Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa

Would stay here again. We were in town for a Vendor Food Show that was taking place at this resort. Our room was very spacious, clean, and the view was perfect! They have multiple pools, restaurants, and of course mere steps to the beach. I recommend making reservations for the steak house in advance, as there wasn’t any availability the 3 days we were there. All the staff that we encountered was friendly and greeted us in passing. The only negative I have, was in regards to the indoor bar/restaurant area. I expected this level of resort, to have bartenders who would know how to make a simple staple drink, such as a traditional old fashioned, correctly; I was wrong. We paid $20/ea for 2 old fashioned that were absolutely terrible. We opted to leave the resort to go have drinks and grab dinner.

Great Hotel! Beautiful location. I had a room with a balcony. It was great to wake up to the sights and sounds of the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the help from shipping and receiving. I had some packages that arrived after I already check out from the hotel. Shipping and receiving immediately located the packages and work with me to get them sent to the proper address. Thank again for the help and thanks for the great stay!

We stayed here for April break & already planning our next trip back.
When my husband & I checked in Michael and the Manager Crystal were both very helpful during our check in process. My husband is a diamond member so we were upgraded to a beautiful room on the 15th floor. My mother in law was with us and our 2 kids and Crystal was right it was the perfect room for us . They both made us feel right at home.

The kids loved the bunk beds & having the extra space was just what we needed for our 6 day stay. Pools were great not overly crowded . Kids enjoyed the ice cream and the girls behind the counter were friendly and personable.

Everywhere you looked people were working on keeping the grounds and hotel clean and looking top notch.

The weather was amazing , the sand was soft like flour . We paid for the chairs and unfortunately that was our only negative . Chairs could be upgraded to more comfy ones and they were pretty packed in together . Not a lot of room between you and the next set of chairs. The chairs around the pool were very comfy and even though they were close together there was not a lot of people using them during our stay so we were able have space. Only other thing we would recommend is implementing a flag system of some sort so that the girls on the beach or around the pool knew when service was needed . They were busy so sometimes it was hard for them to make their way down to you . But once they did it was fast service and they were great .

Overall we loved our stay and will be coming back again .

A weekend trip for my birthday turned out to be nothing short of amazing. Everything was perfect.

We stayed in the premium king beachfront with wrap around balcony. The view was out of this world and the water was so close. The room was clean, restaurant had good food, and we loved the lava flow drinks 🍹 staff sent me a text and checked on us during our stay 😊

We will definitely be back!

I have to say for what we paid for the room the stay here was not worth it. Don't get me wrong it's an absolutely beautiful place and so fun to be at. But the price is just ridiculous. The bed almost felt like we were sleeping on plywood. The temperature in the room could never be manageable it was either too hot or too cold. It did take the staff quite some time to answer questions that we had. Our stay here last year was much better but the view from the room we were in this and last year was gorgeous.
When we go back next year we will be renting a vacation rental. We could have gotten a five-bedroom right on the beach for what we paid for a hotel room. Not to mention the food in the restaurants was super pricey and not that great. However, the sushi was amazing. Drinks in this hotel are out- freaking- rageous! For three drinks we spent over $60 which is just stupid. But I guess if you have that kind of money and you want to spend it on drinks go for it. I will say they are delicious.
It is a beautiful place to stay. Just expensive. I do however love the gift shop. It's fun and they always have such cute things. The lady who is there and runs it has been there for like 20 years. She is super nice and we just love her.
If you want a massage and you want to spend the amount you would for a car payment... go for it.
The pools were always packed and so were the hot tubs. Damn near impossible to find a place to sit on the deck.
Mostly disappointed in the guests and how they treated this stunning beach. Come on people pick up your damn trash!

FINAL UPDATE: I spoke to the Director of Guest Services, Mr. Robin Bailer, and I cannot speak highly enough of him and his customer service skills. He took the time to go above and beyond his job duties to verify some issues I was having, and solved everything I needed and more. I cannot express how grateful I am for that.

Follow up Edit: I’ve been trying for 3 successive days to contact the accounting manager, Spencer Atkinson who is apparently the only person able to fix my charges, but I’ve been avoided for no apparent reason. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to try and discuss charges that should’ve never been incurred. Weirdly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever personally encountered anywhere. Be sure to check your bank account history once you leave this hotel, disappointing that it needs to be mentioned.

The hotel itself is nice, but the overall customer service we encountered was very bad. We were charged for things like valet that we never bought or used, and then on following up with the hotel that we never used these amenities, they took multiple days to follow up and tried to argue with us. No proof was ever given that we ever used it, and I still haven’t received a response from the hotel how exactly this happened. We likewise purchased beach view rooms and weren’t given those rooms on arrival, afterwards being initially accused of lying when speaking to the front desk until we provided a receipt verifying our purchase.

The overall customer service experience was just not good.

Beautiful hotel, great staff. Helen and Fynn at sandcastles were so amazing they took care of our large group several times throughout our stay and were so kind and helpful. All the staff was really friendly. Rooms are very clean and spacious and comfy. Food was great, their pizza is amazing as is their sushi. Love love love this hotel

We had an awesome time at this Hilton. The people were nice, the rooms were nice and our overall experience was nice. It was a chilly this week but people were still in the pools and water on the beach.It was very organized and it was plenty of places to eat.We took the tram over to the village each day and spent time over there as well..

