I always love coming here. The environment always calls for good vibes. Anna is awesome and quick with drinks and making sure we are taken care of! Brooke is always on top of getting drinks out in a timely manner. Staff overall just makes sure everyone is having a good time. The option to be able to dj the bar yourself is awesome too. We love tonic❤❤❤

Tonic is one of my favorite bars on Court! Whether you get Anna, Brooke, Savannah, Manny, Kyle, or any of their other staff, your sure to get good service in one of the cleanest and most affordable bars on Court Ave!

Stopped into Tonic to watch the Iowa game and what a great idea. Super fun crowd and our bartender Brooke was just a doll. Free pizza at halftime and there was plenty! Super relaxing patio and they even welcome dogs! Gotta love a pet friendly bar.

This bar is probably the best bar in downtown Des Moines, if not the entire metro area. Brooke was my bartender last night for the Iowa-Penn State game. There were plenty of people but Brooke was super fun and had my drink ready before I could even ask. Great atmosphere!

Hung out at tonic today because it is raining. Brooke, the bartender was absolutely amazing! So personable and made me laugh. Made great drinks as well and recommended options when I couldn’t decide. Will definitely come back again just to see her! Best bar downtown!!

They had the Bud Crawford fight and didn't charge to get in! Great atmosphere and plenty of TV! We were in town from Omaha for a youth basketball tournament and came about 20 - 30 deep to watch the fight! Thanks for a great experience!!!!

Great place for a drink downtown with some of the best bartenders ever, mayce, brook, anna, shawn, eddy and everyone else are all awesome. Try their tonic bomb on tap for a delicious beverage.

Fast service, clean bar & restrooms, amazing staff!! When they do the drag brunch, the bar turns into a runway show! So beautiful. perfect patio for the nice weather, too!!!

Tonic is my place to go, ever since the pandemic they have done a great job of filling government regulations. The bartenders are great about requiring guest to wear their masks. I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The staff and the people are great!
