MAWS GROCERY(MARATHON)

The long haired guy named Jimmy, is the reason I got 5 miles out of my way home from work everyday, to stop by this store. He is an exceptional human being. Always in a good mood and always trying to make ya smile. One of a kind dude.

Gas always higher than average in town.

So disappointed to see a wonderful small town locally owned gas station/convenience store turn into a safe haven for thieves. I literally had my wallet stolen off the bench right outside the store where I was sitting and they allowed somebody to continuously run a debit card as credit to get the cash. Then they did it to another card in my lawn that belong to an elderly woman that I stay with. Not only did they try to cover it up but they begged us and begged us not to call the cops. They would not let us see the footage of the register and transactions being made because the owner and the manager were all in on it together how lovely is it that you can't even trust a local gas station anymore

My husband is a regular here. He left his wallet inside the market. Someone there was charging his card. I went to pick up his wallet after we were alerted by the bank. The card that was being used was still in the wallet. It had crossed my mind that somebody found it outside, used it and returned it. However, with all the rain that we had, things would have been destroyed inside. I have no doubt in my mind that the employees were using my husband's card. He will no longer give them business now.
