Well, I am a native of Phoenixville and there was a time when the staff were not the friendliest. But, since then, they've changed their attitudes and have become more welcoming and if there is a line it goes quickly, and they are quite efficient. So I think that the Phoenixville Post Office has come a long way, in the last few years. I do see them trying to make vast improvements. And I like that it's old fashioned and there hasn't been too many changes ...I'm in-and-out and they're very helpful.

The Post office box at my building has a lock that is not working...I had a pkg delivered thurs or Fri last week, I cannot access it, had another pkg delivered this morning, same thing, cannot access. I had something to send, so I took the time to go to the post office location. I took care of my outgoing pkg and then mentioned the issue with accessing my pkgs...so a supervisor came and said to meet him there (I'm just a couple blocks away), and he fixed it!! Well, I was able to get my pkgs, and the lock needs to be replaced, but he's on top of it!!

I submitted a form on USPS's website for a missing package that had been marked as delivered in my mailbox. An hour later, I received a call from Mike, who informed me that the carrier was on his way back to look for my package. The carrier found it in the wrong mailbox and then hand-delivered it to my doorstep. Within an hour and a half of submitting the form, I had my package. Mistakes happen. What matters is how you recover from them. Big thanks to Mike and my carrier for such quick resolution and friendly customer service.

A package seemed to have been misplaced. I filed an online submission, someone from the Phoenixville Post Office contacted me that day to let me know they were looking into it. I received a call the next day that they had the package and were putting it out for the next delivery. The package came as promised the next day. Quick, efficient, and courteous.

In this post office, and I have been to many, one is treated professionally at the same time kindly. On several occasions, the postal worker has pointed out better choices for packaging etc. helping me as a retiree to save money and still be able to share with my friends and family across the country. This is my favorite of the three places I live in this country during the year!

Being a business owner, I am at the Phoenixville post office nearly every day. I am always treated with respect and professionalism, although I have seen customers treat the postal counter employees with disdain and disrespect. Before you decide to air your problems to these wonderful people, please consider the immense amount of stress they are under in dealing with everyone's packages, especially those who decide they want the counter people to wrap and tape and address their packages for them, like they are a UPS store. They are not, and they are not required to tape your packages, either, yet they do this because they are service-dedicated.

I have nothing but commendation for the immense amount of patience the counter employees exude each time I walk in the door. Even if the line is out the door, they try their best to help people. Please extend them the same courtesy and view them as equal to yourself, not some lower kind of person because they work at the post office. In my years of being self-employed, and dealing with suppliers and shippers, the employees at the Phoenixville post office surpass in dedication many with whom I have had contact. Please show them respect, they deserve it, their job is not easy, and they are not here to be your doormat. Thank you Terry, John, Marina, and Orlando!

I was having trouble tracking a package and submitted an inquiry. Within a day John called me and was able to tell me where my package was currently and provided a great explaination regarding the tracking messages/updates I was receiving. Thank you John! I appreciate you!

A package I was waiting on has still not arrived...it was due to be here Aug 27...today is Aug 29.
Orlando, at the Phoenixville PO, is amazing. He has done everything in his power to find this package to meet my Sunday deadline. He is kind, patient, resourceful...He is a tribute to his profession! Thank you, Orlando! Cynthia C.

I've called the post office for help several times in the past. Whoever I talked to has always been extremely helpful, answered my questions, looked up information for me. I find the USPS website sometimes tricky to navigate, so the post office is my go-to for information. I just called about a mailing question and received prompt, accurate information. Thanks to the staff at USPS Phoenixville.
