I had bought a coffee table from Pottery Barn costing $2276.69 with shipping and taxes. My house is under construction and thus the table sat packed in it’s original box in storage past the 30 day return window. When we did open it, the color of the table top wood is way different than what it shows on the website. I have natural wood floors as you can see in the attached two pictures of my living room. I had bought this table thinking that the color of the table top would match well with the floor. However in reality, the table top is grayish colored.

In the website picture that I’m attaching, you could see that the individual wood planks are a touch different in color from each other. That way you could see some variation and it appears natural. In reality, you don’t see that. It seems that all the wooden planks are almost the same grey. They seem to have been painted grey on top.

This in no way is worth the investment of $2276.69. This table from a distance looks ordinarily made with either grey colored plastic or with lumbar yard wood painted grey on top.

Message to future buyers "Don't expect the quality to necessarily be higher just because the price is. The customer care wont do much about it."

I tried twice to schedule the free design services with Tuscan Village store. The first time the appointment was cancelled without my knowledge and never followed up on. The second time they contacted me shortly after using their scheduling application to schedule another appt to advise that the time I chose would not work at all and was not available. Then I was referred to PB kids in mass instead, which is nearly 2 hours from my home and I’m 6 mos
Pregnant. Awful service!
