The empanadas were amazing! They have a golden crust and are crispy, buttery, and everything you could ask for! A variety of flavors and are given fries to snack on while you wait for your empanadas. I will definitely be coming again!

Soo good. The best empanadas around. These are amazing and that chimichurri sauce is fantastic. Definitely recommend checking out Grumpy Gaucho. They have a brick and mortar location along with a food truck that is very active in the community.

Tried the beef criollo, bbq pork, and chicken pesto empanadas for the first time at the rustic fox market andddd it was 10/10!! sooo delicious, flavorful, and fresh. I had to go back and order more for home. I know the rest of my family will enjoy. I will definitely be back!!

Had the pleasure of trying Grumpy Gaucho’s empanadas and churros at the Lombard Food Truck Fest on 9/16 - and, there is nothing grumpy about it! The empanadas were SO GOOD! So much flavor packed into each option, I could have easily had 10 more. And it was the best churro I’ve had in a long time. Look forward to finding him again next food truck season.

Delicious! We ordered the Beef Criolla, Chicken Pesto, and Ham and Cheese Empanadas. They were all great. We also got the Choripan, which we made on the grill. All the food was delicious! They were so great and let me order online and offered delivery as they were catering near my house. The food was delicious and the customer service was amazing. We will definitely be ordering again!

These are real Argentinian empanadas!! Love them! They are big and tasty. Enjoyed them from the truck at Naperville’s farmer’s market

Baked, flaky, buttery, empanadas. I thoroughly enjoy these over fried or pie/pizza crust style.

The flavors are absolutely amazing. Buffalo is creamy, cheesy, spicy goodness! The traditional sounds weird with raisins and olives but they are amazing!

I was just at the Downers Grove Park District 75th Year Bash at McCollum Park and Grumpy Guacho is there. Decided to try them. It said minimum order of 2 empanadas... Be on notice that they are kinda snack sized, so you definitely want more than 1! They were SO GOOD. Flavorful, a little bit of spice and very moist. Did I say...? SO GOOD. Muy delicioso!!

Not sure why I haven't chimed in yet. I haven't worked my way through all their flavors yet, but I've loved them all. I often check what new filling they may have for the day, and get those.

I first discovered these tasty pockets of goodness at their food trailer. Happy they opened this brick and mortar store only 15 min from home.

Super friendly owners. She often sends me on my way with an extra bonus. Today it was their sauces. They actually got their start with their sauces, so grab a frozen pack. They offer their authentic standard empanada flavors frozen or they prepare them to order, so phone 1st.

Absolutely delicious! I had three empanadas (beef criolla, chicken pesto, spinach ricotta) and a dulce de leche filled churro. So tasty, and the chimichurri sauce on the side - yum! Great service, easy online ordering and pick up. Highly recommend a visit to the Grumpy Gaucho!

Best food I’ve ever had. I got some empanadas and churros with my family at a food truck event and I could not have been happier with what we got. Everything tasted amazing and my family was raving over the different types. The strawberry churros were fantastic and we can’t wait to eat here again.

Awesome empanadas. I had a breakfast one with bacon and egg that was wonderful, and I had an apple filled one which to me was perfect, not too sweet, better than apple pie. My daughter tried the barbeque beef and raved about it as well. We will definitely visit here again and be on the look out for their food truck.

Just picked up some beef traditional, beef criollo, and bbq pork empanadas. All of them were delicious. The chimichurri is amazing, don't skip it! Will be returning for lunch very soon!
