Prik Nam Pla

Quite glad I found this Thai place. As an Asian, I’m a sucker for good authentic Thai food. Had the Pad Thai and it was awesome. Not too sweet, and the shrimp that came with it was nice and juicy. I also very thankfully ordered a side of fried pork, which was deep fried fresh - this is a def must try. Only bummer was that it doesn’t come with any dipping sauce. The lady at the counter mentioned that I ought to try the curry noodles next time, and I’d sure be back with some friends to try it out.

Prik Nam Pla in Davis Square has consistently impressed me with its tasty offerings. Everything I've tried has been delicious, but the standout dish is undoubtedly the garlic udon noodle – it's truly to die for. The flavors are rich and satisfying, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. If you're seeking a place with consistently tasty food, Prik Nam Pla should be at the top of your list.

This place never disappoints, I have been here over 10 times(all take out) and the food is consistently tasty and a great size for portions. Their best is the basil fried rice, nice spice(not too much) a good portion of protein and veggies to go with it. Highly recommend, one of the best Thai in the area…maybe even #1 in my own opinion.

Khao Soi Kai (Chicken) is really good! Curry soup base is slightly spicy but it tastes well balanced with the egg noodles and braised chicken breast👍mango fried rice is a little bit salty but fine. Will definitely come here again for lunch special! (Oct 6th & 17th, 2023)

Truly excellent food and service. The Khao Soi is so spicy and delicious. The chicken wings are just fab. Their Pad See You has that nice sweetness. Their drunken noodles have a light kick and are full of Thai basil. They’ve immediately become my go to Thai restaurant.

Love this new Thai restaurant! I appreciate that they have the classics but some other dishes like the beef stew that you don’t see at every Thai restaurant. I LOVE that they have Khao Soi, and they really do it well. Their Thai Tea is some of the best I’ve had in the area too! Overall this is an amazing place for takeout or a casual meal.

Lovely service and mostly authentic Thai cuisine. The lunch specials are a great deal at $12.95 for entree and appetizer. We had red curry with chicken and masaman curry. Both had great heat and spices. The most delicious part of the meal was the appetizer. We skipped the gyoza option (not Thai) and had what they called vegetable dumpling. The server explained it rarely is offered in a restaurant but is Thai. I forget the Thai name despite asking her twice what it was. I wanted to research it ao I could learn how to make it. It’s not really a dumpling but more like a triangular crispy puff of green veg and something soft. Terrible description but you will need to order it and see for yourself. Great place.

Everything was surprisingly delicious but what stood out compared to other Thai I’ve had around here was that everything tasted very fresh, like they got the vegetables today and made everything to order. Vegetables in a curry often get soft and overcooked but the green beans and peas still had that nice just cooked enough crunch. Yum! Will be back. Also, I always request no utensils or napkins when I get take out and it’s rarely followed but they did!

Prik Nam Pla used to be Kor Tor Mor which I was a fan of. They’ve rebranded and updated their menu and I’m excited they’ve reopened! The interior is small but looks great. I ordered the chicken kapow and it was delicious!! Pretty good medium spice and super flavorful. I also ordered the gyoza which are fried and they were pretty tasty. The staff was incredibly polite and my take out order was ready super fast! I’ll definitely be trying more off the menu but if it’s the same people behind Kor Tor Mor, I know it’ll be delicious Thai food!

Thank goodness they are back! Have been waiting for them to re-open after renovations.
Still delicious and considering this five stars, with a few comments-
- it seems that portions have been right sized, they use different take out containers now. Actually like the new ones better!
- consistently cooked rice (no hard pieces)
- flavor still delicious!!
Can’t wait to explore the revamped menu.

My favorite place for Thai in the area! The food and service have always been excellent, and the vibe is cozy if you want to sit there and eat for a bit.

The red curry and drunken noodles have been my favorite dishes. There's always a good ratio of noddles/rice and meat/veggies

Very tasty food. My son said Pad Thai was the best he ever had. The dishes My wife and I had were also really good.
We will go again and try other dishes.
I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing Thai food with a good level of spice. Their specials, curries, and fried rice all had great depth of flavor and portion size was larger than I expected. The only complaint is that there isn't much indoor seating. Definitely planning to eat here again!

Order golden bag for appetizer, beef stew over rice and khao soy noodle chicken it was delicious! Nothing to say but 5 star!

Delicious! I was here just before close and had a delicious Tom yum soup and the dumplings. Hot and fresh :)

My wife and I stop by to grab a quick lunch. The portion for the price is worth it. The flavor were very nostalgic as someone who worked in a Thai restaurant California. Definitely coming back again

Khao Soi is one of my favorite Thai dishes, and the “Khao Soi Kai” here certainly did not disappoint!
