Chester Washington Golf Course

This was my first foray into Los Angeles golf and I had a great time.

My experience was elevated by the staff who offered me an earlier tee time since I was a single. They also watched my luggage as I’d just gotten off a plane from the great state of New York.

Also hall have coyotes on the course?!?!

The fairways well well maintained and the greens were solid.

Pace of play was decent. My round started a little after 8 and I was done by 12.

I will definitely be back.

Very nice place to through an event. We did a celebration of life memorial for my mother in law and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful during and after the event. I highly recommend this location for anything from a party to an intimate gathering.

First time playing the course today. Overall, the course was well kept. The bathroom along the course and at the clubhouse were clean! The range gets crowded but the typical.

Super fun track. Greens are small and run fast. POP can get slow with back ups at the par 3s. I would advise avoiding twilight play, the quality of play degrades after 2pm with hacks cutting in and out of holes and people picking up your golf ball trekking two fairways over. FFS.

Well Kept golf Course- Pro Shop AM Employees are amazing- I had been coming here for the past 6 months and by far one of the best 18 Hole Courses in the Southbay Area. I see people writing negative comments on how long they wait for a cart. My advise is to man up and be patience. Its a public course and stop being entitled. To all the employees thank you for maintaining this place with the budget its giving. Keep up the good work...

The staff are very friendly and the course is excellent.
The management of the green and fairways is so good that you can't imagine it as a public course. It is the most well-managed public course nearby.

Chester Washington Golf Course is one of the nicest golf courses around my area. First and foremost the employees are top notch. They are friendly and do everything possible to accommodate every golfer. They just want to give everyone a chance to play. The course itself is great. Sure there are some rough patches but overall it is excellent. The driving range is good but it's hard to judge distance because of the mounds on the range. The putting and chipping greens are good too. You can play the back 9 at a 9 hole rate but only before 7 am. I will definitely be playing more rounds here.

My new favorite place to his a quick 9 or full 18 holes.. It has a little of everything. The holes are definitely unique and some are very interesting with large bodies of water, long fairways and nice greens! Started by going to hit a few buckets one day and I liked it soo much that we booked a tee for the following Friday. I'm very happy with how this course is ran. I have since become a member and I love all the perks that come with it! Daily large bucket of balls! No cart fees after 1pm ½price cart fee before that. 1 free beer every time you play the course and 25% off from the pro shop! Too good of a deal!

Best public course in Southern California. Workers are nice and smiles a lot, and their services are better than other courses.
You should play hot summer times here and you'll experience the cool breeze coming from the ocean, I estimate at least 10 degrees cooler than other valley courses.

It is hard course! But a lots fun to play

Great practice facility , big range, they do allow practice on grass on Tuesdays. They have big practice green and separate chipping green.
my suggestion to avoid crowds is to play before 11 am or after 1 pm. they do have snack bar and separate bar area. Nice wedding lawn area! Big parking lot, what allows to accommodate the players as well the banquet guests and most of all friendly staff :) I enjoyed my time at the Chester.

I regularly get out for the back 9 morning special. It's nice. There are some dead spots and weedy areas but generally things are well maintained and the prices are reasonable, even if they have gone up recently.

My sister's wedding was held here. It's a beautiful venue! I have been to a few events held here and they were great! Beautiful ballroom, great bar and ample parking! Restrooms out dated but clean. Looking to book for my husband's 40th birthday party soon.

People at the counter are fast to get you going to ur Tee, greens were in good shape. The 2 lakes on hole 7 and 9 will get u nervous if ur a beginner and most likely you'll end up in the water. Really nice course by the way

Beautiful grounds and golf course that offer many unique spaces for a wedding, reception, or party. We were hired to coordinate and style a Prom Champagne Party. We provided full event decor, an "All You Can Drink" Beverage Station, Dessert Station, Photo Backdrop, etc for the event held in the garden of the clubhouse. The space is nicely surrounded by a natural 12 ft high hedge wall that provides for a picture perfect backdrop!

Beautiful golf course. The staff really makes the place. They are so knowable about the whole course. Soooo quick to assist anyone in any situation. Thanks guys, for making our visits so extra GREAT! Like Tony tiger would say!

New general manager, Brian, has added a whole new level to the service at this place. Friendly, welcoming, patient and quick follow up to any and all possible issues. WOW!

it is a Great place for especially young married couples to go out and enjoy and to do something different!!! trust and believe because my husband and i are in our 20s and we had a blast!!😀😀😀😀
