Chef's Diner

A true GEM! A proper diner, complete with very tight limited parking (caution!). I didn't expect to find huevos rancheros in a cafe in Connecticut, but there is a large community of Latinos in Stamford and it seemed most appropriate to see their selections on their menu. Black beans and sour cream with channels was spot on. All of the other fixings were very nice, all the plates are served in square which is slightly different than a typical diner, makes it stand out. One of the things I appreciate it most was the bright clean environment that is not typical with a dive or a diner. They used porcelain table tops and countertops for the bar area. That is expensive and will last a long time. The open kitchen and quick service was appreciated. The food was exactly what we went for. The coffee selection was great. Certainly highly recommend this.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The tables and chairs looked pristine, and the food cane out hot and fresh. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

The best brunch foods in CT, we love the omelet and buffalo wings. The meal is large size, it is enough to make you feel full. Definitely recommend!

I had the veggie omelette, hash browns, with a coffee. The hash browns came out hot. Veggies was fresh. I like the portion provided. It was good. No complaints. Food comes quick and service is friendly. I like this.

Great vibe. Finally a true diner with the real feel! Mexican warmth and great food - had the Huevas a la Mexicana……delicious !! Great find!

The diner is super clean and the service very attentive and fast. The fresh juice was served as a smoothie and was delicious! Did a great job with my omelet and coffee.

Although we arrived here by chance, the outside shouted, "this is our kind of place"! Unpretentious, proud, loved. Our instincts (with a buddy) were spot on. Great, friendly staff - clean, welcoming interior - and most importantly, the food was outstanding (see image). I'll be back.

This is a small business with delicious food. The only thing I wish could had been done differently is bringing the customers oders together not one first and then the other.people like to eat together from their own plate :-) , aside from that everything was perfect , Great food, fresh orange juice .

Second time here and as a small business owner, I gotta congratulate the owner nor only for the delicious food and service but also for your excellent management. You know how to treat customers and employees, I heard you saying while training one of them today: I have my way to do it but you can have your own way as long as the result is the same" and to another one: When you do something, you gotta do it right " and you were very polite on saying it. Five stars and two thumbs up for you guys, I hope you keep growing because you have to compete with a bigger diner near by. May The Lord bless you and prosper your business. We luckily came across this place on our way home from NY. The food was delicious! I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with a side of fruit. The fruit cup was overflowing with a variety of fresh fruit including mango, pineapple, cantaloupe,
honeydew melon, kiwi, strawberries, and bananas. My husband got the Western omelet which was great! My son got the nutella pancakes with strawberries and bananas...he said he was in heaven! It looks suspicious from the outside, but very clean on the inside! Highly recommend!!!

Love this place. Delivery is always on time and comes hot and delicious. Great breakfast and a sneaky good Mexican selection. The eggs fire have become a staple in our house. Also the churrasquitos are a great snack or appetizer. Highly highly recommend!

Great breakfast! Had a spinach omelette, delicious potatoes. Waitress brought it out to my car with a sweet note, wishing us a nice day. Kindness really goes a long way in 2022!
