Apex Martial Arts Academy - After School Program and Summer Camp

Apex is a great place for your kids to go. Signed my daughter up a few months ago and she absolutely loves it. She was shy, quiet, and has lots of anxiety. Mr. King, Tyler, and Megan have had a big impact on her and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. Not only does Mr. King care about each & every child, he makes it a point to talk to the parents as well. He’s had a huge impact on my life in the short amount of time that I’ve know him. I really appreciate everything he does. I HIGHLY recommend signing your kids up!

I absolutely love apex martial arts. Not only do they go above and beyond for the kids but they truly work with them and make sure they are ready for the next belt. Ever since I signed my kids up, they not only learn self defense but they learn responsibilities, respect ,discipline and so much more. I'm forever grateful for them and looking g forward to grow with them.

Our kid has been attending here for multiple years now and she loves it everytime. We usually check with her at the beginning of the year just to make sure she is still willing to attend and she is always ecstatic. Mr. King and his staff are extremely professional and genuinely care about the kids and their progress. There are many dojos and academy in the area but this one tops the rest. Discipline is established early on and the reasons for it are explained and taught to the students as well. Cannot toot their horn enough!

I've been at this place for about 7-8 years now, and this is one of the best places to go. They, show you a ton of different kicks and punches, they treat you very well and trying to find a way for you to feel comfortable too. Then, they have a After School Program where you can do training, and go on field trips too, and if you really want a black belt you have to put in the time and effort to get one. So, If I were you I would recommend Apex Martial Arts Academy!

We love Apex! This will be my son's 3rd year in the Summer Camp program. Mr. King, Maddie and their staff are amazing. This program has taught my son so much with patience. Mr. King helped him so much with his discipline and self esteem. He is definitely not the same kid he was when he first started the program. Unfortunately we will be moving and he will not be in camp next year, but hopefully he will take the skills he learned in this program with him. Thank you everyone at Apex ❤..

2 years ago, i went here. I was a student for 7 years. Mr.King, Tyler, and Maddie were awesome. They would try their best to make the space comfortable for both them and the students. Mr.King helped me get through some challenges in my Martial Arts skills. Apex Martial Arts has a great after school and summer camp program. I would go every year. Sadly i had to move to Tennessee. Once in a while i will get a memory of summer camp and class and it would make my day. I am 12 now meaning i started when i was 5. I have come a long way. It is not easy to move on to the next belt. At some academies you do one kick or punch and you get a belt. But here, We are to try hard and work for our belts. That's what makes your effort and time put worth in this Martial Arts Academy!

I cannot say enough great things about Top Dog Martial Arts! My son has been attending for about 3 years for after school care and summer camp. It has made a huge improvement in behavior and academically. He loves the activities and I love that not only are they provided after school care but also exercise and a sport for my child. Miss Maddy is always smiling and pleasant when we walk through the door and Mr. King always makes sure you are aware of your child's progress...After all this time, we really feel like family!

Miss Maddie always has a warm welcoming smile and Mr. king is always great at taking the time to inform me on how my son is doing in and out of class! Professional, friendly, respectful are just a few words to describe top dog. My son has only attended summer camp for a few short weeks but I can already see a difference in his mannerism. They always have fun adventures planned and do a great job keeping the kids happy/ busy!!

Both of my boys have been going to Apex for over a year. They attend the after school program and summer, spring, and winter camps that are offered. My boys enjoy the Martial Arts program and have learned so much in a year! The King family is sweet, caring, and show genuine love and concern for each child that participated in their program. If you are looking for a an after school program that goes above and beyond I Would highly recommend Apex!

We love Apex! My son is so happy coming here after school and has learned so much, he is young and I was hesitant to let him try out Martial arts, but I definitely picked the right place for him. Melissa was attentive from the very get go. Mr. King is the best and you can tell he’s been doing this a long time!

Provides great supplemental discipline to my parenting, yet keeps my kids entertained and in great physical shape. This is a family run after school and summer/school break camp that also teaches taekwondo along with all their other fun activities. My kids have both attended for years and I've seen a lot of improvements in their discipline. They pickup after school, teach them an hour of taekwondo, provide homework assistance, and give them a snack. Hours are great for busy working parents. The facility is always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Best of all I know my kids are always safe with them and that puts my mind at ease! Love you guys!

The owners are the kindest people and that means a lot to me when choosing a business that will be teaching my child, looking after my child and caring for him. I trust them 100% that they will take care of my 6 year old during summer camp and I have zero concerns about his safety. He is learning so much about martial arts and is LOVING it. The place is very clean and and again, I can tell they focus on the kids. The first day I picked him up, they knew his name. He’s not just “one of the kids that go there”. They actually took the time to get to know him. They update me daily on his achievements. And they helped me out and helped make it possible for him to attend camp. As a single mom, laid off from covid, the struggle is real, and they went out of their way to make it so that my son could attend for the summer. I will continue to recommend this place to friends and family. I am beyond satisfied with Apex and greatly appreciate the effort they make each day to ensure the safety and well-being and advancement for my son. We will continue taekwondo after summer camp. Go see for yourself and you will see what I am talking about right away.

I cannot say enough about Mr. King & the staff at Top Dog! After only 4 weeks in the program, I am receiving emails from school regarding the noticeable behavioral changes being seen in my 12 year old! The positive influence, family atmosphere, and self-discipline skills are just a few reasons to consider Apex for your child!

I worked for them for awhile and I absolutely loved it! It is like a family. I would recommend the school to anyone and I look forward to sending my daughters there! It is very structured and the children learn discipline and respect. All of the children look up to Mr. King like a father figure and he teaches them so much.

My grandson has been attending for 3 years. It has helped him tremendously with discipline. The summer camp they keep them active. Very diverse field trips every week. Highly recommend!

My Grandson Kaiden (11 yrs old) went to Top Dog camp this summer from Rhode Island and loved it! Ms. Maddy, Mr. King. Mr. Tyler and the whole staff made him feel very comfortable and loved especially coming from another state and not knowing a single soul. The purpose of him attending this camp was to learn to respect others and himself. We feel with the guidance of the Camps staff this was achieved . He loved it so much and made new friends and memories that he can not wait to come back next year!

I can't say enough amazing things about this program! I put my 5 year old daughter in the summer camp this past summer, not only did I get great child care but my daughter came out disciplined and proud of HERSELF for all of her acheivements that she worked hard for. From the moment my daughter and I stepped foot in the building they helpped me instill respect and confidence in my child.
As a single mom, its hard to always be the disciplinary. My daughter was giving me a run for my money, disobeyed and was disrespectful often. Within days of starting camp my daughter was a completely different child. She became more respectful, more disciplined and more proud of herself. She is so excited to show off her new skills she learns and lights up to tell me how well shes doing and when she earns a new strip on her belt. She has also become more excited about school and other sports. She begged me to keep her in the after school program at Top Dog!
I couldnt be more thankful for Ms.Maddie, Mr.King, Ms.Morgan and all of the other great positive influences within this program.

The experience that my 3 kids receive here is unparalleled to anything they have ever experienced. The confidence this has been built in my kids; the respect that is instilled in all of my kids for there peers, and adults...a true life-changing experience for my kids, and my family.
