KC's American Kitchen

Definitely a busy place for a cosy breakfast with various American dishes. Don’t forget to check out the Eggs Benedict section. They are so yummy. The restaurant also features Mr. Grinch mimosas during Xmas time which is a nice touch enjoying happy time by the fireplace with your family.

A fantastic restaurant for breakfast. The menu features American classics, eggs, pancakes, waffles, and the like. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. We always eat on the patio but there are plenty of tables inside the restaurant as well. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. The food is good and the portions are sizable. One of the best of its kind in Windsor.

To sum it all up… WOW!!!

I am a big breakfast enthusiast and I can miss lunch and dinner but breakfast is my favorite part of the day, so I really appreciate good quality food in the morning.

Let me start with my breakfast dish, Chicken Apple Sausage, country potatoes, over easy Eggs, and sourdough toast. The country potatoes were seasons perfectly with a perfect crouch on the skin side, and a soft inside of the potato (how do they do that). The over easy eggs where perfect, they melted like lava when I put my fork thru it. And the Chicken Apple Sausage was cooked just right with the right amount of sweetness. I have to say that this is my favorite breakfast restaurant and every time I’m in the area, it’s a must for me!!!

A few other items that were awesome is their salsa. I’ve never been able to make salsa so smooth and silky with a great balance of tomato and salt, mine tends comes out too chunky or watery. I also tried their pancakes which was great and fluffy like pancakes should be. And last but not least, I had orange juice which tasted just right where it didn’t have to much tangy or sour taste, but just the right amount of pulp and sweetness. Great job KC!!!

My wife and I had not been to KCs since pre-COVID. While driving north to Humboldt County, we stopped in to check it out, again. We were not disappointed.
You will see the potato cakes on the menu - they are a must. I had the loaded potato cakes, with bacon, cheese, and onions. Nice a crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. And, our meals came out within 10 minutes.
The staff were friendly as we remembered. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and tidy.
One noteworthy event - eggs. With the current high prices on eggs (Feb. 2023) we had a $1 additional charge for eggs above the cost of the cost of the meal. I spoke with the waitress and confirmed that it is a temporary charge to cover the cost of high-priced eggs.
Overall, a great dining experience. The ambiance, food, and service were fun and pleasant.

Patio was super cute. Service was good. Crab cake benedict was good but the bacon was perfect thick cut cooked perfectly and the potatoes stole the show!

Personally, loved this restaurant in Windsor. We enjoyed breakfast here, and it was very tasty. Nice hot coffee, and wonderful outdoor seating (even with heaters) thanks so much!

What a little gem this place is.
Went there for the first time with the whole family and cousins, 9 total people, and they accommodated us no problem, but we did make a reservation first. There is dining inside and outside. There was a line of people waiting when we left. A reservation is a good idea. The food was delicious and came out fast. The service was nice, and the decorations on the wall gave it some great character. I had the classic potato cakes with eggs over easy, delicious, and a must try. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal, and I will be going back. In addition there is a nice park right across the street thay we went to after eating so the kids could play. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Varied menu and great food. My friend wanted a burger and what a burger! I ordered a vegetarian sandwich that was tasty....couldn't pass up the milkshake

DELICIOUS food! So many amazing dishes to choose from. Enjoyed Buffalo Chicken Sandwich this time. Fresh fresh bun. So tasty inside. Desserts are to die for. Portions are very fulfilling and generous. Waiters are so friendly, accommodating and efficient. Love the outside area with heat lamps. Fun funky decor inside. Edit: Came here again and had a delicious Asian wrap. The food comes in big portions, and very satisfying. Oh, and very friendly waitress and fun atmosphere. Update 10/27: MORE LOVE to KC's - I ❤this place! It's hard to find such a fun, friendly and laid back diner like this in Sonoma County. The food is sooo good, and the outdoor seating for Covid is perfect. The waiter this time named Chuck was SUPER kind and attentive and personable. I love, love love this place!!!

The five-star rating is for breakfast. KC's has been our go-to breakfast joint for many years when visiting Sonoma, and it's one of my favorite breakfasts anywhere. The skillets are amazing! Huge portions on everything, so come hungry.

We recently tried dinner here for the first time. I must say, we were quite disappointed. The menu LOOKED great, but the execution of the dishes was lacking. Maybe for a lower price it would be okay; as is, the value wasn't there. So, for dinner I'd give it a 3.5.

For breakfast, though, you won't be disappointed!

We love KC’s it’s one of our favorite places to eat. Great Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. AND... If you like Prime Rib, it’s the best in the area. Huge menu with lots of choices for everyone in the family. We LOVE KC’s 😀👍

I ordered the "I love animals" burger. Chicken strip, bacon, shredded pork and hamburger. No way could I eat the while thing. It was very good. The seating area itself was very interesting with lots to look at. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go again. Price was reasonable. There was no bar so alcoholic drinks were limited.

Great place for brunch. Service is excellent. Biscuits and gravy was not as good as it sounds. The eggs Benedict we're solid -- not the best, and not terrible.

Plenty of parking out the front of restaurant. KC is named after the owner. Built in 2005, KC’s Downtown Grill on the Windsor Town Green and it quickly became Windsor’s favorite restaurant and has Windsor’s most popular restaurant ever since!

They serve brekkie, lunch and dinner! Kid friendly and a real family restaurant vibe with hearty, American meals.

💥 It has a small town feel, with plenty of old school memorabilia on the walls, coke signs, vintage 50s, route 66 diner vibe.

💁🏼‍♀ Super friendly staff, they even let us have the table for a really long time as we waited for our tour.

🥤 Beer, wine, soda fountain and espresso bar and shakes and smoothies!

I got a strawberry shake and it was so good, I got a photoshoot with it.

Went in with a large group. From ages 4 to 64.. the servers got the orders right. The food was good and more than enough. I had the southwest potato cakes. My daughter had the double wide potato cakes. Other order pancakes hash Browns. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Because of our large group, we ate on the patio. There is plenty of room and warm even on a cold morning.

I LOVED this place. Pulled pork omelet was an experience for myself. It was incredible. Great service. Great location. And all around one of my favorite breakfasts.
