I recently went to a few local gun shops looking to make a purchase on a new Sig handgun. I am guy who is not at all shy about dropping money on things I enjoy doing. I initially checked out a one or two other places and they didn't leave a great feeling. I honestly felt the customer service was NOT good overall and chose not to spend my money with them. The other stores made you feel as they were doing you a favor. I found Yankee Armory on a whim and decided to go in last week. I cant begin to tell you what a different experience I had compared to the other place that I visited. The staff @ Yankee Armorer was super friendly, informative and helpful. I was more than happy to spend my money with them and plan to make a few more purchases through them as my experience was stellar. I will say they are not a real flashy store and they don't have a lot of modern guns on display but if you are patient and willing to wait a day or two, they can get you almost anything you want. Great guys and would absolutely recommend them to anyone, It's worth the little wait. I wish everyone understood the customer experience as they do.

Excellent group of guys! They're extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all things guns and ammo! Also they have extremely fair prices on all their firearms and ammo. If you or someone you know is looking to make your first purchase or you're a seasoned buyer I cannot recommend them more. PLUS its veteran owned business, support your local veterans!

This little shop is THE PLACE for enthusiasts and collectors of militaria. This is not your regular gun store, while they do offer regular FFL services and stock modern firearms, they specialize in rare and collectable WW1 and WW2 firearms.

The owner Charles is a veteran with great expertise and a delightful sense of humor. He and his two employees are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Their prices are reasonable and they offer a no interest layaway program on anything they will sell.

This place is a must see for any serious collector out there. Looking for a Mauser C96 broomhandle? Charles is your man. Looking for a minty WW2 issued M1 Garand? Come on in and take your pick.

On any given day they will also have a number of interesting and high quality used guns, like a west german sig sauer I purchased last year.

Purchased my first gun from them and they were very great and helpful! This led to me purchasing my second gun with them and without a doubt they were just as helpful if not more. Very knowledgeable and their customer service is outstanding. Will definitely continue to come to them for any firearm assistance.

Recently, was doing some Luger shopping. Came across a pistol I liked- BUT, could not get any response from the seller. I then found a Luger from the Yankee Armorer, the transaction was smooth as glass and the Luger was really a fine piece at a very reasonable price. The owner and one of his assistants were very pleasant and professional. The pistol was shipped promptly. Nothing but praise. Thanks

The team at The Yankee Armorer is amazing. The shop itself is very small but absolutely packed to the brim with military surplus rifles, pistols, knives, and accessories. Very knowledgeable and happy to just shoot the breeze about old guns. Ended up staying for close to 2 hours having conversations and walked out with a beautiful US Model 1918 Trench Knife. These guys will have something you've never seen before!

I just picked up my Kimber 1911 Raptor from Yankee Armorer over the weekend. This was my first purchase through a transfer (original purchase from David Sports in NY) and I would strongly recommend Yankee Armorer. This place is a "mom and pop" establishment with honest people working in the establishment. The staff had strong knowledge and has an extensive selection of antique firearms along with modern day guns. The transfer price was cheap and I would easily recommend this shop if anyone is looking to transfer their firearm to NJ. Or even looking to purchase a new gun to their collection. Thanks to the team at Yankee Armorer! Bill

Great owner, great store. Any fan of historical firearms will love this place. The owner, Mr. Kaplan, is a veteran of the second world war and a very nice man. He is extremely knowledgeable on classic firearms and keeps a great selection in his store. I have now purchased 2 firearms from him and plan on returning. My experience with the Yankee Armorer has been top notch. 5 stars.

I am a returning customer and love that place, it is a "hidden jewel" and must visit. Historical and unique firearms of museum level for sale. Modern stuff, too. Might have some hard-to-find ammo you need (I got rounds for Mosin there). The prices are fair. Great as FFL and gunsmith. The owner and the associates are all very unique personalities, very friendly and chatty. You can feel they are enthusiasts and love what they are doing, not just another "for profit" gun place as many around.

Purchased a WW2 era Mauser P-38 from Mr. Kaplan. It was truly as described, from the bore condition to the overall use and wear. I could not be more happy with my purchase, and it was a reasonable price. Service and shipping were fast. The phone was answered and the employees were quite helpful and courteous. I can't think of how his business could be improved.

Such a warm service. One of a few remaining small business owners in Bergen County. The owner is WWII vet and very welcoming - during off hours his phone is usually redirected to his house landline and it is so sweet when his wife picked up the phone and greeted me. Where are you going to find such a personal level of service nowadays? The store is primarily run by Andrew and his brother and I could not be happier with my FFL transfer experience. The brothers were willing to answer all my questions and then some. They charged me $54.XX transfer fee which is one of the lowest fees you can pay in 2020. Hope they can stay afloat in these hectic times as so many of their peers closed the shop already.

The Yankee Armorer and Mr. Kaplan are one of the best WWII firearm sellers that I have dealt with. I bought a Sauer 38H to add to my .32 ACP collection and it looks better than the pictures on their website. Do not be worried about low quality when it comes to their selection of WWII firearms. Also, the shipping was very quick, only three days to arrive. They allow you to call to negotiate the price, which builds trust. Great seller!

Awesome to deal with. I just bought a 1903 Springfield from them, which they shipped to my local FFL dealer in Michigan. Prompt, courteous service and the rifle condition was as good or better then advertised.
