Xaco Taco

Xaco Taco has the best restaurant atmosphere in providence. Our drinks were exceptional, and our tacos were very fresh tasting. Our waitress Erin was AMAZING! She explained the menu items clearly and was very helpful. I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a casual restaurant and good food.

This place is amazing! I’ve gone a few times on Saturday’s at dinner time (obviously a busy time) and each visit they’ve sat my party of 2 immediately or only made us wait 5 minutes. Then the food comes out so quickly and is DELICIOUS! The tacos are amazing, fresh, authentic. Carnitas are top notch and there are many non-meat options too. The street corn, rice, beans, and pickled veggies are all so tasty as well and my mouth is always going crazy with different flavors all meal. Their margaritas are also so good and well made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! By far one of my favorite restaurants in providence.

Fresh food...authentic Mexican flavor... very nice deals like happy hour price on tacos and the quality and the size was just perfect.

Happy hour deal here is excellent! 2 dollar tacos between 3-5pm which is something you don’t want to miss. Really everything about this place I thought was great. Very cool atmosphere that’s trendy and fitting for providence

Great place for drinks and tacos with friends or a date! Loved their margarita flight, well flavored and balanced drinks. All their tacos I tried were incredibly flavorful. However their vegetarian options were a bit bland, but still good. I’d also pass on their churro donuts. But their tacos and chips & salsa were 10/10!

Really amazing food, fast and friendly service, and good prices for what you get! Loved the churro donuts too, paired with the seasonal pumpkin spice marg was great! Will be going back! Also, our vegan friend was the one who suggested it here, he was able to have a delicious meal.

Service is excellent & food is delicious! I had a shrimp taco & fried fish one. They were both so yummy. The spicy pickled veggies are interesting - I enjoyed them! Will definitely return if ever back in the area!

Me and my husband went here and we loved it. The decor was awesome! The food was good to, I loved the street corn, I got the pork tacos which were okay in my book and my husband got the pulled pork ones which he really enjoyed. I got the flight of margaritas and I really loved them all.

Barbara our waitress was absolutely amazing tonight with her service (thank you again so much btw you were wonderful!) Amazing food, nice chill atmosphere in Providence, RI either inside or outside definitely a spot worth going to for some killer tapas sized meals for a sensible price.

This is one of my families favorite go-to places. Great food and drinks, always good service. The taco specials they have daily is phenomenal! Especially with everyone else raising prices on everything, they have been consistent with price and quality.

Kevin, our waiter was AMAZING. Get the carnitas and the Baja fish tacos. All the flavors are insane and compliment each other. The margaritas are fantastic, the atmosphere is great too, everything was perfect. Victory tacos to say the least after the day we had. Thank you Kevin, you deserve a raise after dealing with us LOL.

Just left Xaco taco with a large party and had the BEST server ever!! Next time you visit grab one of their many delicious cocktails and ask for Maia!!!! She’s the greatest! Will be back again and again!!

So happy I decided to stop here for lunch. Split street corn, chips and salsa, and 4 tacos with my fiance over some cocktails. Not a bad bite in the bunch! Everything was delicious, but the barbacoa taco was out of this world. We had the blueberry cheesecake flan for dessert which was also incredible. Our server Kayla was awesome and made it a great experience. The decor is cool and funky and the atmosphere was great.
We will definitely be back!

30 minute wait not too shabby! Parking is crazy so be mentally prepared for that. Ordered shrimp taco & steak tacos. The tacos were fckn amazing!!! Came with side of rice & beans. We also got nachos, decent, but I’ve had better. We both got a pineapple margarita. They were very strong🤤

The service, the food, the atmosphere? IMMACULATE. The shrimp tacos are phenomenal. The only thing is parking is really hard to find.

Got the “chipotle chicken tinga tacos” with full confidence. Boyyy..I was not disappointed. I literally inhaled these tacos, they were so juicy and flavorful. Rice and beans were “okay” nothing to talk about. The guava margarita, however, is an absolute must. This is coming from a strictly social drinker, it was phenomenal. Definitely have come back here during happy hour when tacos are $2 a pop. I’m totally okay with putting myself in a food coma when it comes to the tacos. Give it a shot🙂

Best taco place in Rhode Island. The options are great and the staff service is extraordinary. I went once over the summer and now I literally go there every week either on friend dates or solo because the tacos and drinks are THAT GOOD! Today I went there at 3:16pm and got my food by 3:22pm. All the staff is extremely accommodating and food is too notch!

Loved dining at this restaurant! My girlfriend and I both ordered quesabirria tacos along with some street corn. To drink we each had different flavored margaritas. The chips were freshly made and the salsa was unlimited. Definitely would recommend for someone who's looking for good birria tacos!
