Wesley did an amazing job with my golden retriever 7 month old puppy, Finn. Finn is now able to walk next to me with leash on ground and is not reactive at all. He even stays on "place" commands until I release him. This is not typical for 7month old puppies, but Wesley put the time and work with him and Finn is now amazingly trained. Wesley is super responsive and helpful at any time of day! 100/10 recommend him to any person looking for training. (Plus he taught Finn some party tricks that are so fun to use)

We feel so fortunate to have found Wesley. We adopted a 2 year old Brittany and knew we'd need guidance training him.
Wesley squeezed us in quickly and we were on our way.
Our little guy was never taught that play biting wasn't a good thing so by the time he was 2 he really was chomping hard whenever he got excited. Now it's just these soft little expressions and soon I can tell we'll be past that.
He's taught us how to get Diego to walk on a leash like he's a show dog. It's amazing the transformation that's happened. We feel so grateful that we met Wesley.
We hope to adopt a second Brittany in a few months and we have confidence that we could do so because we know Wesley will be able to address any undesirable behavior.

We adopted Balashi (Lashi) from Aruba in 2021. Over time she became very people and dog aggressive. We couldn't take her out or anything. Last year she tried to "kill" another puppy we adopted. We put her at an in-board training facility for three weeks. She was kicked out after a week with the trainer saying she was "untrainable". We were devestated. After an incident in December, we decided to reach out to Wesley to see if he could do something. He promptly came over to assess Lashi and he thought he could help. We did a five week package and he came over once a week. Yesterday was our last day of training. Guess what? Lashi has changed so much and feel confident that she will be a "normal" dog. Wesley did an AWESOME job and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend Wesley and Good Daweg. IT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE! Thank you Wesley!

I have been grooming Wesley's dog Rusty, and I've noticed his talent in training. He builds trust effortlessly with dogs, and his clients always rave about him. Wesley is straightforward, easy to communicate with, and punctual—qualities I value as a service provider and customer. I recommend him 100%

Wesley helped trained our two dogs, and we are so happy we found him! He is amazing at analyzing the dogs' behavior and pointing out why certain issues happen, what needs to be corrected, and how.
He helped us establish a great relationship with our anxious and reactive adopted beagle and helped teach our corgi puppy some obedience and leash manners. The transformation from the moment we dropped off our pups to the moment we picked them up was incredible! And Wesley gave us so many great tips, corrections, and advice on how to maintain the new skills.
We love that he is such an advocate for responsible dog ownership and shows not only how to help dogs become "good dawegs" but also how WE can become better owners.
He is great at listening and asking good questions, he is extremely responsive and all around wonderful to work with. We cannot thank him enough for all his help and always recommend his services.

We had a great experience with Wesley with Good DaweG! He did a 10 day board and train program with our 1.5 year old stubborn pup and worked wonders. He was patient, consistent, professional, and attentive throughout her stay and she made unbelievable progress in her training. We got regular update calls, texts, and photos from Wesley during her program so we felt at ease the entire time. Plus, he regularly posted videos of her training sessions online so we could follow along. Don’t hesitate to trust Wesley with your dog—we 100% recommend him!

My husband and I cannot say enough about Wesley. He took our Aussie that wanted to jump on everyone, play too rough with our grandkids, bark and want to play all the time, and was just too much to take out anywhere with us and turned him around in just 15 days. Merle now listens to what we are saying. He’s calm, respects commands, and is a totally different dog that we can take places with us. Wesley is hands down the best.

Where do I even start….

Wesley was recommended by my boyfriend’s coworker when she saw him looking for trainers. We have a springer spaniel puppy and were having a difficult time getting him to walk well on a leash and stop jumping on people. After a consultation, we decided on a 15 day board and train. This was a difficult decision as I am not the most trusting when it comes to leaving my dog with people. We came every five days for a lesson with Wesley and our dog. We saw progress every time. He taught him (and us!) so much beyond manners and leash walking. I’ve had him home for a bit now and the strategies that Wesley taught has have been invaluable. I don’t wake up dreading walking him anymore. He’s become amazing at following commands. It has been a lot of hard work and will continue to be but Wesley laid such a good foundation for us. That was especially important to me as he is our dog and has to be able to translate the skills from trainer to owner. No trainer can put in the work that an owner needs to do following training as there is no magic wand. Wesley will tell you what your dog needs and help you and your dog achieve those goals. I highly recommend Wesley as I feel like he has given us our dog back. He communicates well and often when the dog is in his care and I was very impressed by that. Although I saw this as a worthy investment, his prices are also competitive. We researched other trainers as well. Overall great experience with Good Daweg.

