Amazing school, my family and me moved all the way here from the Europe, Croatia to send our son into this school. He love it, great professors, great environment, really nice building, modern and new. Five stars, and more.

I wish there was a way to give this school more than 5 stars... Engaged parents, and really great kids, nice campus with devoted staff that is both professional and concerned about the individual. I grew up on an island and there's a sense of community, it's clean, well maintained, and there are children from all walks of life there- Coronado is a wealty and sort of secluded area, but they reach out to the entire community through comprehensive programs such as the awesome Coronado School Of the Arts and they prepare the kids for life outside the "bubble" very well. There's easy access to the teachers, transparency and when there's anything at all going on which would concern a parent- Bing! You get notified right away. If you are on the fence at all, about where your children should be in High School, they will be surrounded by kids from all walks of life that do the right thing, many of these kids end up in great world class universities. They are by and large charming, articulate, and treat each other with the utmost respect.

Love this school. We moved here mainly for it, and boy have we been happy. It has its quirks, but our son is enjoying it to the max. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get the best education for your children.

CHS is a very well balcned school with an award winning Arts program and outstanding records in sports. CHS i one of the schools that also offer sailing, which by the way the team is amazing and the coach. CHS also has outstanding academic scores and almost all students go to college. CHS is proud to be in the city of such a luxury city of Coronado. Which is very honered to be a Navy town

This is now a dream school to attend to, they have so much going in this distinct blue ribbon school, it has a great arts program, it's own swimming pool and great sports program.

Food could be better and would be nice if they had more IT and Tech classes, they've got practically only 1. But it's a nice school.

About Coronado
City in California

Coronado is a resort city located in San Diego County, California, United States, across the San Diego Bay from downtown San Diego. It was founded in the 1880s and incorporated in 1890. Its population was 20,192 in 2020, down from 24,697 in 2010. Coronado is a tied island which is connected to the mainland by a tombolo called the Silver Strand. The explorer Sebastian Vizcaino gave Coronado its name and drew its first map in 1602. Coronado is Spanish term for "crowned" and thus it is nicknamed The Crown City. Its name is derived from the Coronado Islands, an offshore Mexican archipelago. Three ships of the United States Navy have been named after the city, including USS Coronado. source
