They have everything for those who miss their motherland and for those who are curious about the Ukrainian food. Although it’s always a gamble, I got the best red caviar there, and will return for more! Staff is always helpful, will recommend things if you are unsure about something.

So happy we found this place! The people are very friendly, and they have the BEST German Ham, and smoked bacon!! The desserts are awesome. We actually turned into the plaza to turn around. My husband who is German said look at this shop. Glad we turned it. Well worth stopping in!

This is my go-to Russian store. They have the best and most authentic products. A lot of this stuff I grew up with and can't find anywhere else in the States. When you go, I reccomend getting at least a few kilos of pilmeni and some real Russian sour cream. They have great kielbasa and other cold cuts and the sweets are amazing. I only have time to go there maybe once or twice a month so whenever we go we stock up on everything. Would reccomend to anyone and their mother. Russian food is very underrated so come here for a taste of the east.

Best kept secret in Albany! European style delicatessen with reasonable prices. Fantastic quality and taste overall. Going by memory they sell farmer's cheese, sauces, cakes, pickles, bread, cookies, sweets, tea, coffee, dumplings, kielbasa, sausages, fish, cheese, caviar, all kinds of cured meats, Russian Ukrainian Polish-style food, and more. All by either European or boutique brands not available elsewhere in Albany - closest places with similar selection are in Brooklyn. The place looks rough, but don't let that spook you - it's the food that matters. If you are a foodie, this place can be a great find for you.

Friendly owners, great kielbasa and other meats. Lots of candies, cookies, baked goods, pastas, etc. Nicely stocked store.

An authentic Eastern European Deli for sure, with lots of home-made goodies to bring home.

It is a family owned business through and through so you get to meet the managers and give them your support, compliments, or suggestions face-to-face, which is always nice.

I had been a loyal customer for many years, first at the store in Albany, then in Cohoes, and even later, right near my house, in Latham.
I love many ethnic delicacies offered there.
The owners know me, remember my late mother, ask about my dad, who is almost 90.
Why am I writing in the past tense?
Because they do not wear masks!
Serving many elderly and infirm clients the owner and his college student son were working the counter without masks. I had already spoken to them about it about a year ago, but nothing changed.
So a few days ago I was craving a specific desert for my birthday. I selected several desserts... and ended up walking out without buying anything!
I told the guy why.
Very disappointed. And angry.

The store is great. Lots of russian and ukrainian food. Inna and Slava are wonderful people. I buy "halva" and "grechka" here. But one could choose among many treats, dishes, canned tomatoes, deli and sweets whatever they like!

I love that this little store is family-owned. I feel like I am right at home with the selection of products especially because they also have some items from my country Bosnian.
