The food at this place is amazing! Delicious authentic Indian, and the owners are lovely. The inside is a bit bright and classic kitch. We get takeaway here constantly.

Masala Corner is my favorite restaurant around. I’ve gone from someone who had never even tried Indian food before (huge mistake!) to someone who orders from this wonderful restaurant every couple of weeks. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and kind, and I’ve never been let down by a meal. I will be moving out of Rutland soon and Masala Corner is one of the things I will miss the most. I have only ever gotten take out, but I hope I can find time to eat in once before I leave! Thank you all for so many fantastic meals and great hospitality to me!

My family and I all thoroughly enjoyed our meal here!!! The food was so fresh and flavourful. We were served by Jaggi who was so friendly and attentive, and made sure to answer all of our questions and even adjust the spice to our taste. Seriously so good. Will be back next time I’m in Vermont!

While visiting my parents from out of state, my mom mentioned that there was a new Indian restaurant, knowing I love Indian food. I tried the spicy chicken tikka masala, the mild chicken biryani, the garlic naan, and the lentil pudding. It was hands down the most fantastic Indian food I've ever had. Portions were large, the chicken was extremely tender, the naan was soft yet with a lovely crisp, and everything was seasoned wonderfully. The staff was pleasant, and the overall experience made my day. I will definitely be coming back here and trying to bring friends with me.

Looking for a local restaurant that could accommodate my particular Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) no oil eating habit, my daughter hit upon Masala Corner in the heart of downtown Rutland. It being a typical Rutland Saturday night, we had our choice of street parking and chose a convenient spot opposite the restaurant. Walking into the vacant establishment (it was 5pm and they had just opened), we were greeted cordially and shown to a high top in the dine-in section (see photo). After the waiter identified which dishes could be made WFPB and oil free, my daughter ordered the Fish Curry with a side of garlic naan bread, and I opted for the Broccoli Masala. The fish turned out to be a generous portion of salmon sunk in a pungent curry sauce, which my daughter said was delicious. My meal was delectable as well--I spooned it enthusiastically onto an ample bed of basmati rice--luscious looking broccoli florets, potato cubes, and tomato chunks. The vegetables were fresh and neither over nor under-cooked. A delicately flavorful seasoning bobbed to the surface to tickle my taste buds. We enjoyed our meal, the background music, and this welcoming slice of India on a downtown Rutland street corner. I look forward to a return visit to try the red lentil dish. (Fast forward several weeks): Having returned to Masala Corner with my other two daughters on separate occasions, I've since tried the chickpea and lentil dishes, and they were as superb as my first meal!

It is always so hot and fresh even when you order takeout. I come here all the time and have never been disappointed. There is nothing around that compares to Masala Corner :)

I recently dined at an Indian restaurant in Rutland City, and the experience was truly delightful. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal.

First, I must commend the chicken korma and butter chicken dishes. The chicken korma was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spices that left my taste buds tingling with joy. Masala Corner is a wonderful, tasty, and welcome spot! As someone driving through, I stopped in town for a bite to eat on my way further north and was pleasantly surprised to see such a highly rated Indian restaurant nearby. Let me tell you, this place will not disappoint. 11/10 customer service, the owner is incredibly friendly and courteous. The food is exactly what I was hoping for and I left fully satisfied and wishing I could still eat more. Please come enjoy their food!

Wow. Amazing authentic Indian cuisine right in downtown Rutland. These are the types of businesses we need. Food was amazing and fresh. Service is very friendly. Of course this is in a wonderful historic building. It doesn't get much better than this. If you have not stopped by you are missing out!!

Haven't even left yet and couldn't resist leaving a review. Best Indian food I've ever had. We got the Chaat Papdi and Chicken Samosa as an app, both were fenomenal but the Chaat Papdi was to die for and a totally new food experience. I got the Lamb Korma as a main and I was extremely impressed. So much flavor and very tender lamb. We will definitely be returning and spreading the word of this hidden gem! Happy you're open!

I grew up down in North Carolina where every holiday my bosses wife would plate us all with traditional home cooked Indian food. This place made me tear up in remembrance of how much I miss that. The atmosphere in restraunt was not impressive to me. The service and food, however, was everything I had expected. To be fair, I arrived as they opened. Normally, I see they are much busier. I honestly do not see me choosing another Indian restaurant. Lamb Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, and Butter Chicken... all amazing.

Masala Corner really exceeded my expectations, I’m glad I came in. I came by myself (and missed the buffet, which is only on Wednesday) so I didn’t get to try many things, but everything was flavorful, spicy, and fresh - much better than most of the indian places near me in NYC, and better than anywhere else I’ve eaten in Rutland. I’ll be back with a bigger group!

Visited Masala Corner for the first time and was absolutely blown away. From the warm welcome to the final bite, everything was perfect. The dish I tried was beyond yummy – a delightful mix of flavors that danced on the tongue. Ambiance was cozy and the staff, super friendly. Another Friday night debating where we should go for dinner but this time we have our rambunctious 3 year old.... Tired of tasting the same thing and spending our hard-earned money on food I could have just cooked at home... That's why we originally chose this restaurant (& our love for spices) upon walking in I was blown away by the aesthetic. It's like walking into a portal straight to India, was hard to remember where we were (Rutland Vermont). Was told they would make anything our 3 year old would like! The food was served hot and extremely fresh! The service was outstanding! The server was extremely informative! They went out of their way to keep our 3 year old entertained. Great prices! The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the food he is serving! Every staff member smiled and was kind. Our 3 year old even got some extra goodies and special attention. 10/10 across the board! If your looking to get out and be treated this is the place to go! I just HAD to leave a review after our wonderful experience & I hardly ever leave reviews and it takes a lot to impress us (food wise). Will definitely be returning ASAP! Any negative reviewer was definitely having a bad day because this was amazing.

Ps. Their ceilings are absolutely stunningly beautiful & clean adorned with huge chandeliers!

Family friendly and fancy all in one!

Probably one of the best Indian food I've had in the country. We always stop by here whenever we're in the neighborhood. The staff is amazing and the food is always fresh and wonderful.

Wow, absolutely stunned at how incredible this place is. Found MC on a road trip looking for good vegetarian / vegan food and was treated to one of the most delicious meals of my life. The crispy hash brown chaat papdi was perfectly flavored and textured. Serive was remarkably warm and I was glad I over ordered because the leftovers were such a delicious reminder of this beautiful experience. Cannot wait to return. Thank you 🙏!

What a find! First found them before a show at the Paramount Theater (across street). Owned by a very sweet family and the food is outstanding. I’m a bit new to Indian food and they’re glad to help you select. My brother, who is an aficionado of Indian food, was very impressed.
