For 30 years, Michelle Mason at Jane (formerly Sweet Things) has been making and decorating our families’ cakes for all occasions. They are always delicious, but Michelle’s artistry blows us away. In addition to being an incredible artist, Michelle has a unique talent for coming up with creative ideas.

My husband and I share a birthday, and because he was turning 81 and me 75, I suggested she write, “Happy Birthday to Us.” Michelle asked me about our hobbies and interests and proceeded to create the cake in this photo, complete with logos of our favorite stores, pictures of our hobbies, names of family members, and the Buckeye, where we had the luncheon

Absolutely LOVE the customer service! Helpful young lady helped me make a great selection. Gotta say though, the apple juice was kinda mid. Also a lot of old people (not that that's a bad thing of course). I enjoyed coming here, will DEFINITELY show patronage again.

My first purchase at Sweet Things was an Ice Cream Cookie...forty years ago. I've been a happy customer ever since, including today when I bought a couple of delicious Petite Fours...am looking forward to getting back in there tomorrow!!

My first time visiting Sweet Treats was in San Francisco....

Visiting a friend at the maternity ward down the street, we thought we should bring some cookies. I am no sweet-tooth, but I lost my mind in their hospital room, upon snacking on these Sweet Thing treats. It's the same store as the one near our house in Tiburon.. but wow. They offered our gift to them, to us... and this cookie I bit into was decadent and transcendent. The chocolate covered marshmallow smore cookie, as a surprise, was a giddy, rare treat. i had no idea of the gooey warmth about to wash over me, but it's the first time I have eaten a cookie in 30 years where it felt as magical and special a moment as when we were 5.

So, when we move to Tiburon, and this is on the way out of the city, I have found good reason to stop by both morning and night. A delightful staff, incredible and impossibly delicious temptations - from full gluttony to fair snack.

It's amazing that you can actually enjoy sweets when they are properly made... with nuance, and character, rather than the typical overdose of sugar and lack of complexity. Perfect for Birthdays!! =)

They have some of the most amazing cakes I've ever tasted (tuxedo cake is fantastic ). I've had great experiences with them when calling to place orders for office birthday cakes. Very personable and professional.

Delicious cookies (LOVE their Rockie Roads), cakes, scones, home-made lemon curd. I'm a baker, so know great stuff and this is it. Highly recommend
