Pythian House Cottage

We had the amazing pleasure of hosting our daughters wedding at Pythian House!! Everything and I mean Everything was perfect…. This is a magical property!! Absolutely gorgeous!! The owners Laurie and John are not only delightful but so very present and helpful during the event. Where do I even start with this place? It's absolutely beautiful! We performed a wedding there and it was just breathtaking. The staff there was top tier and the hospitality was something we were not used to. As DJs we are usually confined to a hot bathroom or some awkward changing room when we need to get ready for the show. Laura, the owner gave us a room with a bathroom, shower, and couches. Talk about hospitality. She made us feel just as important as the bride and groom. They work with VERY specific vendors and they also treated us with great respect and dignity. It was so relaxing and made the job of performing a wedding easy. I can't say enough about this place except I really am looking forward to working there again with such an amazing team of individuals.

Photos do not do this place justice! This place is truly magical. At first I was thinking about calling it a perfect wine country retreat but you are nestled up in a valley and it's truly a sanctuary. My wife and I enjoyed a light breakfast on the back porch every morning utilizing the full kitchen with an assortment of coffee and tea available. You are nestled between the city of Kenwood and Santa Rosa making it ideal for touring all the different regions of Sonoma and the Russian River valley. we were here for a wedding on the property and it was truly magical I highly recommend it and I know my wife and I will be going back again.

Beautiful grounds with trails, unique stone paths, lawns, ponds with koi, stream, bungalows, owners live on site. A venue for weddings and other celebrations.

This was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been to!! And owners are very lovely people 😊 I was very excited to be there!!!!!😀
