This place is awesome: the staff and food is great it takes awhile sometimes for food but overall it's worth it

I ate here after Montclair's open house, and this has been one of the best eating experiences I've had in a while. I was able to get meals and drinks for 2 as well as a appetizer for under $30. On top of that the portion sizes were really filling, something incredible for the price. The food was a bit oily, but really delicious, so I recommend anyone in the area to give this place a try!

I love this place. The service was excellent. The food was good. Only thing I didn't like was the price. I get college food is supposed to be expensive but their cheapest meal was $7 but if you have the funds for it, this is a great place to eat

Don't understand the bad reviews??? My son is a student at Montclair State and we always go there when we visit him. Friendly and courteous staff, delicious food served hot and fast, one of the best diners I've eaten in anywhere. Plus they treat the students very well, have weekly specials and provide a very nice environment for them to get away to and relax or get some work done.

Michael Wynn MSU Class of '74 Loves this beautiful Red Diner located on the MSU Campus in the greatest City in New Jersey Montclair and one the best University in the State.The servers and kitchen staff are all Excellent. The Coffee and Food - the Best. The manager is a cool person. Great '50, '60, '70 style diner and Experience. Come on by, You will LOVE IT!!!; Yes, you will says Michael Wynn. Period! Blank!

Cute little old school diner is a real diner with great prices and food. Easier to eat there during summer because of parking . People were nice...food is reg diner food.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE, REALLY COOL SERVER, NICE TO TALK TO...WILL DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN...TRY TO SAVE SOME ROOM FOR THE BANANA SPLIT NEXT TIME...

GG, Demian, and Christian provided outstanding service and really made eating at the diner a phenominal experience. I would happily recomend this establishment to others.
