Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

These people are so nice, but the first thing that caught my attention was Howell, fresh and clean. It smelled on the inside. We got there shortly after it opened. The atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was good and so was the food.

hidalgo’s is always a joyous time! they give free queso & great service in a good environment. We have tried a few things (tomales, quesadillas, flautas) and always been happy!

the price is also reasonable!

Victor is the best server, he kept our drinks full, always asking to see if we needed anything else. The best friendliest service and delicious hot food. Sam the manager stopped several times to check on us and the other patrons.

This place is all about the food, service, and atmosphere. The food was excellent. Chips were delivered to he table with salsa and queso before I even ordered. Got the chicken enchiladas plate and it came with rice & beans. Also included were flour tortillas. All food item were done right, were priced right, and overall filled me up. Service was super good. I was asked where I wanted to sit and shortly afterwards the waitress arrived. She was helpful, courteous, and friendly. She kept my tea full and made sure the food was good and asked if I needed anything. The atmosphere and decor was very nicely done. They had bright colorful murals on the wall with current Mexican and historical notables. The music they had in the background was also nice. The upper walls in the front had big screen TVs. I very much enjoyed all aspects of dining here. 👍

They are always fast with the food! It surprises us how quick our meals come out each time. We enjoy their tortillas and set up a lot. It’s neat they give lots of options for sauces. The servers are friendly and the food is always consistent. One of our favorite places to go.

This is our favorite place to come to eat all days of the week. We walk in and Sauo already knows what we want , we are always greeted and hugged by several people when we come, never seen any of the workers in a bad mood!
Gio is always checking on us not just our food but how we are and how our week has gone. Feels like we are with family every time we come! The white cheese sauce is amazing!!!The food is amazing! The atmosphere is even better!😁

Came in about an hour before they closed. Food was great service was amazing. Was really refreshing as my gf and I tend to not have to best food experiences. Maybe we are picky but hey this was my first time and definitely will not be my last, 5 stars!

Best Mexican restaurant in Moore. Super fast service and great customer service. They served a queso with their chips and salsa from sit-down. Homemade tortillas. We ordered bacon-wrapped shrimp, it was delicious. Drinks were strong. Just love the best!

On 12.27.23, we celebrated our families' December birthday's here. We called ahead as we had about 30 people. We were seared quickly, and orders were taken after drinks were situated. We were assigned 1 waiter, and he had a couple of helpers. Our food was very good. We just had 1 mishap with a food order buy was quickly taken care of. I love their food. We all had great drinks, a great time, and our birthday peeps had to wear hats while the Happy Birthday song was sung. Thank you for taking great care of us.

Went for my friend’s birthday dinner. Drinks were great, food was great, and Gio and Antonio were amazing.

Went in on a snowy day for the first time and was treated with the best customer service! Our waiter, Angel, made suggestions, helped customize our order and was attentive. The GM, Gio, also visited our table and made our cold, snowy day a delight. The food was perfect, flavorful and well presented. I had the nachos (always a test for me to see if the basics are good!) and they were amazing! Will definitely go back!

The staff are super friendly and professional, and they make sure your visit is a great one. I highly recommend the chips and dips to start - they're delicious! Nakita was our server and she was friendly and attentive. First time here and love the environment. It's so colorful and full of life! Food was great. Lunch specials were good prices. I had the taco salad, loved the crunchy shell very fresh. My husband has the quesadilla, he loved every bite. Borrocho beans were good and the rice was flavorful.

Best service and food around!!! My guest and I was greeted upon arrival and was seated promptly, food and drinks came out in a timely manner and absolutely yummy! Both gentlemen named Giovanni were amazing, they made sure everything was perfect for my friend and I as well as other patrons, I witnessed Giovanni making his rounds to every table making sure people were satisfied! I loved the interaction they have with their customers. I even picked up on my Spanish skills. I will definitely be back for their yummy food, amazing drinks, anddddd outstanding customer service! Best dining out experience in years! My 45 minute drive to this restaurant was definitely worth it! I will be back with my family and friends. My wife and I stopped in yesterday (3/25) as we haven't been to Hidalgos in a while so we sat at the bar. The menu has changed. A new offering is the "De La Casa" bowl which I ordered. It was well presented and tasty.
I may have missed it but I didn't see the senior menu or the Hidalgo beans on the new menu. As always, the staff are friendly and the kitchen is fast. The mugs holding the Pacifico are still ice cold. It's always great to see our friend Armando.

Rene was our server this evening. He was so accommodating, nice, friendly and made us feel valued as a patron. He recommended a seafood dish and I absolutely loved it! I will refer all friends and family to this location and request to have Rene as the server! He is indeed the best!

We had a great experience at Hidalgo’s! Giovanni, the manager was so accommodating for our big party. They opened a room just for us to have space for our big group. The food was great as always. We ordered the fajitas and they were fresh and delicious. Also, the service was outstanding. Kelly, our server, was very attentive and friendly and anticipated all of our needs. We will be back soon!

It looks like a normal strip mall restaurant but the inside is colorful and has a very open layout. When you first get seated, they bring fresh homemade chips, salsa, cheese sauce and soft tortillas. I ordered a perfect Margarita, and the presentation was absolutely amazing with diced up fresh Watermelon and limes in a beautiful glass with seasoned salt around the rim. The cocktail was absolutely perfect, the bartender was super friendly and quick. My food came out within minutes of ordering, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. This is Tex-Mex at its finest. The staff is extremely friendly and quick to respond to your needs.

I don’t normally leave reviews unless the place is bad lol but I wanted to give this place some credit because so many restaurants are just 2-3 star average these days. This restaurant is delivering on all the key points. Prices were completely reasonable and average, My entrée was the same price as a fast food hamburger meal at most places. I don’t live in town, but every time I have to work in the Moore area, I know where to eat now. There are a bunch of options in the area, but not many of them are highly rated and my past experiences at other places were meh like an Italian place that looks like a 90’s diner.
