Penn Station East Coast Subs

This is my go to place for lunch when I am working in Gastonia or Lincolnton. The employees are always so friendly and smiling. You can tell they love their manager and their jobs. The manager here treats the employees with respect and has trained them well. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. The manager is always out working with her crew. If you haven't tried penn station yet now is the time. Till the end of the month you get a regular size sub (about 8") a drink and a small fries. All for 13.49. they also have the smaller size and the big boy to. You can always trust my reviews to guide you where to eat!

Oh and I really wish you guys would have a fresh squeezed lemonade made with Splenda. Chic Filet has started doing this and it's amazing. It's been so long since I was able to drink real lemonade.

Upon walking in, I felt like I was in a true authentic Sub shop!!! I knew what I wanted before I walked in, I had to try their Reuben, and they're Italian sub. Both subs were excellent!!! But the Italian sub really ranked high on my personal charts!!! An Italian sub (hero, Grinder) is an art form, or should be!!! Hitting on the right combination of meats,bread and cheese is what makes this an art form!!! To me a good Italian sub should be eaten plain!!!! No lettuce tomato, mayonnaise or mustard !!!! Only a few good pickle spears( another thing I'm really picky about),or some hot pickle relish. Anyways I let them make the sandwich their way, it did have mayonnaise on it, but hey I'm a firm believer in mayonnaise on any sandwich, just usually not on my Italian sandwich but this Italian sub was good the way they make it, "their way"!! Easily the best I've had anywhere near here, including most of Charlotte!!!! The service was great here, they had 5 or 6 people behind the counter and they all worked well together. They do hand cut their french fries here which I can appreciate!!! On their menu it said love at first bite and it was too for me!!!! I'm going back again tomorrow for lunch and get me another Italian all for myself, and I'm trying their fries also!!!! I truly highly recommend this place for an awesome sub experience!!!!!!!!!

The first time I went in the atmosphere was great and everyone was really nice. I’ve been there three times now and a few workers recognize me! I thought that was cool. The food is delicious and I definitely will be back for more!!

Highly recommend the “Avester wrap” created by an employee at this location by the name of Ava. She is so passionate and enthusiastic about her creation and she recommended it to me and I have been back to order it twice. I hope this wrap is added to the regular menu soon. Always welcoming and great service at this location. 10/10 recommend 🤩

Stopped in to grab a quick sub. I've never been here before and man oh man...how delicious!! I got the Philly cheesesteak and a small order of their fresh cut fries. It really was a great value and tasted fabulous. Certainly planning to come back!

This was our first visit to Penn Station in Dallas, North Carolina. The staff was accommodating and pleasant and very knowledgeable of their job. We both ordered hot subs, and took them home can they were still warm and delicious. I live in Cherryville, North Carolina,and I want to know when Penn Station is coming to my hometown?

This place is awesome! My food was made fresh and it came out quick! Everything was so good and the prices were good. The workers are awesome too. We had a great time! Shout out to Tika and Takiya!

Ordered via door dash for the first time wanting to try something new and OH MY! I got the teriyaki chicken salad and let me tell you THE BEST salad I’ve had in awhile!! I also got the mini Philly because it was top rated and it did NOT disappoint! Great food! Will be a stable for me!

I had returned home after a long flight from back home which I had returned from a funeral. My son and husband picked me up from the airport. I hadn't eaten much in a few days and we were all hungry. My husband spotted Penn Station and we stopped in to eat. I am a vegetarian. I ordered the Artichoke sandwich. My son and husband ordered meat sandwiches. I ordered first. The lady that took my order asked if I wanted them to clean off the grill before they made my sandwich. I was so shocked at her thoughtfulness and courtesy. During our meal, they stopped to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was to our liking.
The whole purpose of this review is to remind this business and businesses in general that your employees can make our break your brand. These ladies set the bar. The food was excellent. The service was excellent.

I used Penn Station to cater lunch for my organization. It was a hit! From the soft bread to the hot, fresh-baked cookies, the employees couldn't stop talking about it! If you haven't thought about sandwich platters for your event, you should check them out! The staff was most accommodating and friendly. Thanks, Penn Station!!!!!!!

The atmosphere, food , and employees are all Amazing. My favorite is the grilled club or the grilled Italian. They give you a load of fries with amazing customer service. They make sure you have everything you need before you leave. I absolutely love this place. I’m so glad they put one in Dallas!

The staff was very friendly, hard working, and very attentive, fast, courteous, clean. Ambitious, well mannered, approachable. Keep them all you cant find good hard working people anywhere that care about their job or the public. And the food was good too.

Great subs, clean dining area, and friendly staff! Teriyaki sub isn’t quite as good as Boone’s (not as much teriyaki sauce) but still a very good choice!

Amazing subs! I had the Reuben! The fries are to die for and huge portion! Store was so busy. You could tell they were working hard to handle the business. Everyone was nice! I will definitely be back again! Bonus at our house****The chocolate chip cookies are a must!

Hands down the best sub sandwich around. I have been here a lot and have never had a bad experience. The food is always awesome and fresh. They have the best customer service in the area. All others need to take note.

Came in around 730 it was crazy busy but the staff kept it in control. The lady with the red shirt was motivating the employees pushing orders some customers was very rude but all the employees was all multitasking trying to get every customers food out... very respectful employees and it was squeaky clean. I will be back

I am a truck driver I stopped in on my break I can say the staff was very professional an polite. The cook Kari made me a excellent turkey wrap. Hands down I will be back especially it was room to park my tractor trailer.

Tika took my order over the phone, the area I was driving through had horrible service and she was so patient and called me back not once but TWICE, and made sure my order was correct. Today was my first time eating here and when I picked it up through the drive thru window Takiya rang me up and got me my order super fast, she was very sweet! Very good customer service and awesome food! I will be back for sure
