Had issue with my 30+ year old chain saw sprocket was not moving. I thought it was saw dust jamming things up, which occasionally happens when too much sawdust gets put into the area of the sprocket, but the normal cleaning didn't resolve it. I brought it in on New Years Eve expecting to leave it and, at the very least , pay a service charge after it was looked at, plus more to fix whatever was wrong with it. Instead, he checked right away and found (much to my embarrassment) that the chain brake was applied. I asked about the condition of the sprocket, knowing that he could tell me it needed replacement and I really wouldn't know if that was accurate. If that happened, he could find all kinds of other stuff wrong and I could end up with a hefty bill (this has happened with a number of other places I have gone to). Instead, he said it was fine and sent me on my way. The whole encounter took 10 minutes and I was on my way home with a running saw, confidence that the sprocket was OK, and the only "Cost" was the dent in my ego for not checking the chain brake in the first place. I very much appreciate the honesty and integrity. I just found my new repair shop.

Just purchased a Scag V-Ride II for residential use and my experience working with Rosie and Greg through the entire process was awesome. I have been purchasing equipment and having the same repaired at Oakland Marine for many years and must say they are the most honest and reliable people in the business. The fast turn around repair time is first rate and the prices are always competitive. The staff is fantastic! You will not be disappointed.

This has nothing to do with lawn repairs, they are wonderful people, I wish I got there names. I was on RT287 going to work when I hit something on the highway, well the tire blew out, i some how got off the highway and pulled into there parking lot. I started to take out the jack when the owner asked if I would like a floor jack and let me borrow it, than he gave me a breaker bar and also a portable hand gun, I started to try to loosen the lug nuts , when another gentleman said let me do that for you, he proceed to remove my tire and replace it with my spare, I was so thankful and realized there are still wonderful people out there. I know now if I ever need lawn equipment repairs I would bring it there and recommend them to my friends. I hope you guys read this and once again thank you so much for your caring!

They are the best. Helpful staff, they know their machines and their repairs. I suggest you know what you want before you get there,and have a part number if possible. Very busy shop, parking is tough sometimes. Bear with them,you might have to wait a little while, but it's worth it.

These guys are the real deal for small engine repair. Bought an 8 year old leaf blower in with leaking carburetor. Took it apart, repaired and cleaned.
The thing is running like new now. Fast turn around, reasonable prices and competent. It is no wonder there was a steady stream of landscape contractors dropping off and picking up while I was doing the same. Will use them for future repair and purchase needs.

I had trouble with my snow blower during this blizzard. I cleaned carburetor 3 times with no success. I went to Oakland Marine with the carburetor. Rosey showed me what I did wrong and what needed replacement. She took care of me immediately. I can’t put a price tag on their service. Imo it’s amazing. I will always go back to them. Thanks again! The friendly staff had the parts I needed in stock, and their prices are better than I could find anywhere online. I highly recommend this sales and service shop. A+

This is one of the few remaining real mower and tractor shops in the area. They know machines and equipment and sell good stuff. If you want to spend money for equipment that will last, get it at a place like this. If you want to go to slows or home despot, and get cheap junk, its your money and your frustration when the junk breaks. I have driven to get here since they are a simplicity dealer, and simplicity is one of the last of the good tractors.

They attend you very well and gives the best prices! They will get the job done soon as possible!

I’ve gone here for years and the owners are good, knowledgeable people. Same with the workers. Only recommendation would be expanded Saturday hours.