Taking my GoldenDoodle to Wesley at Good Daweg was the best decision I could've made. My GoldenDoodle, Waylon, went to Wesley for a 10 day board and train. In that short time, he learned how to walk with a leash properly, sit, down, place, recall, and even some cool tricks. This was absolutely amazing considering Waylon was a complete mess before visiting with Wesley. 5 star service and I will always recommend bringing your pups to Good Daweg!

Our dog River recently spent 5 days for board and train with Good Daweg and our experience and results have been just amazing. My 75+ lbs dog now confidently jumps in and out of the car, walks stairs, remains on place with little reminders and is a joy to bring around social settings. It’s been a real transformation for this hyper and anxious dog that was used to following his impulses. We had previously done a 6 week program with PLD in Houston without much success. What they couldn’t accomplish in 6 weeks, Wesley was able to do in 5 days. We will continue to book training with him to strengthen our dogs confidence and our skills to guide him correctly! The best part - River loves his trainer - and the dogs he was boarded with!

Gus my 2 year old spoiled golden retriever had little to no training prior to bringing him to Good DaweG for a 5 day board and train.
Gus would not walk on leash without constantly pulling, definitely no heeling or staying in place. When I went to pick Gus up he was doing all those things and doing it really well. When it was mine and my wife’s turn to take over the leash Wes was patient and very clear with all instructions on how to go forward. We have been doing what WE have learned daily and every day gets better and better.
We highly recommend Wes, he has a true passion for what he does and it has been a pleasure learning from him.

First off, WOW!!! I sent my 10 month old Mini Aussie, Riley, to the 13 day board and train program at Good DaweG. She went in as a totally crazy pup with zero manners, and 2 weeks later she was a completely different dog! Wesley did a fantastic job of updating me regularly while she was in training by sending me text updates as well as video updates. His love for dogs and passion for training truly shines bright! When it was time to pick her up, Wesley insisted that I bring my 9,11, and 12 year old children so he could teach them how to continue her training at home so she wouldn't lose what she had learned. He worked with each of them individually, until they fully comprehended all of her commands.

Fast forward to today, one week post pick up, Thanksgiving was last week, and we celebrated... A lot! She was around a lot of new things and old things, she was tested and tried, and she did wonderfully!! She has learned over the last week, that she is no longer allowed to get away with things that she once was before training. It is so wonderful having a dog who I can take anywhere and have the peace of mind that she will listen and do as she is told at all times. Thank you so much Wesley for giving my home some peace!

I was referred to Wesley by a friend and I’m so happy to have met him. We did a few private lessons and a 5 day board & train for our miniature Sheepadoodle. I could not recommend enough!!! From the moment he met our dog, he had an impact on her. The 5 day board & train really enforced everything that we had been practicing during our private lessons. She came back so well behaved and he taught us how to continue what she had learned into the future. We get compliments all the time on how well behaved she is!!!

Wesley is extremely professional and communicative. We got pictures (attached to the review) everyday during the board & train, as well as an update phone call at the end of the day. I felt very safe leaving her with him.

We highly recommend Good Daweg!!!!

Wesley at Good Daweg has been working with my dog, Arya, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing.

Arya struggled with impulse control, reactivity, and fearfulness towards other dogs and people. She struggled to settle, and she had no off button. Wesley's expertise and tailored approach have made a world of difference. Arya is not only more obedient, but she has gained significant confidence, making our walks and playtime a joy instead of a challenge.

The private lessons at my house have been invaluable. Wesley's dedication to Arya's progress is evident in every session. What sets him apart is his commitment to not only train the dog but also educate the owner. I've learned so much about maintaining Arya's training daily, and it has made me a more confident and effective dog owner.

Wesley's patience is truly commendable. He has taken the time to understand both my dog and me as an owner, adapting his methods to suit our unique needs and how we learn. The outings he organizes for practicing impulse control with distractions have been particularly beneficial. Never did I think Arya could come with me to a crowded place and stay engaged with me and not be fearful and disruptive, but she has learned through Wesley’s training approach how to follow my lead and use her brain to make good decisions. Arya's progress during these outings has been a testament to Wesley's skills as a trainer and the foundation we’ve built throughout our lessons with him.

