I had the pleasure of fishing with Greg Hill at FOB Lake Fork, and it was an outstanding experience! Greg took my father and I out for some late February pre spawn fish. Amazing friendly guy with clearly tons of knowledge and experience out on the lake able to break both of our pbs out there. Definitely recommend and will be back for another trip!

Over these last 2 days Greg Hill has shown us nothing but the best experience of Texas bass fishing my 2 buddies or I could have ever asked for. From breaking my personal best bass officially to showing us what true southern hospitality looks and feels like truly is an experience of a lifetime. Greg is very knowledgeable with the fishing on lake fork and is extremely patient with anglers of all skill levels. what makes F.O.B. Even better is they have a beautiful cabin for rent on the lake making this service a one stop shop. There is nothing better than waking up and walking straight out to get on the boat! We booked two full days of fishing with Greg and another guide mid March.
My daughter and I were with Greg of which he took us to multiple areas of the lake in search of a monster bass. He was very patient with us and our lack of experience bed fishing on the lake and taught us how to approach the type of fishing with proper tactics of which proved to be effective.
Greg provided all the gear and necessary equipment to go on this trip and was extremely knowledgeable of the lake and the proper techniques required to catch the targeted species of fish.
We will definitely reserve his services for future trips and he is highly recommend no matter what your skill level be.

When you're doing what you love, it doesn't feel like work.
It was clear from the moment we got on the boat that Greg wasn't just punching a clock. He loves fishing, he loves teaching new tricks to people who think they're already good at fishing, and he gets excited for every fish that comes on the boat like he caught it himself.
I'll definitely be back for more. In the meantime, I'm singing Greg's praises to anyone headed to Lake Fork.

Fished with Greg 4-19-2021, what great experience, will definitely be booking another trip. From the initial call to returning to the boat house it was a most pleasurable, informative and professional experience. I have fished with several Guides on Lake Fork as well as Guides on Table Rock and Falcon, Greg is second to none. Greg dials you trip in on your preferences from the initial call. Everything is planned around your request and interest.

Greg doesn't waste anytime, he already knows where the fish are and what it's going to take to catch them.
The fishing gear is top notch and in excellent condition and ready for your first cast.
His electronic are second t none and he knows how to use them and shares information on using them.

Greg has a vast knowledge of Lake Fork and fishing Lake Fork which he shares freely. He is a great instructor if you're wanting to learn a new technique or bass behavior during different times of the year.

For me I never bed fished and wanted to learn more. Greg had me catching bed fish in short order demonstrating and coaching all the way through and explaining every detail about what the fishes behavior will be and how to tell when it's going to bite. I never knew there was so much to take in consideration.

If you are looking for a dependable, professional guide with good equipment with real Lake Fork knowledge that can put you on fish then Greg Hill is the Guide of Choice.

My three boys (ages 14, 12, and 10) and I fished with Greg on 3/29/21 and had a fantastic time. Greg has a first class boat (21 foot Skeeter) and top of the line equipment. We haven't done a lot of bass fishing, and Greg was super patient with all of us. He was interested in not only catching fish, but teaching my boys different casting and baiting techniques. He knows the lake very well and took us to many different spots on the lake to try try different techniques, including bed fishing and casting chatter baits. He was up for letting my boys try whatever they wanted to try and had the equipment ready so no fishing time was lost. Greg had us on fish very quickly, and we caught a number of very nice bass, including one over 5 lbs, a 4 lb fish, and several in the 3-4 lb range. Greg appeared to be more interested in our experience than managing the clock. We've fished with many guides and have had some experiences where the trip ends at a precise time to have the boat back to dock exactly at 4 hours. Greg continued to fish to try to get my youngest son one more fish before heading back. We also had a unique experience with Greg jumping into the lake to try to save a large female that was distressed, appeared to have trouble submerging, and kept "beaching" itself above the water on grass. Greg thought it may have been caught in deeper water and released in shallow water. He hand caught the bass to take it to a Texas wildlife officer to see if they could save the fish. My boys thought it was pretty neat that Greg cared enough about a single fish to jump into the lake. Greg's communication with us from time of booking to the date of our trip was also great. He was proactive in reaching out with information needed for our trip, time to depart, and directions to his property. He has a very interesting background (former Marine) and shared some stories during our trip - fun and interesting guy to be on the water with for a day. If you are planning a trip to Lake Fork, I highly recommend booking a trip with Greg. He also has lodging on his property if you need a place to stay during your trip. Immediately after our trip, my boys were asking when we could fish Lake Fork again, and we are looking forward to another fishing trip with Greg.

I would highly recommend Greg for your next fishing guide on Lake Fork. We had the most incredible time and caught some huge bass! Greg is a phenomenal angler, captain, and guide. We are already planning a trip to come back and fish with Greg again, as this became the best fishing trip of our lives.

Greg is a true guide that will go above and beyond to put you on fish. My fishing partner and I learned a great deal about bed fishing and even caught a money fishing during pre-tournament fishing. Greg showed us strategies to add to are tool box of options at the lake. We were grateful how much time he took to prepare us for the tournament. Already planning my next trip!!!!

Had a blast with Greg! I booked him for a day and night fishing trip. The boat, motor and electronics are mind blowing! He was extremely knowledgeable about the lake, the fishing conditions and many many different fishing tactics. Most importantly, we caught fish! Including a 21”, 6.1lb lunker!
