Tom Cat Fishing Charters

Highly recommended, Capt Tom can do it all!! My husband and I went for a half day trip and went 6 for 7 on sailfish with 3 doubles. We finished the morning doing some bottom fishing. We had such a good time that we booked a second trip, and again had the trip of a lifetime. On top of an already great day of fishing, Tom got us on some giant snook and we had some chances at a school of tarpon. This was definitely a 5 star experience, and we would recommend it to anyone who has the chance.

My husband booked this charter on a whim just for fun on a random Monday. We left at 7am and the weather was beautiful. We spent about an hour catching live bait before starting the *real fishing*. To be honest, even catching bait was a blast with these guys.

At our first stop, we started catching kingfish. At our second stop we hooked a few amberjack (and I caught one 😉). At our final stop, we were fishing for sailfish and *nearly* got one up to the boat.

We saw dolphins and a manatee. Tom and John went out of their way to make our 6 year old daughter feel included. They catered to us while also showing their expertise in every way.

At the end of our day, Captain Tom took us close up to the lighthouse for a photo. When we docked, he filleted and bagged our fish.

In every way, this is best crew with the best attitude. We will be back!!

This was an amazing half day trip. Capt. John was a great teacher and very patient for a first timer with no ocean experience at all. If I get the chance to come back I will be booking again. Service afterwards back at the dock was great: expert cleaning and even gave me a recipe to use at home that make me look like a professional.

Tom and John are the best. Like fishing with your buddies except they are pros who catch fish better then most everyone.
I have been on two trips with them and caught a sailfish on both.
One trip we caught probably 40+ fish.
Kings, mahi, snapper and a sail.
It’s fishing so it’s never guaranteed, but if they are to be caught these guys will put you on them.

Captain Tom and his first mate John were AWESOME!!! If you're looking for an incredible deep sea fishing adventure without having to travel to far off the coast - this is it!!! My family and I had an amazing day and were so pleased with how knowledgeable and fun the crew was! What made the day extra special was pulling in a 40lb BULL Mahi along with a COW that weighed about 20lbs.! In total we pulled in approximately 75lbs of Mahi in one incredible morning excursion!! We can't wait to get back out there with Captain Tom and John! Thank you again for an incredible experience!

Excellent charter. Tommy and crew are professionals and do whatever it takes to catch fish. Will and Nick took us out today and they totally killed it. Love watching those guys do what they do because they’re that good at it. We nearly limited on snapper and had a huge cobia on ice by 9:00 am. Capped it off with a big old fat snook which of course we released. Thanks for a great time guys!

Captain Tom and First mate John are a great team! We have fished with Tom about 10 times, I caught my first two sailfish on a trip with him. We always catch a ton of fish whenever we go, and they even clean and bag all of your fish for you to take home. If you want to catch a ton of fish, Tomcat Charters is the place to go.

I have fished with Tom Cat on and off for over 10 yrs and I have never been skunked. I highly recommend this company, I have a 29 lb Black Fin Tuna on my wall chasing a sardine as proof. Our family went on a 1/2 day trip with Tom & John this morning and we had a great time. Both were exceedingly patient with all 4 of us newbies and helped us catch much more fish than I was expecting . Tom supplies everything you need for fishing so all you really need to bring is sunscreen & a hat. We highly recommend Tom Cat Fishing and we will definitely go out with him again next time.

We went out fishing yesterday with Capt. Tom. Despite not catching a lot of fish due to conditions, Tom persisted and put us on some great amberjacks. Most importantly, he is the nicest charter captain I have ever fished with. We look forward to returning to fish with him again.

Fished with Tom Cat the last two days and had a great time. The boat and crew were very well kept and we caught all kinds of fish. Capt Tom cleaned our catch and we took it to the Thirsty Turtle to have cooked . What a treat! Looking forward to another outing this winter Tom Cat.

Professional, knowledgeable and fun. Fishing with Capt Tom and his mate John was a great experience. His boat is rock solid and reliable, in 7 foot swells a dead boat can really ruin your day.
His knowledge in how to fish for multiple species from bottom fishing with dead bait to running kites out with live sardines to catch sailfish all at the same time provided an almost sure bet you will not only catch some fish but learn something while having fun doing it.
He runs his outfit in a very professional manner with an eye to safety and comfort for his passengers.

Hooking back up with Capt. Tom is a must for any serious angler in the Jupiter area.

Captain Tom and his Sea Vee boat was a pleasure to fish on. His knowledge of exactly where to find the bait on the day we fished was incredible. Other Capts. were clearly struggling to locate bait. His local knowledge was evident. We caught snapper, grouper, sailfish, and an assortment of other bottom dwellers. I have been fishing for 50 years. I have owned multiple boats Inshore and offshore. Have done many many charters. Both offshore and inshore. Tomcat Charters IS the best charter service I have ever used!! Tom and John were awesome accommodating our party of four. Within 15 minutes of leaving the marina I caught 4 slot Snook (out of season) before the sun came up. Every spot we stopped the rods were bent within minutes The day was full of action!!Never once getting cut off or needing a fresh bait a word was needled Both of these guys were on top of it Second to None service. Great day on the water with the boys! Couldn’t believe how many fish we caught. My buddy caught a huge Cobia, 30lbs. We almost beat the yellow tail record. Both Tom and John were great, took us right to the fish and they were biting. They were great company, considerate, and kept the bait coming. Also unbelievable at the end that they turned our haul into beautiful steaks and filets. Have come back. Will come back.
