G&B Oyster Bar

We drove over from Naples. Outstanding. I must go to place. The food was excellent. The service was great and I had a wonderful, bloody Mary. Joey, our server was excellent.

The food was very good. If you are from a foreign country that is not very used to eat spicy foods, keep this in mind when ordering. Almost everything was spicy.
The octopus was super tender, I recommend it.
The atmosphere sadly was very noisy. I don't think there's sound panels that reduce the noise. I got very overwhelmed.

G&B Oyster Bar is a companion restaurant to Coconuts, and we grabbed a quick beer at the bar while we awaited our seats at Coconuts.

The customer service was outstanding, and the drinks were great.

G&B Oyster Bar servers the same menu as Coconuts.

Do yourself a favor and give G&B Oyster Bar a try; you will not be disappointed!

Never disappoints! Best place in Ft. Lauderdale Beach

Service is very good even though the place is always buzzing with people.

Kudos: Textbook example of service recovery!
We telephoned to ask if 1/2 price wine was tonight. Hostess recited the timeframe of happy hour. Upon questioning again, she replied it’s first come first serve in the bar. Again asking about half-price wine night she said yes it was tonight!!
We drove from across town & arrived only to learn it was the night before (Tuesday) not Wednesday. Disappointed. ☹
Our waitress got the OK from management to honor the deal ~ and with a smile. This is the lesson for exemplary service and of course she made it up in gratuity.
Seafood was fresh. Staff was friendly. Recommend and look forward to returning!!

Came here expecting some drinks and seafood, but got so much more. The food is top notch: don't think twice, just order the Scoobies! Oysters were fresh and tasty, and the stone crab claws were a delight. Across the board I just kept eating seafood until I could barely walk out of the bar.

But I want to talk about the service: the service here is as good as -- if not better -- than some of the fancy Michelin starred restaurants I've eaten at. The staff was friendly, attentive to our needs, and the kitchen fired dishes almost as fast as we ordered them. Truly great teamwork in action here -- kudos to Tim and his team. I can't wait to come back!

my boyfriend and I visited Fort Lauderdale for a weekend ,to celebrate my birthday. I love seafood, so this place was first on our list and we were nothing but pleased with everything from the great service to the delicious food! we will definitely be back the next time we come to Fort Lauderdale. we had raw oysters , lobster fried rice, and the lobster cheese fries. They all were a 10/10 .

Me and my wife had dinner here prior to our cruise the next morning. It was a crowded atmosphere but great vibes all around. The food was delicious and definitely a place to come back to the next time around. Coconuts is next door and is just as good.

Do yourself a favor and order the scoobys

Always a great time. They get BUSY but the staff is built for it and know how to be efficient. We love sitting at the bar and having Brad and Taylor to make us feel at home!

There's lots of things to enjoy, on this particular trip we started with spinach artichoke dip. Let me say I understand that it has been on menus for the past 20 years, but this stuff is made in house, full of spinach and artichokes, and not thick or goopy. Served with a nice thin chip that pairs well. I then enjoyed a delicious calamari steak with chorizo sofrito, that's something you never see on a menu and is extremely tender and worth every bite. The fresh oysters, delicious seafood, friendly service, and great location are always a good reason to visit!

You can't go wrong with lots of things on the menu and don't forget there is a happy hour!

Of course the best sunset and food in the area, we will be back for sure!

Simply incredible. Food was exquisite, in a traditional seaside bar-dining atmosphere. Seafood was fresh and delicious, and paired perfectly with its “land” counterparts. Service was fast, friendly and professional, even considering the high volume of customers, Quite simply, do it, and don’t worry about the cost. No regrets!

What an awesome little gem we found here. We were actually going to the restaurant next door and due to the wait of almost 2 hours we decided to go to this restaurant next to them. And we are so glad we did. Everything was delicious, fresh, and very rich in flavor. Their drinks were also really good, we had their signature blueberry mojito and it was to die for. Their dessert was also very yummy and rich in flavor. We will definitely be going back when we visit again. Their customer service was really awesome even from the fact that is gets really busy. We recommend their oysters and their lobster.

We were a little confused at first about the seat yourself situation but we were able to sit in about 15 minutes on spring break. The best oysters I have ever eaten. My husband had clam chowder and loved it. Definitely recommend the Scooby appetizer!!! We were sad to learn that they no longer have alligator

Always go here... Food is always on point. Always get Stone Crabs or Oysters. Drinks always spot on. Staff makes sure everyone is happy. Pamela, very welcoming, made sure everything was better than good.

I had a great time at Coconuts Wayside and G&B Oyster Bar. I was in a hurry with little time and didn't think I had time for an off airport meal and would have to eat at FLL. Glad I took the risk. This is my favorite place to eat when in Ft. Lauderdale. I love it because it's close to the airport and with valet parking and dining at the bar, I can stop here drop my keys eat and leave with ease. Or stick around if ai have the time.

I had the Surf N" Surf Oysters and the Blackened Butterflied Red Snapper as the Local Fialsh of the Day w/Sausage & Sage Stuffing. I added an Eapresso Martini. Every thing was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for an early Friday evening meal. The female bartender suggested meal choices and I was very happy with the service and her suggestions.

Always a great place to enjoy a meal and some drinks.

Tried to get into Coconut’s but there was a 75 minute wait and so glad there was. Decided to go to G & B’s instead and oh so glad we did. All the the food we had including oysters & clams on half shell, conch chowder, crispy snapper (fish of day special) and linguine & clam sauce were all fantastic. May even go for back for second night in a row to try some other dishes. Oh, and the wait staff is super friendly as well! A true fem and must stop if in S. Ft.

Been here twice on layovers. Oysters are spectacular and the service is quick and friendly. Grilled octopus is best I’ve ever had. Recommend walking or Uber. Not a lot of parking. Attached to the Coconuts restaurant.

5 stars! One of my favorite spots in FLL! Food is always so fresh and flavorful. Have to start with raw oysters - always great selection! Crab empanadas were amazing. Lobster scampi was luxurious. Try to get a seat right at the bar. Cheers!

Great food and drinks. best Red snapper I ever had..Scoobies are off the hook. when you finish them save the garlic sauce for dipping with bread also your entree!!!
