There is a phenomenal take on a French Dip, called the Mom’s Dip! If you like Pesto go for the Baby J’s, definitely one of my Favorites! I love the Appleway Salad as well!
You wont leave hungry! The Italian has 4 meats! Don’t forget to check out their desserts! I’ve never had a bad experience there.

My wife had the local club and it was to die for!

If you are going for a hot sandwich, have them heat up the meat and bread separate to avoid it being soggy.

Pro Tip - Ask for off menu items. I asked for a Reuben on Rye and it was to die for! Your tastebuds will thank me later.

Also, the staff was friendly and informed us of the loyalty program which is an app.

This family owned biz is such an awesome part of the community. Made from scratch bread, fresh salads, $2 pints from fellow local breweries, cupcakes.... no matter what you decide to get you won't be disappointed-everthing is made to order with the highest quality ingredients possible. They take great care of their customers who often become friends and support so many other local businesses. Visit ASAP at either Hayden or Rathdrum :)

Found a new sandwich shop... Way better than Jimmy Johns and Subway. They load their sandwiches with meat and veggies.

The Wallace may have been the best deli sandwich I've ever had. Massive portion, delicious ingredients, friendly service... What's not to love? OH! The chicken with wild rice soup was sublime! AND the giant, gooey rice krispy treat was simply transcendent! I'll definitely be back!

We love the local deli and order quite often (sometimes weekly). We love the freshness of all the ingredients and the little touches they do for us.

The Rathdrum location doesn't have the extra expanded bar and pastry options the Hayden location does. But I prefer this location better.

The best! My Boss orders this often on a Thursday for our office! I’m never disappointed! I always get the Chicken Caesar salad. My salad always has plenty of chicken & it taste great! I can’t wait to try more items on the menu.

My favorite place to get a sandwich. I drive all the way from Spokane to grab a bite here. They are very generous with the meats. All of the veggies are fresh, and the bread is amazing! The ladies that run this palace are super friendly! Service is quick! They don't make the sandwich until you order it. I recommend the Wallace works. I think it's the best of all the sandwiches I've had there.

Food was good staff was even better. Im new to having to be gluten free (just found out it's why I was sick all the time) and they let me sample the bread first which was really amazing. I've had a hard time adjusting and figuring out what's safe to eat or tastes good. I'll have to try the gluten free cupcakes next visit.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch today. Everything was clean. The girls behind the counter were Awesome! We got soup and sandwiches, everything was super fresh and delicious as always. Thank you so much for always having excellent choices, great service and fresh food!

The best sandwich around, Fresh homemade bread, fresh ingredients, excellent quality and service. Clam chowder good also. Have used call in and walk in never been disappointed.

Had the Turkey with cranberry sub. For me a good sandwich. The bread was soft and not chewy which I liked and the place was nice and clean. Looking forward to trying more sandwiches.. but my heart is with the Turkey Turkey cranberry.

Awesome staff, great selection, and you can order a growler and pint while your waiting! The extras you can add on your sandwich or other items is almost endless, took three sittings to finish a whole sandwich. Kids menu the whole nine, best around!

The bread was super soft and the sandwiches were delicious! They were also very accommodating of my husbands allergies. We will definitely be coming back again!

Bigger sandwich than subway and $5 less.

My favorite restaurant in Rathdrum by far. The prices scared me at first, but their subs are nearly double the size of subway's (and twice as tasty in my opinion). My favorite so far is the Local Club, if you want to build your own I'd recommend ordering from their website

Love The Local Deli. Especially Since Our Subway Dissappeared When Stein's Closed. The Local Deli Provides A Little More Upscale Atmosphere. Has Live Music On Occasion. Supports Local Artists And Artisans Offering Their Wares For Purchase. Excellent Service! Fresh Ingredients. Great Choices And Wonderful Breads, Soups And Specials. A Jewel For Rathdrum Locals And Visitors Alike. Makes Everyone Feel Welcome.
