Had a shift cable linkage connection fail on my boat and was stuck in reverse during a very busy holiday week late afternoon cruise. While other marinas wouldn’t help us, Ted was willing to service us, as long as we could wait for others that were ahead in his queue—a very fair approach. Sooner than expected, Ted and his team found and made the simple fix to get us on our way again. Really appreciate the uncommonly positive customer focus and experience—Thank You!

Took boat to get outboard started, had been repaired by Patterson past 2 years with over $4000.00 spent; told 3 weeks 5/28. Called to check on progress and Ted said we are not a customer and he does not know when they will get to boat. Picked up boat from their lot after putting fresh gas and took to ramp, started right up so drove around to our dock, it quit when past McHenry, called Paterson and Ted said again we are not a customer and he would not help. I guess only people that store boats at his marina are his customers and he is not interested in any other business. Poor Customer service from Ted and Silver Tree marina was recommended by ski boat that towed us to dock.

I had Patterson boat Co work on my 2005 supra that I purchased for them in 2006. August 7th of 2021 the boat Was taken in the damper plate had broken . I was told it would be done late September. I also requested to have new seals put in the V drive as it had been leaking. After many calls in October, November, December asking to get the boat finished and back that was not happening!! I lost my storage spot by December 1st that cost me $300.00. I started calling weekly starting in March ! Wanda there office person was pleasant but was no help in getting anything done.I was told in April that they were unable to fix the V drive and would put it back together without repair. No charge . I received a call June 6 2022 to come test drive the boat. We also found a hole in the backseat that was not there before it was taken there . We also found that the low oil light would not go out on the V drive I was told they put a new one in and it worked the day before… if I wanted to order a new one I could at my cost. The bill came to $3450.48 in that I was charged to have the boat dewinterized and launched for a water test $130.00 and charged $65.00 to have it taken out of the water and loaded on my trailer! Remember I was to have it in the fall of 2021! They also charge 3% for credit cards. When I asked about having the $130.00 and the $65.00 removed I was told how he has overhead cost’s!!!!! Very disappointed I know if I was not persistent in calling it would have taken over a year to get the boat.

They gave me an estimate for a boat repair but when it came time to pay the bill, they had charged me double. Since they did not call me to discuss the higher bill before doing the repair, but just went ahead and did the work without my knowledge or agreement, I had to pay an additional $600+ that I had not anticipated, or forfeit my boat. After paying this amount, the boat still did not shift into a lower gear, making it impossible to dock. They estimated that would cost an additional $800 to repair, including storage fees (because it was now November, and they would not be able to put the boat in the water to repair it until April —when they promised it would be repaired. Now it is June and I have not heard from them. They rarely return phone calls, so you literally need to drive over there, ask the receptionist a question —like, “has my boat been repaired yet”, and then drive back over there, on a different day, to see what the answer is.