I wholeheartedly recommend Wesley at Good Daweg to anyone seeking a balanced and effective dog trainer. The positive impact on Arya's behavior and our relationship is immeasurable. Thank you, Wesley, for being an outstanding trainer and mentor. I am so grateful for the positive changes you've brought to our lives!

Wesley trained my 2 year old labradoodle, Cooper, for 18 days. He provided some sessions where I could visit and watch/learn as he worked with her. She came home in a calmer and more disciplined space. Now it is up to me to maintain the great work Wesley began with her! I completely recommend Good DaweG. Wesley is great with dogs; extremely patient and knowledgeable.

We’re so grateful to have found Good Daweg. When other training failed we had found ourselves with a highly energetic, impulsive, and very reactive 70lbs puppy that we couldn’t confidently take on walks, or anywhere else where we’d encounter dogs or people.

Then we found Wesley! After just 1 class with Wesley we recognized immediate improvement in our dog River’s reactiveness and our confidence in handling and guiding him calmly. We have since seen constant improvement that has balanced our dog, deepened our pet-owner relationship and built trust. Instead of being scared of new situations and encounters while out and about with River we now can’t wait for new challenges to see him thrive and grow. Wesley tailors his program to your immediate needs and works on optimizing daily life with your dog by adding structures, routine and detailing a clear plan to follow for best results. We’re lucky to have found him and can’t recommend him enough. And the best part our dog just loves lessons with him.

I found Wesley and Good DaweG through a Google search and so happy that I found an amazing dog trainer! He trained my new rescue Leo, through his board and train program. Leo now knows how to heel and leash walking is a breeze! I love the fact that he brought me in and gave me lessons in working with Leo and his big sister, Kaia. On the hand off day he also worked with me and got me so comfortable with walking Leo at Home Depot. Wesley provided constant updates through IG. Not only did he earn Leo's trust as a trainer, but he earned my loyalty to train any dog that I will ever have in the future. In fact, Kaia will be going through some tune up training as well and I will continue to have Leo go through follow up training. Also shout out to Taylor, his assistant trainer who was also awesome. I felt so comfortable with her and Wesley training Leo! Leo is a trained Good DaweG now!

I cannot thank Wesley and Good Dawg enough! I’ve known Wesley for years but we live over 1k miles apart. I was so excited when he launched Good Dawg and knew he would be extremely successful! I was right!

Wesley just made a trip back here to Colorado and Oakley, (our 1 year old GoldenDoodle) was fortunate to have Wesley spend some time with him! We have a changed dog! Wesley is full of positive correction! His ability to connect with Oakley and modify his behaviors in a matter of minutes!

The number one issue with Oakley is his jumping on people! Working with Wesley and utilizing the leash, he was able to redirect his energy to comply with commands. It wasn’t long before Oakley was walking side by side without pulling me! Wesley teaching me how to work with Oakley cannot be understated! Next we worked with the kennel and calming Oakley before he can exit the kennel. Lastly and most importantly, Wesley gave us the tools to continue to train Oakley to be the best companion we could have!

Hands down Wesley and Good Dawg are the best! Thanks Wesley

Wesley is fantastic and I highly recommend his dog training service! Our two doodles, who each have very different personalities and training needs, took to him immediately. They responded to him from day one, and he catered to each dood's unique tendencies in order to get them to do what he wanted them to do. Even more importantly, he trained my husband and me so that we would get the same results. It has dramatically changed our home life with our sweet dogs. Nelson and Nash give GooDaweG a huge paws up!!!

I recently rescued a pit mix from the shelter. He is a sweet dog but over time developed some bad manners (jumping and nipping due to curiosity and excitement). Our walks are not great either. He pulls and get very fixated on things. I live in an apartment complex in close proximity with people. I dread taking him out and even started developing anxiety each time we go on walks. My dog Remy is not food motivated so it was very difficult to train him. Wesley did a great job with Remy. I did the 5 day program and our walks are so much more pleasant (like night and day). He heels by my side now and sit when I ask. “Leave it” has also been very helpful as he is curious with everything. Those commands made a world of a difference on our walks. Seeing more structure in my dog (which was needed) really gave me more confidence as his owner. It was a great training experience for me as well, I was able to reflect and correct what I needed to change. I am very thankful for Wesley. He is a honest person. During the training he kept me informed on the progress through videos and phone calls. Active communication which is very much appreciated. I am very glad to have an effective trainer and someone I can trust for any future behavioral problems my dog may encounter. Thank you Wesley, you are amazing!
