Gray's Mill Estate

So glad we found this place. Great outdoor areas, and the food was fantastic! Drinks were excellent as well. Service was quick and courteous and we were well taken care of. We will certainly be returning and trying some other items off the menu in the near future. Adults and kids all left full and happy. :)
Update: We have come back another time or two and still have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

Went to Grey's Mill for dinner .. had the fat boy and cream of chicken and wild rice. Sat outdoors in the back. Very relaxed ambience and decor. Food was good and our waitress very polite and friendly. Due to short staffing and being the only waitress , she still took care of us. Will definitely come back.

The view of the river from the patio was absolutely lovely. Twinkle lights to boot.

Danny's Beef was the best beef sandwich I've ever had. The meat was so flavorful, one slice of cheese was the perfect amount, the bread was fluffy and crispy in all the right spots. The put the juice on the side, but the meat still had some moisture to it. I like mine on the drier side so this was perfect.

Their french fries were also on point!

The place had been busy with Oktoberfest so they were juggling post-festing with hosting their later guests, and they did phenomenal. Positive attitudes abound.

I went yesterday, I want to go back to tonight. And again and again. Thank you for a delicious time!

We will definitely be back, the outside atmosphere out on the river with some fabulous food, drinks and live entertainment. We had the best time here!!! Dog friendly outside.

We've attended 5 of the tasting events plus a murder mystery dinner and LOVED them. The host presentations have been informative, and the food and drinks have been excellent every time. We've enjoyed dining outside by the river during the summer, and in the bar area during music performances. We've always received great service and enjoyed the food and drinks.

Fantastic! The building itself is amazing. Great food and great big beers. We will go back for sure.

They nailed the burger and the smoked cocktails. I finished with a Sazerac that was done nicely. Great atmosphere inside and out.

I attended the summer wine pairing. The food was delicious as was the wine. The crowd was rude and disrespectful. I was embarrassed for the gentleman sharing his wine knowledge because you could not hear him above all the talking, even after the attendees were asked to be quiet during the presentation. This was our first time attending and I was so disappointed by the attendees constant loud talking. Perhaps it should be made clear that these experiences are for those who really want to learn about pairing food and wine or other beverages.

A perfect venue for a family or group event. The staff was amazing and accommodating for our family luncheon. The chef made sure the vegan family members had delicious options for their meal. The staff made sure to check on our needs multiple times during the event. Thank you for making our afternoon so special.

We sat outside along the river, enjoyed a good brew and lunched on the German Sausage Feast (2 of us shared as it was mid afternoon). Delicious. Outdoors was very relaxing, indoors seemed warm and cozy. Menu selections were mouth watering (I've already picked out what I'll have next time!)
Friends have told me the meatloaf is fabulous. I'm leaning toward The Baum, depending on time of day I'm there.

Had a lovely lunch here with my family. The Cottage Pie and wedge salad were delicious, and the Belgian waffle sundae is to die for. Beautiful interior and patio. Well be back!

Do not sleep on this place! The food and atmosphere are amazing. The staff is great and they offer a lot of fun events.

The patio is the best around! The food is delicious (try the giant pretzel and dumplings!) Love it here!!

Beautiful setting along the Fox River in Montgomery Illinois. Excellent service and food! Friendly wait staff. Excellent Beer list including some German favorites! And don't forget the Smokey Old Fashion! Best we've had, and we've tried a bunch! It's also a great place to host your wedding or retirement party.

First nice evening of spring we went here for dinner and ended up staying for the band (28 days duo). Grace was our server and was awesome. Food was perfect as was the service and atmosphere. Will be back.

Great food! Burgers were one of the best we've had in a long time, the mac n cheese and chicken was perfectly flavored. Great filling food, but not too much to the point of feeling too full. The wedding venue is gorgeous. Danny Boy's Speakeasy in the lower level had indoor and outdoor dining. The remodeling they did looks phenomenal. The beer Garden is awesome with a fun atmosphere. Grace was our server, and she was very accommodating and constantly checking on us. We definitely enjoyed our visit and will be back.
