Amazing Chinese takeout. I don’t think there was dine-in but I ordered and paid over phone and picked it up in 10 minutes piping hot. Very vegan friendly; the mapo tofu (I made sure to ask for it vegan with no pork), dry fried Szechuan style green beans, and garlic eggplant were all authentic and flavorful and just oh so yummy!!! The mapo tofu could’ve been spicier. It didn’t numb my tongue much as it’s supposed to. They warned me it would be spicy on phone a couple of times and I assured them it was okay but maybe because I am white and sounded white they dialed it back hehe but it was scrumptious and great deal because the portions are huge and it came with tons of rice. The beautiful ladies working there are also very sweet. Can’t wait to eat my bountiful leftovers tomorrow!

Order was correct ordered online. Appears to be a takeout only place at least when I went. Tables were set up to block entering beyond the doorway. Food was good.

Ordered the fried squid - was good but no longer crispy with travel time. Dan Dan noodle was okay, not spicy. Beef broccoli was good.

Food was good as leftovers the next day too.

This is the best takeaway Chinese I’ve tried in the Logan circle neighborhood, but it’s not a dine in establishment as there are chairs blocking the restaurant off from the front door/pickup area. A somewhat standoffish woman took my payment and handed my bag over when I came in, but that’s fine as you can order online to minimize interactions. Portions are normal sized, spot felt clean, and the food was ready really quick after ordering. My favorite general tso chicken I’ve found so far, really nice sauce not too sweet.

This is the best downtown DC Chinese food I have found. Mapo Toufu really has that authentic taste here. Also their eggplant and spicy chicken dish is authentic too.

I typically order to go but dined in for the first time. The food is always consistent in quality & the value is great for their portions. The service is extremely quick & friendly.

Great food, good value for money. The black bean chicken, hot and sour soup, and dry hot pepper shrimp or chicken are delicious!

Thus is the best Asian food in the Logan circle area. What I love most is that you can ask fir a specific texture. I do their kung pow tofu and ask for extra crunchy and spicy. They add extra corn start here and make it work.

The restaurant is so small we nearly missed the door and there’s only 3 tables for dine in, but the staff was really sweet and this was some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. HIGHLY recommend!

For the first time in a while I was not disappointed in anything. I ordered beef and peppers which is pretty uncomplicated but you would be surprised! The beef was fresh, velvety, the peppers and onions were crisp and the sauce didn't taste oily or disgusting. All around, for such a small restaurant I am very pleased with my order and will order from them again.

Solid Chinese restaurant, with several authentic (non-Americanized) dishes if you know what to look for on the menu. I recommend the Sichuan crispy dry pepper chicken, the shredded pork w/ Sichuan chili, crispy shredded beef, horn pepper chicken, and the shredded pork with dry tofu. Fast delivery via Uber Eats, too - I live 7 blocks away and delivery is rarely more than 30 minutes.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The food comes in very generous portions at a reasonable price. It was so good that I ended up coming back a second time during my brief visit to DC. I’d highly recommend their duck, which is flavorful with a nice, crispy skin. Also be sure to sample one of the lamb dishes and a tofu dish.

We ordered on Chinese New Year for the Chinese Lunar New Year 2/1/22 and it was really really delicious. We had Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Beef with Broccoli, Fried Rice dishes, sesame noodles and more. It reminds me of New York City Chinese food from a long time ago, and prepared to order in this instance without additives. Thank you!

This is our go-to takeout Asian eatery in DC. It's unimposingly small, set in a tiny nook in the heart of hipster busy Logan Circle. The food is authentic and delicious, the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. We began going here several years ago on the recommendation of a high-end restaurant owner we know ("Where do YOU go for awesome Asian takeout?") and we haven't looked back.

Great Kung pao chicken

Great food and incredibly fast. Thought they were calling to confirm the online order, but they were already downstairs! Food was really tasty with the chicken moist and tender while the fried items were incredibly crisp. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby.

The staff is the best. Our neighborhood restaurant that we order from all the time. The food is great and always a few interesting dishes. I wish they woul be even more adventurous with their menu because the chef is really good.

Best CHINESE! My co-worker discovered this gem about 2-3 years ago. We have been coming ever since. This is the only establishment I can think of, where you eat there food and there is no after taste. Some Chinese restaurants, the after taste alone makes me avoid them. This place is authentic, prices are affordable, and the food is delicious. I usually get the General Tso, Shrimp Lo Mein, or Black Bean Chicken (this is to die for). Best Chinese I have ever tasted. Go on in, have a seat and enjoy your cuisine. Quick little story, I went there during the summer with my niece and sister. We ordered and I went to the bathroom, by the time I arrived back to the table, food was arriving piping HOT, just the way I like it!

My favorite place. My husband and I do our Sunday date lunch here. I prefer this place over many. Love the staff and quaintness of the establishment. If you like spicy tempura try the salt/pepper seafood (shrimp, squid and scallops with jalapeno pepper)😛

Great neighborhood Chinese food. Best in the area and one you can actually go in and sit down and enjoy a meal. Take out is great too. I’m a regular here and for 20 years of living in Logan we’ve never had a Chinese restaurant this good.
