I love this place!

I would go to Karen again and again for custom baked goods. First of all, whenever I stop by Mill Valley Bakery, Karen is there baking up another incredibly delicious creation. She's always a pleasure to speak with, and she's such a lovely person. I love going into the bakery to talk with her and see what she's created - whatever I get from sweet pastries to savory BLTs on baguettes, it is always on another level of deliciousness and freshness.

Karen made a custom order of apple cider cinnamon sugar baked donuts for our wedding this September, and our guests were raving about them. I've had multiple people ask after the wedding where they can get them, and many told me they were the best apple cider donuts they've ever had! I agree, and I grew up in New England so I've tried MANY apple cider donuts in my life and Karen's are better than any I've ever had.

Karen is truly talented at what she does, and I couldn't recommend working with her for any special event more highly.

Drop what you’re doing and go to this bakery!! Everything we got today was so delicious — chocolate chip cookie, blueberry lemon scone, cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant. And it has the sweetest owner who makes everything herself. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Some of the best pastries I’ve had in my life — and I’ve had a lot! The chocolate croissant was so light and so flaky — unlike the too-heavy or -bready croissants you get most places. Chocolate chip cookies are the same deal — light, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, SO tasty.

Karen is a master baker and a real hard worker. She arrives at 2 AM and opens at 6 AM. She has been discovered and sells out early. Her pastries are without equal and are always fresh out of the oven. I wish more people would request her sticky buns-absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, many of our "refined" citizens of MV don't like their fingers getting sticky! LOL!

Mill Valley might be small, but we're spoiled for choice when it comes to bakeries. That said, this one's my favorite! You can really taste the love and skill in their baked goods – always fresh and warm. A lot of places around here don't always serve it straight from the oven, which makes a huge difference in flavor. My only tiny gripe? I wish they'd be open more often; they sometimes close for events. But hey, that's when you know they're the real deal!

Adorable newer bakery that sells out fast! Delicious, crispy chocolate-chip cookies. The owner Karen is just as kind as people say - she had just closed when we walked by but gave us a little baggie of leftover cookies to-go. Generosity like that is not forgotten and is the kinda thing that brings me back the next time I go. Thank you so much, Karen! Ate em all on our way to Stinson Beach.

No frills bakery; great service, and our croissant and breakfast sandwiches were delicious.

Tried the focaccia and Nutella pastry. Very fresh dough and not too buttery. The taste is just right. Look forward to try the French baguette!!

Karen is a fantastic baker. She is friendly and personable. Also love her coffee. I’ll be stopping off tomorrow morning early for some of her delicious muffins.

Karen's baked goods are the best in Marin. I live nearby so I have the luxury of swinging by on my way to work. My fiancé loves her ham & cheese croissants and English muffins, and even simple things like her chocolate chip cookies are executed well and thoughtfully made.

Amazing croissants! Very friendly and talkative. I also had a cinnamon bun that was wonderful. I'm just visiting Mill Valley but will definitely revisit before leaving.

I noticed this shop while walking in the neighborhood and was drawn in by the selection of freshly baked pastries. We shared an English muffin and scone on our walk and devoured both before getting home. I had no idea an English muffin could be so soft, fluffy and flavorful. Adore everything about this place!

Delicious! Stopped in this morning and grabbed a couple of pastries with raspberries and a scone, and am so happy I did. Just the right balance of pastry and fruit, not too sweet, and exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely be stopping in regularly going forward!

The baked goods are so yummy! Just know that you have to get there early.

The first time I had sticky buns they were the best! The second time no nuts. Today they were disappointing with nuts but stickiness only on the outside but none in the center. Need to be chewy throughout!

Been going every week, small batches so they are always fresh (sometimes right out of the oven) very flavorful, selection changes every day - owners are super friendly.

The cinnamon puff pastry is incredible and happy to hear that they are serving sandwiches on fresh made bread. Delicious!!

Great new spot in Mill Valley for baguettes, croissants, and pastries. Friendly, efficient service. Like to swing by on walks or bike rides.
