I drove about 30 mile one way with cash in hand in an F350 to purches a use skid loader bucket (during normal business hours) and was told nothing was for sale that day because the "pricing guy" wasn't in. I asked for a guesstamatted price to the nearest 100...they flipped open a book at showed me three of four buckets that sold for around what I was willing to pay for the 44" I need @ $300 or less so I thought that would be ok.(they were not exact fits for my machine and would need futher work to boot!) I left my name and number on the two buckets I wanted and was called back with a quote of $500 for one and told I'd have to buy the skid steer that was 1/2 sunk in the dirt for the other @ $1400. Also on that note 8 month prior I looked at the bucket pile and it was exactly the same, showing he had moved no inventory on buckets in the 8 month time frame. There's y! rather then make money moving inventory and helping the customer he'd rather try making a killing hoping someone needs the exact part he has. Take some Vaseline if you have to make a trip up there!!!!!
