Great choice tonight. First the place is extremely clean inside, the service was excellent and the food fresh and yummy. The pupusas are huge and we couldn’t even finish everything we ordered. Loved the cream warm beans and cheese they brought out to dip chips in. Will definitely be coming back.

07/16/23 UPDATE *from 3 to 5 starts ☆☆☆☆☆
I ordered takeout today. We got pupusas, and they were sooo good! The tomatoe sauce is great!. Its so rich and chunky and just perfect! The cabbage is so good, too. We loved them. We'll be back!

I was very excited to try this new restaurant in town. My husband and I both LOVE pupusas, so we were very excited to try them.
The pupusas were ok, not as good as I had hoped. At first, we only got pupusas with a little cabbage. We were wondering if they were going to bring us the tomato sauce, which is usually part of the dish. I wanted to ask about it, but the guy serving the food wasn't coming to our table or near it for me to ask. We almost finished our drinks before the food was served, so when we were about halfway done eating, we were out of drinks for a long time. And the guy didn't come to check on us. Finally, I was able to flag him to come over and ask for more drinks and more cabbage and asked about the tomato sauce. He apologized about not bringing the tomatoe sauce from the beginning and brought us a bottle of what it seemed to be "tomatoes sauce," BUT it was not close to being or tasting like a tomatoes sauce. It was very greasy and odd consistency.
The highlight of the meal was the Tamarindo drink.
We got chicken nuggets for the kids, and we think that the prices for the kids' meals are too high for what they were.
I understand the restaurant is just opening, but the service needs to improve so much more. Be attentive to customers and check on their tables. We hope to be back on another occasion and hopefully see some improvement.

Great tasting Pupusas and definitely worth the $5 for each. I wasn’t expecting that size and it was delicious. I didn’t want to eat inside since it’s a nice day but the place was nice and I’m sure the service would have been great.

Everyone was super friendly and nice as soon as we walked through the door. The food was absolutely amazing. The pupusas are huge! We ended up not eating them until 2 hours after we got them, and they were packed so well that they were still hot! Heck everything was a perfect temp to eat. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked well. The baleadas asada was really good, as well as the platanos and the pateles de carne molida. Everything was GREAT! We will most definitely be returning.

Ordered 3 different pupusas to go - bean and cheese, squash and cheese and beef. They were all fantastic and the red sauce and pickled cabbage that came with them were to die for! Will definitely be going back for more!

If you’re in the area do yourself a kindness and eat here! The service is wonderful. The coleslaw esque side dish is refreshing and packed with flavor. The pupusas con pollo were well seasoned and fresh. Fried plantains with frijoles were so good we ordered a second plate for the table. I came here with my family and now I go anytime I’m close. It’s a very family friendly environment. I wish we had this kind of establishment in my neighborhood. This authentic El Salvadorian food is worth the drive to Taylor, Tx!

Another win for Taylor's growing culinary scene! A friend and I ate here yesterday. We had the yucca and some pupusas. And I had the pollo guisado and she had the beef empanadas. All of it was so delicious! Our waitress was super sweet with helpful suggestions on things to try. I will absolutely be a frequent customer.

I love Salvadoran food. And while I've had better pupusas these were good! The real star of this menu is the entrees though anyway. I had the pollo guisado a cheese and squash pupusa, and a lot of some of the best frijoles I've had in a long time. Service was.on point especially for a Sunday night in TTX. Great food all around. Great to have a few more tasty options in Taylor.

We came here for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back three times. The food is excellent and the whole fish and papusas can’t be beat. One of our favorites.

Pupusas were DELICIOUS! The margarita pupusas were my favorite Husband had the Carne Asada plate and though the steak was cooked a little more done than his liking, the flavors were perfect. Excellent service. Space feels like they were still growing into it. Can't wait to visit again and see what they do with it.
