Ocean View Restaurant

Thankfully we arrived early as the place filled up shortly after opening. Cute little place with friendly staff. We had never been here before and were quickly glad that we chose this place. Food was fabulous and you have to try the blueberry cream. Would like to eat here for dinner sometime.

If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here. Fresh ingredients and tasty food. The fries were especially good. My friend loved her B.L.E.A.T sandwich which is their special twist to a BLT. We also got a mini key lime pie to go. Staff is all super friendly and the menu has a great variety of breakfast and lunch offerings. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

My only negative is that it's a little loud because its a smaller space and crowded. However, if you don't mind that this is the perfect place! Delicious local food, super friendly people, and family owned. You can see the love and care that goes into this place. Charlie, the owner, is so nice and greets everyone personally. Our server was Ashley and she was top notch! Would definitely recommend this for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

This little gem is a must-dine while you are vacationing. We ate breakfast there and they did not disappoint! Great food, portions and fair prices. The servers were super friendly and professional and they would bring around beverage refills and basically check on each table. You didn't feel rushed to eat given the fact that there were people waiting outside. They are a well run, small diner. Ask for their homemade jelly!!

Lovingly operated beachside restaurant with delicious food & excellent service. Portions were large with reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Food delicious! Biscuits with strawberry compote, pomegranate mimosas, fried French toast with Nutella…. Prices good for area. Only complaint was that sink was outside of bathrooms, but not that big-a-deal! Highly recommend this establishment!

This quaint sweet place was wonderful! The staff was welcoming. The family pictures on the walls. Was nice and cool on a hot June day. The waitress told me to get the pork belly burger, and oh my gosh the red onion jelly was incredible! Others got fried shrimp, chicken, and avocado toast. Phenomenal service and amazing food!

We always dine here when we visit Kure Beach, it was so great to find out that family was back in charge of the Ocean View. Charlie was very accommodating and friendly and professional. We enjoyed the food and the pancakes are perfection!!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Ocean View Restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was fantastic . The staff were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The view, as the name suggests, was breathtaking. In summary, this is simply a great restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the ocean.

Charlie and the Crew always knock it out of the park with all the good food and service.

I knew this would be a hit when I read the menu on line, but the experience was beyond compare. The new decor is fresh, bright and welcoming- a real designer appeal. The food was beyond compare. The chef( Josh) really knows how to cook an egg, stone ground grits, fresh fruit, the fluffiest biscuit ever, and great coffee. The servers obviously love their jobs and it shows. This isn’t just a one off , it is a keeper!! Can’t wait to return.

Great little breakfast lunch diner. Menu is healthy and lite and has some classic fare. Wait staff is very nice and attentive. So, if you are in the Carolina Kure Beach area, stop and enjoy!

This place was amazing. As a southerner I know good grits when I eat them and these were the best I’ve ever had. All the food was amazing and the portions were huge. The staff was friendly. We will be back.

Been coming to this spot for years and of the past 3 in this spot, Ocean View is our favorite. Still great quality diner style breakfast with a lot of added brunch style updates. Also had some alcoholic drink options which is very exciting! Great vibe and new look, still great home style service. It was packed and we still feel like we had a great experience.
