Ground Zero Fighting Systems Huntington WV

This place is phenomenal. My 6 year old son started their free kids Jiu-Jitsu classes last week and hasn't missed one since. I've never seen him so excited and dedicated to go to a class and learn! The instructors do a really great job coaching so many kids at once. You can really observe the passion and commitment of all those who attend the surrounding classes. 100% recommend this gym to anyone considering. My only regret is I didn't get my son in here sooner!

Great place to train in jujitsu, judo, wrestling, kick boxing and more. Several black belts that teach. If you're looking for a place to train or have fun or both come in and try it out! It's the best jujitsu gym in the tri- state.

Been here for almost a year! As a girl I feel very welcomed and have never felt weird here. Everyone here is nice and helpful. Gary is awesome in the morning class and the striking class is great!

I've been training BJJ at GZ for over a month now. I love it. They have great instructors and the energy is always welcoming. I have also been very impressed with the level of respect all of the members show one another and their willingness to help the new people. I highly recommend Ground Zero!!!

Great gym, nice facility and group attitude with a knowledgeable instructor who knew how to make the class fun. Very welcoming bunch here! Definitely going to try to return.

The hardest step is walking through the door the first time. Wish I'd have done it years ago. Great place to train top to bottom. Professors are top notch as are the people you're training with. Hands down the best around! 👊

Hyped my son up for a month before deciding to try a class only to have Gray squash his enthusiasm within 30 seconds less than 30 minutes into the class. Gary brushed off the info that my son has ADHD. He yelled at my son and made him stand facing a corner for forgetting a rule (No punching) reminder this is my son's 1st time in class 1st time hearing the rules an instead of a reminder he screamed at him infront of everyone and humiliated him. Gary also yelled at another kid because the child told him there were 8 kids instead of seven. Gary's new rule "even when I'm wrong I'm right". If this isn't the biggest red flag for narcissism I don't know what is. Maybe the other instructors are different but we will never know as my son burst into tears as soon as we got into the car and I refuse to put him through that kind of abuse.
