Penelope's Lil' Cafe

I’m not from the area and it was nice to find a small restaurant that served alcohol with breakfast. Bloody Mary mix was House made and delicious with just the right amount of spice. Had biscuits and gravy and eggs it didn’t disappoint. Very friendly staff and would definitely come back again.

When it's a "Lil" Cafe, it really is small. Very tight seating. Definitely need to plan when you go so its not during a rush. Great food though for an affordable price. Biscuits are fluffy, hashbrowns are crispy, super delicious.

Lovely breakfast spot. Good food at good prices. Full of local folks chatting. Great service. Treat you like a local even if you're not.

Cute little place. Staff was very nice. Food was really good. Very filling. We got there just after 7 so it wasn't too busy yet.

Meat combo omlet with hash browns and white toast. Green salsa nice addition, fine without. 2 fried eggs , side extra item. Very delicious!

I've been to Penelope's several times. I am never disappointed in the food or the service. Sometimes parking is a little short (a testament to their good food and service!) Prices are appropriate. I usually need a take home container. Coffee is good, which is not something you can say of all Lincoln restaurants and definitely something I consider when choosing where to dine.

Great little breakfast spot. We stopped in and had biscuits a d gravy and the breakfast wrap. Both were very good. Food came out quickly and the service was great!

Food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly! Smaller space so it tends to get crowded and a bit loud, doesn’t bother me at all— just letting others know :)

The food is so good, comes at an affordable price, and is prepared fresh and quick. The staff has always been friendly, while also being speedy. Love a good weekend breakfast here! Thank you!

Fantastic food, with large portions. The staff is very friendly. My wife and I had breakfast at a cost of $23 and change. We were both "Thanksgiving full" and still left food on the plate. They are now on our list of great places to eat.

What a wonderful place. The coffee was fantastic and my meal was served quickly. I loved that they offer a nice little patio to sit outside and enjoy my meal. The last most interesting thing about the place are the giant bug statues made out of metal. They are definitely something cool. I loved my experience at Penelopes and will be coming back soon!

Our 1st time visiting this cafe and we enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The price was affordable, the waiter was very polite, and he made us feel welcomed. He was courteous, polite, had wonderful people skills, and was a fantastic person. Thank you!

Yea so this is an awesome place to eat some grub and the atmosphere is ideal for a place to eat at. We had Dee as a server today, she was super friendly and didn't hover but kept the drinks full for us (very important for me).

We ended up having the funnel cake french toast with eggs, hash browns, and a choice of bacon or sausage (team bacon here). It was amazing and went down quite easy, price wise I'm digging it as we spent like $11 between the two of us including the drinks.

5/5 will visit again when I happen by! (Before & after pictures of the food).

Me and my boyfriend started going here every Sunday, it’s incredibly affordable, amazing wait staff and the most amazing food. Absolutely love this place!

Penelope's has been my go to for years now. The food is great. And the prices are unbeatable. There is usually a little bit of a wait on the weekends, but it will be well worth it!

Fantastic lil cafe, food is fast and hot, they get people in and out, and the servers are always high energy and upbeat. Great place for breakfast

When a place is that full all the time You know it's going to be good. Other special of the day was chicken fried steak over hash browns and two eggs service with sausage gravy and toast ordered a side of bacon 🤤🥓 and their coffee was really good love this little cafe 😋!

Very friendly staff, quick service, hearty potions, full menu, and hot coffee. Couldn’t ask for more in a breakfast spot! 10/10