We stopped for 1 night on the way back home to Texas from Orlando. What a treat! I absolutely loved the place so much so we extended our trip 2 nights!!!…. we got a family suite with bunkbeds for the kiddos.

Kids love Breakfast buffet downstairs, sushi for dinner was incredible.

We visited late February-Early March and it was a chilly and rainy day out. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and movie theater.

Something I would like to see improve: The outdoor pools need to be heated at all times during winter season. Pools need some love. They look dated.

All in all, this resort had me in all my feels. Beachfront + family friendly + good food + clean rooms+ good service = SOLD. We are going back this summer. 🙏

Celebrated our 35th anniversary and truly enjoyed the staff and location and the beach. The food at Sandcastle restaurant was excellent. You can actually stay on site for meals. The ice cream is very good too, at shop by the pool. We will definitely be going back. #Sheppards

This Resort Hotel is so beautiful. Our recent stay was flawless. Everyone on the staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. From the front Desk to Housekeeping. The Valet and Bellhop went above and beyond to service your needs. The room gets 10 Stars. It was wonderful.It was very clean, and the shower and sink was spotless. I love the bathroom setup. There was a vanity sink area outside the actual bathroom. The bathroom had a tub and shower, which I like. Our room number was 444, if you can request that room. Our room was oceanfront and overlooking the pool. Great balcony. Easy beach access, you can request chairs and umbrellas on the sand. There is a Serenity Spa for treatments. You will enjoy your stay, I highly recommend The Hilton.

A wonderful place to stay while enjoying the Gulf of Mexico from Destin, Florida!
This is our first stay at this resort and the refurbished rooms are nice and spacious. Firm beds, soft pillows (boooo!), a view of the ocean, as well as great service. April is technically an off-season so I can imagine it is not as "fun" when it is full during the summer months. While there is plenty of food to eat in the resort... a good variety of food if lacking. I love to try different foods when I travel and this area is not for the foodie, unless you go high-end or you prefer American cuisine.
Overall, a great place to stay with children if it is in your budget.

This is one of the best Hilton Hotels we have been to. The buffet breakfast was amazing, service is great and housekeeping was top notch. We stayed in double queen room and the sofa has a pull out bed. Our room is overlooking the sea, which is amazing! The self parking is free. We paid daily resort fee of $40 which is understandable. The beach front is once of the cleanest we have been into. The only downside was the front desk. Front desk didn’t explain that the cost of breakfast will be $30/adult and kids eat free. We were surprised that we got the bill upon check out. I got billed even though I’m a gold member.

My wife and I had an excellent weekend getaway from the time we drove up until the time we left. Our experience actually started before we arrived. I spoke with Jessica before arriving who gave me great input on the rooms, amenities, when construction renovation would be going on and made suggestions. When we arrived, I was greeted with a smile from Patrick the bellman and offered to park my car and take my luggage. Emily checked us in and ensured out check in process went smooth and she very informative let us know what to expect during our stay with renovation work. After Patrick brought up out luggage, we look at our amazing gulf view room. The room amenities were what we needed plus more. We ordered food every day from Sandcastles and the food was great and friendly servers brought us our food each time before it was promised. Even thought there was renovation going on which included people working near our room it did not take away from our overall experience. On the last day when I was in a hurry to check out, Kayana at the front desk and Crystal the front office manager both were super helpful and proactive to get me taken care. Heath the bellman topped off our experience with some friendly conversation as he took out luggage to the car. I HIGHLY recommend this place! We will be back!!

This is by far the Best Resort Hotel that we have ever stayed at, and we have traveled all 50 states. We started staying here in 1990 and have come back every year since. We stay there 6 weeks each year now that I'm retired. They have a private beach area, two large pools, very large rooms with beach view, nice bar and restaurant area inside off the lobby area. The employees here are the most professional and friendly that you will ever encounter. I highly recommend this Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort!!

Beautiful location, close to Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard. Excellent service from Danielle (beachside service 🍕🍹), Shawn and John at the poolside restaurant/bar, Suzy in concierge was amazing as well. We splurged and ate at Seagars (excellent service Jeremy and Paul). My hubby surprised me with a spa service (Rebecca-amazing massage, Amara - beautiful manicure). Friendly room attendant (Leslie)! We loved the room, the view, the excellent service all week. The only problem during our visit was at the pool bar/restaurant for lunch one day. I have food allergies and the server was not willing to communicate those allergies to the chef/kitchen staff because they were “too busy”!

A room with a view and the sounds of the Gulf of Mexico. Stayed here for a couple of nights this past week and I’m glad that we booked this hotel. The staff was amazing and the room was spacious with a great view. They are doing some renovations right now but the upgrades look amazing. This location is on my list of destinations for later this year.

We had a wonderful trip, our rooms were clean, spacious, and the view was amazing (both sunset and sunrise ocean views). The best part is having beach access within a 2-3 minute walk, and plenty of attractions and food options really close by. This location made our special day all the better

Just remodeled with great rooms. New restaurant with added pizza feature. Area by pools has new features. Of course the beach is one of the in the world's best. Very family oriented. Service as always is excellent.

The hotel is in a renovation. It is nice already. Very clean. Rooms are a good size. The beach is beautiful. White sand and clear water. The staff was friendly.
If I could change anything it would be the food selection.
I ordered several items for room service. The only thing that was good was the pie. I had to order Doordash. There are plenty of good places. There is a Ben & Jerry's Ice cream right outside the property.
Overall great, but food needs updating.
