House of Poolesville

I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again

So my daughter and I was out exploring driving around 😂 we decided to go to Poolesville I use to actually live there years ago anyway we saw the Barr house approval so we decided to go and boy I tell you we had a blast I've never had so much fun at a bar.. Well be back here on Thursday Haley the bartender was amazing ❤❤ I had her in laughing so hard we met quite a few people left their to go to another bar across the street and I was even better... I stole Billy's hat 🤠😂😂😂 someone let me Barrow their glasses 🤓😂😂😂

I had the fried beef, it was absolutely delicious, the band playing was the train wreck five and they were fantastic!!! Overall a great time with great food 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Chinese food around. Very popular with the locals. I can recommend the moo goo gai pan.

Great food all around. I mostly get the sushi and their soft crab is a hidden gem! And if you want a little American thrown in there try the cheese steak egg rolls!!! Fun!😋

A nice spot to catch up with pals is the pub. The cuisine was excellent. The staff at bars are quite welcoming, and they will let you know right away if your drink is emptied.

This place is a great find. Seating indoors and outdoors, large outside area, pool bar great food, great service, reasonable price. Bonus Points for having indoor and outdoor plants. Also sushi!

The interior is a bit drab and cheap but the food is out of this world good. My mother and I come here every other week to try something different from the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Fresh food and expertly made.. sad that the quality of the food isn't reflected by the interior design.

The General Tso's chicken here has a nice crispy batter. Very satisfied with the quality of their Chinese food. They also offer Thai and Japanese food, although I haven't tried those yet.

Ahop is literally the littlest establishment in this town. Bartenders are lovely and generally amazing. Drinks are thicc. Crowd is cool, nothing else you could need.

1st time visit. I was out of town so googled nearby places. HOP popped up and i was in the mood for some asian cuisine. Ended up getting the Singapore on the lunch menu. Very impressed w the food. But what stood out to me was i left without checking my bags. The man who waited on me come running out the door with a bag telling me a didnt have my egg roll. I was impressed. If Im in the area again i will be back and highly recommend eating here

Don't be fooled by the atmosphere. Great Chinese dishes!

Best sushi you'll ever have

Went here on the way to a haunted attraction. Good food. Interesting set up. Sort of an Asian restaurant/ sports bar. Everyone was very nice.

Great experience Fresh Hot Food that taste amazing brought it home easily with a well packed meal. Delicious food anytime

Matt Veillete is a loser and wasn't there. Otherwise the food was amazing, the service was perfect, and the company was great! Lisa give great recommendations!
