Dunn Lumber - Lynnwood

Over the years, we've utilized Dunn Lumber for many projects -- most recently to purchase composite decking. They always have a quality materials and their team couldn't be more friendly and resourceful.

This time, I wanted to tackle a picture frame moulding project in our living room -- 100% on my own with no help from my husband (which he was probably grateful for).

I first checked with the big box stores and didn't have any luck finding the moulding I was looking for. I decided to see what Dunn Lumber had and not only found exactly what I wanted, but at a great price. Add to that, I was able to pay a little extra for their help cutting several 8 and 12 ft pieces down to the sizes I needed. This saved me a TON of time. I also picked up all of the essentials (small hand saw, miter box, caulking, etc.) which only left me needing paint which I already had.

I'm really pleased with how everything turned out and am so thankful to the Dunn team for making it as easy and convenient as possible.

I have designed and built a lot of decks in the area. Dunn helps with my take off for materials. They deliver as well. If there something I need and not in stock. Then they get it.

Always the best quality and great help. It's good group of men and women to help me find the right lumber AND receive decent lumber. You might save a few bucks at the box store, but the quality and number of unusable boards ruins that perceived savings.

This is a great store. I wanted to build a loft for our bed (we live in a studio house) we told the counter employee our plan & he helped us order & cut the wood. He also found the perfect screws to buy. Our loft is built! They made this easy. I highly recommend dunn lumber!

Dunn has the best service people, last time I was there they picked the best wood for me. If you need some wood in odd sizes or types Dunn is your place, they have 2X4 and 2X6 cedar in all sizes. I got 2X4X14' and 12' clear cedar, try getting that at the box store.

My go to place when the big box store doesn't have what I'm looking for. Many times the salesman will actually walk with me to help me pick out my items. Don't get that type of service in the big box stores. Special order items are usually found in one of their many stores. I try to buy local whenever I can. Support the local economy!

Great return policy. Top level quality products, better than the rest. Great customer service. Always go here when I need high quality merchandise.

I ordered some railings and was told that they would arrive Wednesday however they came Friday which was fine because the installer was scheduled for Saturday. The person who helped me with the order got everything completely wrong. The order and the railings are the wrong size, color, and also charged me more for the wrong product. I will be going in to the store to sort out this whole mess and will update review depending on the outcome. My advice when ordering from Dunn lumber triple check everything because the sales guys don't care.

UPDATE: I received a phone the next morning from a manager who was able to solve the problem and explained that the Railing company has made mistakes like this before. Dunn lumber took ownership and provided a solution for different railing and I was able to complete the project. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Dunn Lumber is my go to neighborhood hardware store. The staff is always helpful and current on the latest trends in the construction market. Highly recommended for the seasoned Pro or your average Joe. Thanks Dunn

Legit wow experience. They answered on the first ring to answer a question. Operators are standing by! Guy helped me check out, and loaded my sheet of plywood too. Out the door in 5. I’ve never walked out of a Lowes saying wow. Totally killed it!

Dunn Lumber is THE place for lumber, doors, hardware and tools. Lew is the best, he's always kind, helpful and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. 10/10 would recommend.

I go here first for many house projects before I drive to the bigger stores. Better selection of wood, trim, screws, fencing and exterior projects. Nice friendly and knowledgable staff.
