I am very grateful for the beautiful job that Colonial Construction, Luke Downham, and his entire team did in the complete replacement of my soffits and guttering. The roof was also replaced, and I am very grateful to Sarah and John Andres, of Andres Roofing, for their expertise.

Colonial Construction replaced a bay window/door in my kitchen leading to the deck. Bret was very professional and also patient with my decision making process. The man who installed was fast and didn’t leave any mess behind. Bret followed up quickly. (Follow up is something I place a lot of value in because very few companies that have done work on our house have done any follow up or thank you.). I will definitely refer this company and use them again.

It was finally time to update / replace the original Masonite board siding, porch pillars, soffit fascia and gutters on our 50-year-old home, so we had received 3 quotes to just that. The quotes were all very close in price and after reading reviews on Google as well as reaching out on Facebook as well as Next Door (App) we decided to go with Colonial Construction. From the moment Bret and his crew showed up, the process was extremely professional, and honestly, we felt like we made new friends throughout the whole construction process. Colonial Construction has been in the construction business far a good length of time and it shows, from the care Colonial took for repeated trips back as we decided on colors and styles for our new siding to helping us locate trusted and honest vendors that assisted with new outdoor lighting and painting existing outdoor fixtures. Very hassle free, not needing money up front to start work was also a very assuring feeling that you are in good hands. In the end, the house looks fantastic and we are beyond pleased, feels like we have a brand-new house when we pull up. We have also had very kind comments from passers-by about the how nice the house looks now which shows how well the final product shines. Thanks to all the Colonial representatives for their work and dedication through it all, we cannot say enough good things and highly recommend them!

I contacted Bret from Colonial Siding. He came by the next day and gave me an estimate for the job. The installers were able to start on the project the next week. They replaced siding, soffit, facia, and gutters. My house looks the best it has ever looked. The installers were friendly and they were careful around my landscaping. They took their time and were diligent about replacing some of the rotted original wood. I felt as though the installers were working on my place as though it was their own.
Bret was on the job site several times just to check in and to answer my questions. They were on time and did the job exactly as I had wanted and cleaned up thoroughly. They even returned without me asking to finish caulking above the garage, a spot that Bret had noticed on his final walk through. I have already recommended Bret to several others. He is honest and reliable. By the way, I had several other companies bid on this project. One came out and never followed up with a bid, another company never even showed up to give the bid. Bret made this entire process easy !

We have utilized the services of this company on 3 occasions. Each of our experiences have been stellar! They arrive on time, presenting themselves very knowledgeably and professionally We have had our soffit and fascia, gutters and gutter guards, exterior doors, and windows installed by this company. All work was done perfectly and in a timely fashion.But most importantly you will never find a more friendly and honest company! We would never consider any other company to utilize for all of our needs! Five star work and staff!

My husband and I have used their services for siding, fascia and gutters on our own home. The work was completed in a timely manner, and Bret and Luke also kept us well informed of the schedule and of what to expect. We contracted with Colonial Construction to replace 15 windows in our 83yo house and could not be happier with our decision. Bret was patient as we researched and selected our new windows, even coming back out for a follow up visit with product samples. Brett and his team couldn’t be more professional. Colonial Contracting offers responsive customer service and delivers an outstanding finished product. They gave me a fair bid and with their expertise, the right solution to fix my gutter issues. The install was done professionally by one guy (I think his name was Herald?) who got to work right away (and has many years of experience!). We worked with Luke for new exterior siding and windows. Luke was very responsive, helpful, and answered all our questions. He kept us up to date on the work being done each day and the timeline. They got the work done in a reasonable timeframe, they were respectful of our property, and did a great job! It looks like a brand new house, we love it!

We had storm damage that resulted from a large limb impacting our garage and tearing off the gutter and downspout and a section of siding. Brett was easy to work with and listened to our concerns about the repair and kept in touch as we waited for the roof to get repaired before Colonial could begin work on the gutter and siding. Seeing the work after completion I think they did an outstanding job and did everything we asked for. Overall is was a positive experience and we are pleased with the outcome.

One of the best contractor experiences I’ve had in a long time. Luke was extremely professional, answered all of my questions and never made me feel like I was part of a sales pitch. I had a siding problem. Colonial Construction installed brand new siding quickly and for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!!!

We just had gutters and guards installed by Colonial. Bret was very patient with our questions during the initial consultation and responded quickly with follow up questions without any pressure. The installers, Harold and Laurie found rotted wood after the gutters were removed and made the repairs. Bret even dropped by when the rotted wood was found to confirm which was unexpected. We appreciate that Harold, Laurie, and Bret care deeply about the quality of the work and don’t rush as Harold had to come back the following morning to finish installing the gutter guards and cleaning up.

Hiring someone to work on your house can be stressful when they are not responsive or don’t care about quality but Colonial makes it easy. We look forward to working with Bret and Colonial in the future when we get a new front door.
