Amazing food, all fresh and prepared beautifully. Great place and well worth the visit. The locals are very friendly and inviting and the food is absolutely delicious.

The Farmer's Wife catered our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. We loved working with Emilie, she was on top of everything and wouldn't hesitate to pick up the phone and go through the details with us as our wedding date approached. Also the food is amazing. We had guests from NYC, Chicago, Austin and other areas with so many great food options, so the bar was high and they surpassed it. Some fan favorites were the fried chicken bites, beet latkes, mushroom risotto cakes and carrot ginger cupcakes but guests commented on how much they loved every item. We can't wait to stop by for lunch. Highly recommend!!

We had not intended to stop en route to Hudson, however this little place looked so welcoming that we could not pass it by. It was such a wonderful experience that we shall most certainly come back (again and again). The place was immaculate, the food positively delicious, the dessert unbeatable, and the service warm and gracious. Highly recommended.

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat, OMG best burger I have had in a while. Friendly staff. Small menu but definitely recommend stopping off in your in the area, well worth it!

Saw it while biking and decided to stop in . Had a pork roast( 3 nice slices) ,green beans ,roasted carrots, coffee and vanilla cup cakes. The pork roast was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The best I've ever had! The veggies were delicious. The prices were reasonable. The dining area is small and like a deli and the food is great!

The Farmer's Wife recently catered my wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. The food was so tasty and fresh, and their staff was friendly and professional. If you are looking for a caterer in the Hudson Valley, then look no further. TRF is definitely who you want to book.

Happened to stop at this delightful shop on my way through town. They do catering but also have a nice take out menu and a seating area. Food was tasty and excellent. The atmosphere was very nice (wonderful building) and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Party of 4 had lunch one random weekend day in March 2013. All ordered different items from the speicals menu (Duck among other things), and we found every one of our plates contained top notch food. Had a pastry for dessert. One of the best lunches I've had anywhere. Prices for the quality and quantitiy of food was very reasonable. I'm looking forward to my next visit to the area so I can go here again.

Emilie is OUTSTANDING! With COVID, we had to readjust our wedding plans and Emilie was exactly the perfect fit for us. She is extremely responsive, very thoughtful, and envisioned the most perfect wedding dinner and dessert. We received so many compliments on our dinner because Emilie designed the most simple, elegant, COVID-friendly plan. Highly recommend this super delicious location and exceptional customer service!

Like going into Mom's kitchen . There is always hot soup, sandwiches, cookies & drinks. The take out is perfection.....roasts, veggies, potatoes all to go. Lisa is in full command & caters to your every whom !!!! Please stop by it's the best in Ancramdale !!!!

I've done it all with the farmer's wife. I've had my wedding reception catered by them and my wife and I enjoy going here for lunch. Love it. I get the sesame noodles for my mom. Amazing.

Great spot for lunch or breakfast. Worth a short and beautiful drive out of the way if you are headed north on Rt. 22 or the Taconic on a weekend morning or an apple picking adventure!
