One of the best stores in LA and no hipster vibes here. Great used and new selection in all genres. Very reasonable prices and they pay fairly for collections. I have sold to them several times and never left unhappy. If you are looking for a new release that is not too far left field, they probably have it, or if not that, something else cool you might want.

Excellent record shop by LAX, definitely worth treating yourself to when dropping friends at the airport! Sweeten the ride! ;) Friendly staff, excellent selection, and a fun $.99 LP section worth digging through! Highly recommended!

Amazing record store. I’ve been there a few times and they’ve always been nice, and even have lowered prices for stuff. Great punk and rap selection. Cheap prices (the one dollar used CDs ones are always steals). They have vinyls, cassettes, and CDs. Stop by there, it’s amazing.

Just with a glance of front door, atmosphere inside, and types of customers immersed by music, this store instantly became my favorite in town. Well cleaned and maintained records are priced fairly. Bring your headset to the listening station.

Nice medium sized shop with a decent selection and a wide variety of releases not commonly found at stores this size. They sell new and used vinyl of course but they also have a nice selection of CDs and cassettes as well as movies. Staff was super friendly which made a first time visit feel more welcoming. Street parking mid afternoon wasn't that tough and the prices were pretty good. All things being equal, Supersounds is in my top 5 record shops in SoCal. Definitely worth the stop.

Cool little record, CD, and DVD shop in Westchester. Employees are nice and they buy from the public as well.

One of the best record stores I've been to. They have everything from Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey to Aretha Franklin and the Beatles. I never want to go any where else to by my vinyl.

I'm an avid Amoeba client, but it does have one downside: most of the truly great stuff rarely makes it to the bin, as people working there gets to pick first. That's why certain artists or albums you'll NEVER find in there. This is exactly where a place like Soundsations shine. Please don't be fooled by it's size, they have a great stock, very well organized and at good prices. Ammicable and knowledgeable attention. Make sure you have time to check the ,99 vinyls underneath and the cool Ts. I came out with a number of records I've been searching for, for quite a while, decently priced and will definitely be back every time I'm around. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of being number one in line during the recent Record Store Day. This store is very close to the airport and is one of the smaller stores in the Los Angeles area. Instead of the hundreds of people in line during the Record Store Day, this store probably had 50 or 60 people, which made the experience more pleasant. Instead of hiding the RSD vinyls throughout the store, they were all neatly place in a single rack at the entrance of the store. I called the store from across the country early in the day, and the employee who answered was very honest about promotional copies, hours, and how RSD would be conducted. The owner (Lee) met me at the door and personally pulled my primary choices prior to even entering the store. He also helped me find the Duran Duran offering behind some other vinyls, and boxed and taped it prior to transport by plane. Great experience! I'll shop there again on my next LA layover.

I have been speaking with Morris for years now and it was great meeting him and Lee finally. They were cool enough to take our stuff into the store and I will definitely keep them posted about our next release and any your dates nearby. As far as I'm concerned this is THE Place to get our music in LA.They had lots of vinyl(including rare finds) and I wish I was able to some back with me. They also had lots of memorabilia,patches,dvds, and even tapes! And of course some.guitar accessories like pics & strings.
The clientele was very cool too (one of them took this pic) and one customer even chatted it up with me and took an Imbolg sticker. We highly recommend Soundsations. Thanks again guys, Nate

Best small record shop we've ever been to. The staff is helpful and unpretentious and the selection is great (particularly for a rock fans like us). We bought a bunch of stuff and the owner took some of OUR new vinyl to sell enthusiastically. And even played his promo copy when we were leaving. Kudos!

Great selection of classic rock, R&B, Jazz. The guys there were great. They pointed out some excellent records I wouldn't have even thought of getting. Will need to come by more often. 👍🏼

Awesome record store!!! Been a customer since 1992 when they were on Sepulveda, they had their cassettes behind a locked glass case!! Great selection of Rock, Blues, Jazz etc.. The guys behind the counter are great, love this place, highly recommend.

I've been going to this store for 30+ years.
Always a great experience, great selection, whether vinyl or CD. Staff is great as well, helping find the album (or ordering from them). I always shop here before ordering music online.

I’ve been visiting this business for at least 20 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Three great guys run this place and through my teenage years until now they have always treated me the same. I often stop by when I’m in the area or drive out early in the morning to get a few records and I always leave with something whether it’s a new release or a rare record. To me this is a place that has earned my business for life. One thing I should do is learn the guys names because I’ve never asked. :/

Best Small Record Shop in All of Los Angeles! I've ben going to this store for about 24 years, and it had the same customer service friendly, intimate, knowledgeable, concerned staff and feel it did from day one. If they don't have it, and it exists, they can get it for you. This has always and will always be my #1 Source of music hunting and time wasting. Love this place and love these guys!
