The Depot Dog

Delicious hot dog with great southern style chili like mama used to make! Love the coleslaw on top of it as well. I got the Depot Dog with Monk’s chili and a side of potato salad that was also excellent. Nice, friendly service. Price is right, too.

The Depot Dog was great. The sides of Cole slaw and chili were very fresh. And service was prompt and polite.

Good dogs, great service, fair pricing, open air picnic tables were perfect. My dog and I went hiking on the banks of 12 mile creek and then got hot dogs. I ate two, she ate one, we both enjoyed them. LOL

Great hotdogs and service. A little chilly sitting outside when we were there but there's no indoor seating.

They probably have the best hot dogs in the Upstate. Definitely worth checking out. Sides are a little small but very good. Their potato salad is excellent! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It’s been a year and I wanted to update from my last review. I recently re-visited The Depot Dog, and here are my thoughts now.

The food was still amazing. Fragrant, savory and unique are the primary words that come to mind to describe the flavor of the hotdogs. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and their professionalism at face value was definitely present.

While we were able to get a parking space fairly quickly, it would have been nearly impossible had we arrived only 10 minutes later. Only 5 other vehicles showed up besides us and the parking full. There have been many times before that I just drove by even though I left the house specifically to go to this establishment. My decision was solely because there was absolutely no parking.

The seating accommodations are fantastic. You truly get a great feel for the community being seated at picnic tables in the fresh air.

All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend The Depot Dog to anyone looking for a great meal! (If you can find a parking spot).

Have been wanting to try this place out and Im glad I did. Try out the "Central Dog" and you won't be dissapointed.

Awesome dogs and even better customer service! Doordash left off part of my order. I called the restaurant because they were closing in 10 minutes. Someone from the restaurant drove my order to me! That is the way to do customer service. You have a customer for life with me!

If it weren’t for Door Dash, I would have missed out on this true gem. I am overjoyed that I’ve now discovered it. This food tastes so good! Definitely have a customer that’s gonna order at least once a week. Thank you for the love you infuse into every bite. You can tell that making this food is a passion. Wow!

Experienced their hot dogs for the first time last week. Let me tell you I 100% had a moment, not just bc they were the best I've had in a long time but bc the chili reminded me so much of my dads I literally was crying tears of joy and heartache while eating.... I will forever appreciate those types of moments...and will gladly take the smallest most craziest things that remind me of him like your chili.... thanks you guys for that moment (pretty sure it was Monk's chili not sweet Amanda's). 🥺😍

This food is some of the best food in town. I ended up getting what they call “The Train-Wreck” which turned out to be the complete opposite!! I couldn’t get enough! Everytime I told myself it was the last bite I found myself going back for another! The owner is a down to earth townsman that knows how to run a business! PLEASE GO TRY THIS PLACE OUT!!

I am 62 years old. And I have had my share of hotdogs all around the u.s. especially the Eastside of the u.s.
And I tell you right now that the hotdogs 🌭 at The Depot Dog is about the far best hotdogs in the town of Central.

Stopped by and tried a plain hotdog; it was absolutely delicious! Went back and ordered more!

The dogs are great, the sides are great, and the value can't be beat!

I am addicted tried to break the addiction but can't. Love the loyalty card so when it gets close to full have to go.and I like the minks chili and the depot dog and get extra pickles.

This is a great place to get hotdogs there chiliis homemade. Nice little place to sit outside. My husband loves hotdogs but is very picky he loves this place !

Best hot dogs around. Fun spot for all ages! We are lucky to have this in Central!
