Lakeside Fire Campground

We found this place because it was mid point for us and friends we have in St. Paul. We started going to here in 2021 and have gone a couple times each year since. In just those two years I have seen many improvements done. New electric, water, and sewer at most sites. The big pond. A community fire every Saturday. Activities on most weekends. Lots of new BIG sites. Some of the biggest I've seen in the 30 years I've been camping. It seems that they are putting a lot of time and money back into the park and the owners are very friendly and easy to talk to. This was a big reason my wife and I decided to go for a seasonal site here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. As other stated the speed limit is a tad low, but I got used to it very quickly and it is for safety. I can't wait to spend many weekends here in 2024 and years to come.

Great RV park with lots of stuff to do, especially with kids. Sites are huge compared to most RV parks. Lots of room between your neighbors. They have fun themed weekends planned throughout the season. Would definitely plan to come back for an extended staycation.

Property is really nice. The loft cabins are super nice! Have to clean up after yourself and bring your own blankets, but the rates are super low and include the swim pond and pool. The small lake is more of a muck lake but does have bass in it. We did not have time to rent a row boat to get to a clear area though. They definitely are fussy about the 5mph which is hard to do in the golf carts without them sputtering, but staff was never rude and are obviously doing it for the safety of all the little kids running around. I think they should up it to 7mph though :) Inflatables were in good shape. Will return next year!

We had a very nice 3 day stay at this campground. It was our first time out with our new camper and it was fun. Very clean and well designed campground full of family fun. The staff was so helpful and friendly! We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful amazing park that is extremely well taken care of.
Everyone is friendly, and if you need anything very helpful.
The pond with the inflatables is amazing.
Sites are nice size with a nice yard.

Best Family campground in Central Wisconsin. Many activities on weekends for the entire family. Entire campground and amenities kept very clean making it a most enjoyable stress free stay. Highly recommend

I was just there to work on a new deck for a permanent camp site but from my past experience of camping there the current owners have really went above and beyond for cleanliness of the facilities, accommodations , plenty for the guests to do and keep the young ones occupied, love the new pool area ...definitely will refer this campground to my family and friends..

We booked a site back in April for the 4th of July holiday weekend. We arrived about an hour early which we knew check in was 2pm. They allowed us to check in which we were super thankful for as we needed to get set up and leave for prior arrangements in town. We were escorted to our site to find out that the previous camper from the week still had their fifth wheel camper in our site(check out is 11am). The campers were nowhere to be found. The office attempted to call and email them with negative results. The staff quickly gave us a makeshift site which was previously an old seasonal site. They brought us a fire pit and stocked us up with firewood for the weekend. Later that evening, The campers arrived back from fishing all day thinking that they booked to check out on Saturday which was not the case. Even though we did not get our booked site(not trying to pack up, move and unpack again) we made the best of it. Joe and all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy all weekend. This was our third time camping here and we will always continue to come back when we are in town. Our kids enjoy all the amenities and planned activities. The bathrooms are clean and there's always hot water. Thank you Lakeside Fire Campground for providing us with the most amazing family memories. We aren't usually resort campground campers, but we enjoyed our visit. The bathrooms were clean and, despite there being many people there, it was very quiet. It was very hot on our weekend, but the pool and beach were not overly crowded so we were able to stay cool. We did pay the lock fee because we were camping with friends, so that was a bummer of an extra expense, but not a huge deal. Overall, it was family friendly, dog friendly, and quiet. The sites were large and will have plenty of shade in a few years when the trees mature.

Have camped here multiple times and always have a blast. Lots for the kids to do and for adults as well.
The inflatable pond was pretty fun.

We rented the Doe cabin. It was very clean. We didn't have any noise issues. We thought it was a very nice campground and the lady who greeted us was very honest. Everything she requested from us seemed reasonable. The cabin was gorgeous and very clean. A/Cs kept the area cool. People were very friendly. We will definitely look to staying here again next time we go that way.

I loved the pool set up. It's not your usual box in the ground, it had features and a slide. Very fun.

My kids and I stayed here mid-May. They range in age 5-9. We had a great time, stayed in one of the new cabins, and had everything we needed inside. Just had to bring our food and bedding. The Saturday night campfire was a wonderful bonus!

Very nice campground. Owners are great. Very helpful. Kid friendly. Had a lot of activities for children. Dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the golf cart parade. We stayed a week. Good prices. Will definitely stay here again.

We are on our 2nd stay here. The new owners are awesome. We absolutely love all the new updates. Big selection in the camp store. Lots of bounce slides in the beautiful pond. We will definitely return to Lakeside Fire Campground.

Lakeside fire campground is the best campground in the area of Nekoosa And Wisconsin very awesome people are so friendly and they will help you out anyway they can

I think Lakeside Fire Campground is one of the best campgrounds I’ve ever been to!It has a pool, pond, jump pad, volleyball net, gaga ball pit, mini golf course, 2 playgrounds, and lots more! I definitely recommend going to Lakeside Fire Campground! Everyone is so nice here, and they have many activities to do on the weekends! I also really enjoy playing bingo with family and friends! They also added a pond this season and many brand new sites! And the new owners are really welcoming and nice!

We stayed last weekend for a quick getaway to open up the camper and make sure we were set for the summer of camping. The place is great and you can tell that the new owners are really working hard on all the awesome improvements they are adding to the campground! A biggie for me, the bathrooms were very clean! It just seemed like everyone was so friendly and having a great time. Kudos Lakeside Fire!

This Campground is an amazing
Child friendly, lots of fun safe activities to do, and to top it off the speed limit is 5 miles hr. The employees are very nice and respectful. Look about a year ago I went to Lakeside fire with my now wife but then girlfriend, and I learned about her as well as myself. The way the sunset and sunrise hit the lake really brought in that romantic feel. Just saying. But overall this Campground is way better then you regular ole KOA, This is Definitely a place you go once and wanna go back again. You can go fishing at the lake or go swimming at the pound/pool. They also have bonfires every weekend weather Permitted. By the way very Veteran friendly. Look I’m just saying from my experience with campgrounds which is a lot, from hole in the Campgrounds to KOA’s Lakeside Fire Is very much my favorite. So if you don’t go your missing out.

This is a great campground. Lots of amenities with the great outdoors. Price is right, owners are great, staff is the best, facilities are clean, and there is do much to do. Pond with water obstacles, lake with canoeing and kayaking., Fishing, pool, jump pillow, Gaga ball, mini golf, and so much more. Come roast some marshmallows. See you there

Very nice campground with lots of activities for kids. Our kids 5 and 11 had a blast in the swimming pond with inflatables and in the pool. Bingo, train rides, nice playground, and great cabins. We will definitely return.

Owners are very responsive and involved, which is great to see. Lots of fun activities for the kids, too.
