product/services that Mavis offers was assuring. We ended up buying a set of new tires. They look great and ride better but most importantly the price was right. Aaron and the team did a great job for us to ensure we left as happy customers. Service was quick and we enjoyed the air conditioned waiting area for customers while they worked on vehicle. We definitely plan to return to them for tires as well as other services they offer. We are very pleased.

Very professional, friendly, helpful, and the manager went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. Great prices too! We needed a new tire and they completed the job in 30 minutes and gave us a discount! I highly recommend Mavis Tire!

I couldn't be happier with the service. Usually I'm a little weary of going to nationally-owned garage chains but I also know that they can be good or bad depending on the management. Everything that I observed left me with confidence that repairs will be done correctly and the young lad that manages the garage was very polite and helpful. This will be my go-to place unless something happens otherwise.

Having issues with our Lincoln so came for an alignment. The manager Erin showed me how bad my tires were. These tires are an odd size and hard to find, but Erin found them and aquired them the same day. Even gave me a ride to my house, because I didn’t bring enough money with me. Erin was certainly honest, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond in his attempts to satisfy my needs. I will recommend them and will definitely be back again.

We needed new tires for my SUV, so we went to Mavis to schedule an appointment. We were greeted by Aaron, who talked with us about our options, and guided us on what he thought would be best. I visited this establishment a week ago to have new tires put on a truck that we bought my Daughter. They went above and beyond helping us get this taken care of as we were in a bind after she had totaled a previous vehicle and needed this for school and work. Aaron, the manager, was excellent and went above and beyond what you would call customer service. He is a value to your company.

Today was the second time I’ve been to mavis tires in Batesburg and the two times I’ve come here my experience has been the best. Aaron was the person that helped me with everything when I first came here. His communication skills are the best and he’s also nice and help explain everything you need unlike some people but if you need help with anything when you come here ask for Aaron because he’ll have you in and out with no problems.

My vehicle was serviced 20 days ago with new inside and outside tie rods and an alignment. I noticed the alignment was off again and brought the vehicle back in to be checked. Aaron the store manager said I had a bad tie rod which was odd because it was a brand new part. They replaced the part and realigned my vehicle again at no cost. Satisfied customer.

Prompt service. They kept in touch with me, letting me know when my tires arrived and again after they were done installing them. Top notch service!

Mavis Tire & Brakes, Batesburg-Leesville SC location, provided me with superior, friendly, and competitive pricing/services.
I initially went to them as a referral from a competitor because that shop could not see me till the middle of the next month. Unfortunately, I had a prior scheduled trip and could not wait for them to schedule me in. This company, which will remain unnamed, provided me a reference to Mavis Tire & Brakes.
Upon my initial call, I was greeted on the phone with a very professional, empathetic employee, Aaron. He was very amenable for me to bring my vehicle down later on that day – stating that they would work me into their day’s schedule.
On arrival, I met Aaron and was thoroughly impressed with his professional/ethical skills/persona. After describing the problem, he asked if we (he and I) could take a short test drive to perform a short road test for an initial diagnosis. Within a minute of the start of the test drive, Aaron was firmly assured with his suspicions that there were multiple issues and that they needed to definitely need to put the vehicle on the lift to clearly identify the exact problems.
After about ten minutes on the lift, Aaron returned to let me know their findings. I was escorted to my car and as we were going through the findings, he was very deliberate in describing their findings and providing me with option, guidance, and alternatives. Clearly, there was a serious problem with the front-end of my car showed me that I needed to have Mavis Tire & Brakes perform their recommended repairs to ensure I was driving a safe car and to prevent any further damages that might have occurred if I had not come in then to ‘fix the noise’ that I initially heard.
After about 15 minutes of wait time, Aaron returned to me with a quote of what was recommended to repair. During this interaction, Aaron was conscious of my budget and my lack of more mechanical knowledge and walked me though all the possibilities as well as communicated very well their competitive prices to fix my car. Once was was initiated, Aaron was acutely aware of my time and keep me apprised of the approximate time to completion of the repairs.
The repairs were more extensive than originally determined and due to outside factors outside of his control, he had to push off the initial time to repair to later that same day. Around closing time for Mavis, Aaron called me and advised that they were still working on it and if I wanted to return to the shop (20+ minutes away), I could wait their for the team to complete the full repairs.
On arrival, Aaron greeted me & advised that they were still working diligently on the repair and that they would have it to me as soon as they could – assuring me that they were going to make completely sure that I had a safe car to continue using.
Near the end of the end of the entire repair, Aaron personally took the initiative to perform a test drive with me in the vehicle to make sure that all of the repairs were done correctly, and I was satisfied with their work. Due to unforeseen changes to a metal item related to the brakes (which was making a noise of the final test run) they stayed, continuing to adjust and test until they had resolved this last-minute adjustment that was needed.
I can completely, honestly say that I was utterly amazed at the level of professionalism of Aaron and his team provided to me. It was ‘outstanding’. I could not have asked for a better experience in dealing with Mavis. He, and his team, are consummate professionals experienced in tires, brakes, and front-end work - and a made sure that I left there a very satisfied customer, which I was. I highly recommend anyone with issues similar to mine to give Mavis Tire & Breaks an opportunity. Aaron deserves 5 GOLD STARS.

Aaron was exceptional in assisting me with my tire replacement. Also, he informed me that my alignment created the issues with my tire wearing excessively on the inside treads! He recommended getting the alignment done ASAP! I really respect his integrity! Definitely give MAVIS a try in Batesburg.
