Celebrated Mother's Day 2024 there. Excellent brunch menu. Bar. Food was delicious. Unlimited Mimosas. Live entertainment was fantastic. Owners gave all Mom's a red rose. Has a deck. Holds about 100. I will go back.

We found this place on accident and I’m so glad we did! Our waitress was so sweet. She aided me in picking a great brunch meal. I most definitely recommend coming here! Can’t wait to come back.

I was visiting DC and found this place doing a search. I'm so glad we found it. The area and the outside is unassuming but the food was so great, the service impeccable, we chatted with the owner, who had a beautiful energy to match the beautiful interior decor. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment. I hope to return again soon.

Incredibly good people serving incredibly good food.

Two of my friends and I stopped by on an empty night after a few parties with friends. The kitchen had closed early and the crew was cleaning up. Regardless, seeing a few weary travelers, the owner and bartender moved heaven and earth to serve us whatever we wanted (the French toast) and then some (tacking on the wings with Gab sauce and fries). Obviously, hospitality goes an incredibly long way and these people were best in class; however, the food was also phenomenal. We could not even wait to try the wings, which had to be some of it not the best wings any of us had ever had. A little crunchy, incredibly juicy, and flavor that makes you clean down to the bone. The French toast was also exceptional and hit the spot. We are going to make a point to come back here and you should add it to your list of places to frequent in DC!

First time day date with hubby. The ambience, and food was superb. It was a very classy, and welcoming environment. The staff makes you feel so good about the overall experience. You have to look no further for your dining experience in the city with quality food, not your average, but definitely your exquisite taste. We will definitely be returning again.

No idea what the chef put in that mac and cheese but he is GIFTED. The owner is also super friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back soon, I’ve got my eye on that key lime pie 👀

Victoria is so kind and the food is excellent. I had the shrimp po-boy and wings with Old Bay. Both were excellent. Grilled shrimp, not fried, and the wings were large and fried perfectly. 5 stars.

Finally, after a long 2+ year wait, the Great American Bistro (GAB) is open! As a local, I've been looking forward to having some fresh food options. My experience here definitely made the wait seem worth it.

I was immediately warmly welcomed and sat at a table of my choosing. Water with lemons on the side was promptly at the table without having to ask. I ordered the Roasted GAB roast beef sandwich with BBQ chips. It was a delicious sandwich piled high with moist and flavorful roast beef and roast turkey, made over the top with delicious caramelized onions and a soft onion roll. Highly recommended!

I definitely will be back, especially when the weather is warmer and can sit outside!

Ordered to-go from here, and they had run out of utensils. So the lovely hostess lent me her silverware! I also forgot my debit card here, and called back to see if they had it by chance, which she did! I was so relieved! Go here, try their delicious food, and also know you're in good hands with everything; food, service, ambience, and a smile to end your day with! 😀 I plan to go back, and get pics next time!

This is really a local gem in the Shaw area. The food and drinks are good and well-priced, but the staff and environment is amazing. I haven’t had service this good in years, and staff seemed genuinely appreciative of every guest.

Amazing low key spot!! Derrick Peace is an outstanding chef and his menu is nothing short of fantastic.
