Senshi Grill & Sushi

I am not the person that will try new and interesting things without some prodding from friends. I am extremely happy I went here. I had the Beef Don (at least I think that is what it was called). It was extremely good, I ordered it with fried rice instead of white rice and the fried rice base was better than any I ever had. The beef and vegetables with some kind of sauce was excellent.

I really enjoyed the meal but the server was fabulous, attentive and helpful with deciding what I would like. She was extremely engaging and entertaining.

I will eat there again.

Had birthday lunch with my dad here and we got the Firecracker roll with Salmon nagiri, and Shrimp hibachi to share. Everything was amazing. I reccomend sitting at the bar because Barbara who made our sushi was very nice. If you're tall enough you can see her making the sushi. We also got the Green tea which was very tasty and came in these little cups with a pitcher for us to share. The Firecracker roll was not too spicy and the best sushi roll I can remember ever having. I don't know what soy sauce they use, but man it was very good too! Definitely use chop sticks to handle the rolls, a fork just feels weird. Last thing, the shrimp in the hibachi plate was to die for. I'll be thinking about that shrimp for a long time to come.

First thing you notice walking in, it has a very chill vibe. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was on point! Presentation was fantastic and quality was great! Kiera was our waitress, she was very helpful and informative. We ordered the tuna tower as an appetizer, it was delicious! Made perfectly and so pretty. For entrees we ordered the shrimp hibachi, the vegetable fried rice, and the firecracker roll. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. We'll be back try more on the menu very soon! The price is good especially for the quality. The chef came to the table and asked question because we requested no sesame seeds on my husbands meal, to ensure he didn't use anything that could be an issue to the safety of my husband regarding allergies. Highly recommend!!!

I had an outstanding lunch with a friend of mine here today. Not only was everything we ordered absolutely delicious and fresh but you can't beat the atmosphere, from our waitress to the owner who takes the time out to speak with this customers about their experience making the rounds at the tables. You don't see this kind of TLC in many small restaurants very much anymore and I for one certainly appreciate the effort. Extra little thanks to meeting my new friend who also kept a close eye on how our table was doing and making sure we were happy....just like his Dad. We enjoyed talking about race cars and motorcycles. Well done ALL around y'all, next time I'm bringing the rest of the family. Thanks so much for the great experience! 🙂

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had! Do yourself a favor and just go there right now! So fresh and everyone is incredibly nice!

Where do I begin!? We had excellent service from start to finish! We found this place based on the good reviews and decided to make the half hour trek to give it a shot. The service was fantastic and the sushi was amazing! After we left, I realized I had a flat tire. After hours and nearly a half dozen people trying to assist with removing the impossibly tight lug nuts from my tire (as well as the roadside assistance person), the owner of Senshi happened to be out by his car across from mine. He asked if we needed help and ran to get his tools. He saved us! We had already planned to return for the good food, but this is now our go-to spot and we look forward to our next of many future visits.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was amazing and had great flavor. All of the servers and staff were very friendly.

Hibachi and Sushi in Spring Town! Who would've thought?

Food was great! I got the Gyoza, Spring Rolls, and Waygu Fried Rice! It was all super hot and tasted really good. Zero complaints. The staff was attentive and even apologize for the food being late because they were busy. It was not that bad. It was all made fresh and not premade. It was worth the wait.

Thank you to the staff for smiling and saying "Hi" to my over year old grandson that was with me. Not needed but appreciated because it made him laugh and smile.

Keep up the great work! I'll be bringing my family back next time!

Really nice restaurant, my grandma and I enjoyed the food a lot. We got the chicken teriyaki and steak teriyaki. The place was totally packed but we still got our food pretty quickly and every person working there was super nice and we were checked on multiple times. One of the owners came by as well.

When we arrived they did tell us upfront that sushi was a 1 hour wait - but this was the night that Azle had no water and all the restaurants were closed, so Springtown was busier than usual. They were definitely super busy and had a ton of workers helping them to feed everyone as quick as possible.

I love BBQ as much as every Texan but it’s great to finally have some variety in Springtown lol.

Also, If you’re not a fan of fish taste, you can ask them to not put any “hon dashi” in the fried rice. I’m weird and super sensitive to fish flavor, but everyone else enjoyed the rice a lot!

Great food, the sushi rolls, shrimp fried rice, and the Don. Will definitely go back. The picture is after we already ate a little off the plates.

Thank you Senshi for bringing some great Asian food to Springtown. Had an order of the egg rolls and got the Waygu steak fried rice. Both were excellent. Wife got the teriyaki rice and was excellent as well. They also had some great unsweetened tea. Had a live band they were very good. Service was great.

Hands down the best food in Springtown, Tx. The sushi was amazing and the steak so tender. Love the family atmosphere also. Would recommend 100%.

The food is AMAZING !! and the Wagyu Teriyaki is life changing. The staff and atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. Totally has become our number one date night place to go.

Brought my wife to senshi for the first time and I was blown away! The food is better than most sushi places I’ve been too and the staff are just great. Our food was a 5/5 and it came out quickly! We will definitely be coming back!

I have edited my review to 5 stars. The service and quality of food have been exceptional for many return visits. Honestly this is by far the best sushi I have had a local restaurant.

Honestly, the food has been very good, but this last experience was not. We waited an hour and a half for our food. The chicken was very dry and had been sitting for probably the majority of our wait. The fried rice was pretty cool as well. Even the sushi, which up until recently was good, did not taste the best. I’m mostly disappointed in the customer service. I was told to come back in 15-25 minutes after I arrived. I returned, waited 25 more minutes, then left without much communication from the waitstaff. The hostess even acted annoyed that I was back to pick up my food. While I really wanted to enjoy my experience, I unfortunately completely regretted ordering food here today.

This family knows what they are doing!!! From greeting you at the door to sitting you at the table. We went for dinner service on a busy night, and man, o man, we can't get enough.

This is just a really nice restaurant- the food is great, the place looks great, the staff is super nice. Spend your money here so they stay around!

Update- we go to this place pretty often because my spouse likes the tuna tower, and I get the pork egg rolls- they are some of the best I've gotten from a restaurant. Last night we went out for our anniversary, and came here. I had the chicken friend rice, and it was freaking amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. Eat this food.

We love this place!! One thing we both noticed is that the shrimp were perfectly cooked, which many places don't get right. The sushi is also excellent. I'm so happy to have this option in springtown!
