Fireman Derek's Bake Shop

Wow...this was an amazing place to come for some dessert. I visited this location of Fireman Dereks for my first-ever Yelp Elite Event and it did not disappoint. After checking in I received a giant goody bag from the two friendly staff working in the evening. I got a slice of key lime pie, cake in a jar, a giant cookie, and a hat. Luckily, I brought two friends to share with me because I would definitely not have been able to finish it all myself. Every single item tasted amazing and satisfied all of my sweet cravings. Their pies looked especially good. I would come back to try their coconut cream pie or NY-style cheesecake. This seems to be a new location and it deserves to get all the attention. The store is clean and has ample seating. Can't wait for my next visit

This is my favorite dessert spot to visit in Fort Lauderdale. The staffs are sweet, polite and attentive. My favorite pie is definitely the Dulce Banana ✨✨❤ highly recommend

Wow! The best. The guava white chocolate cookie was recommended last night and OMGOSH! The BEST cookie I’ve ever had hands down. The guys working were awesome. And the carrot cake is without question the absolute best carrot cake that exists.

We’ve had a ton of slices from this place, and everything is off the charts delicious. The brownie!! Yum.

Fireman Derek truly never disappoints! Every time I have a special occasion or birthday, my first thought is getting something from his bakery -- It makes every experience more memorable & enjoyable -- I love how you can customize the cake however you want--- half red velvet cake and half birthday is the BEST & a fan favorite!

The best desserts in all of South Florida! I was a frequent flyer at Fireman Derek's Wynwood for years so as a Broward native, I was thrilled when my favorite bake shop opened the Fort Lauderdale location. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and every treat is 10/10! From pies and cakes to cookies and brownies, there's so many delicious desserts to choose from so you really can't go wrong. For every occasion, I always make sure to bring something from Fireman Derek's and all of my family, friends and coworkers love it!

There's a sign that says "make anything you see here into a milkshake!" Wow, okay, yes! (Except the brownie... they said it's too thick to make into a milkshake) I had the peanut butter chocolate pie as a milkshake. Ahhhmazing!

I never write reviews and I bake my own delicious cakes. I happened to a birthday party serving red velvet cake from Fireman Derek and basically I'll never bake my own red velvet again when this perfection exists! Well done!

My favorite is the dulce banana! Literally a 10/10 ! The atmosphere is very welcoming clean and your literally in and out , the quality of anything is so worth & I’m literally addicted

The moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air, making my mouth water, and the customer service was top-notch.

I'm obsessed with this bake shop!! Everything is so fresh and tasty. I always get the guava white chocolate chip cookie and cookies & cream cake slice. I also love bringing whole pies as hostess gifts for birthday dinners and special occasions.

Best place for desserts EVER! Been to a couple of locations & they never disappoint. Everything is top quality & unique. As a key lime pie connoisseur I can tell you their pie holds up. Be prepared though - one slice is $10 🤭

So happy to have this place in FTL. I love so many items like the key lime pie, smores brownies & carrot cake. Honestly many items to calm the sweet tooth cravings! They have seasonal items so its good to see what they are up to :) maybe thats the excuse to keep going back!

Friendly service and fast! Didn’t read the other reviews before going but they must be a bunch of Karen’s. Had a slice of chocolate cake and coconut cream pie. Perfect! Got a scoop of ice cream for my pie and had a nice night alone smashing my face.

I love this place so happy they opened up in Fort Lauderdale. Abby was amazing and super helpful. Nick is also very nice, i love their cookies and icecream. Everything about this place is phenomenal :)

The Nutella cake and all their cookies are my favorite ! The customer service was on point when ordering a cake for my mom’s birthday. They were kind and had the cake ready to go for my celebration. I highly recommend their goodies. Delicious !

Always great customer service at this location! I moved here from Miami and was so elated when they opened one here. My cravings are always satisfied because the cakes/pies never disappoint.
